The key reason is the companion app. Its not the regular zepp app is (zepp life) but a different one (zepp active) which is only made for the pop series. Its quite basic and doesn't sync with Google fit. You did bring up this point and so if someone is planning to sync data with Google fit, you may be in for a bad surprise. Apart from this, it's a great value for money. Amazfit is starting to differentiate on the sw as well.

Amazefit watches are meant for fitness enthusiast but sadly thier pop 3 series is horrible @ tracking & same goes with thier Zep Active App ,Most Users Have Denounced & Condemned the activity tracking Of Pop 3s considering this comes from the same stable it will be exact same disaster
My biggest frustration about smartwatches is that nowadays, smart watches are coming with big display which don't suit my thin wrist. Another disappointment for me.
Not good...buttons stops working in 2 month...after 6 month ,while in workout mode, the watch automatically comes out of workout mode and you loose the record for the session

The GTR 2 is far more superior and the Pop series is a very minimal one at that.

I think due to this metal strap with loose fitting, the sensors won't give accurate results. Right?
For health tracking it wont be very accurate, however u can get it tightened to fit ur wrist for more accurate results
