We have a 2021 Model Y. It is our only car. We absolutely love it. Being able to charge at home is huge. Haven’t been to a gas station in six years (we had a Chevrolet Bolt prior). We have taken several long distance trips. Super chargers all over the place. It does take a bit to charge up from 5% to 80%, about 25 minutes, but gives us time to take a break, walk around, get a bite to eat, use the bathroom etc. After 3.5 hours or so in any car requires a break.
I’m way too impatient for that. Plus if there are people ahead of you that time just increases 😬
The Tesla is the perfect car for you. A low mileage driver with multiple other vehicles. You work from home, charge at home, and don’t live in a cold climate. In addition both lovers and haters will watch and take part on your channels. It might drive you crazy, but that’s the nature of the beast.

So, activating the turn signals mid turn (because you forgot), now the buttons are on the other side of the steering wheel and opposite to what is indicated by their arrows.
Logically if right is the 1st one and left is the other and oyu have this little bar between them, technically all you need to remember is to touch when you feel the bar. You will never have to push left when doing like 2 turns of the steering wheel, only right at the roundabouts. But yes, this is the most idiotic idea ever.
That’s a downside for sure. I’ve run into that myself.
What happens if you accidentally hit the screen and break the whole thing? I think you said in a previous video you can shift up top by the rearview as well, right? just in case that screen gets damaged so you can still drive the car?
Yup, on the front middle area above the windshield there are gear selectors too.

Same as any other vehicle I imagine.
There's something about the bare minimalist design of the interior. Not much to distract one. But having the screen off to the side, rather than in the driver's line of sight, does not seem to be as safe. Maybe Elon could put a HUD just for your speed?
The speedometer readout is in the top left corner of the screen. Pretty much right in your peripheral. It does take a second to get used to though.

Not sure exactly what you mean by locked phone?
Austere interior. Gets good gas mileage even if you punch the gas.
Can’t beat the gas consumption in a Tesla 😁
