It's a great little discreet camera, mind you for moto vlogging and mtb it's pretty cool as you can angle the screen up and actually see what you're filming, I've found that to be a huge pro on the GO 3S and Ace Pro.
Dude. Excellent!!!! I think I’m going to choose this camera over the ace pro. How is it in lower light (looks good inside mall, better than my GoPro!) and for vlogging vs ace pro? Looks great!!!!!! PS: Is the flicker reduction when shooting inside decent?
Well, if it's for low-light, the Ace Pro kills it. The GO 3S works well in most situations, and I really love it, but if you need something that works best in low light you can't beat the Ace Pro.
I know that I am off topic, but as a subscriber, I would love you to consider creating an instructional video on how to install and use the geo maps in the EU as it is now a requirement. I have the Mini 4 Pro. Roger
Nice! De Ja Vu, kind of. Made a trip to London for the shop’s opening day a couple of weeks ago. Obviously it was rammed! Easy arriving at Piccadilly then it being practically at the top of the stairs. However, I didn’t take into account that when I left mid afternoon, Pride would be in full force just outside the shop that day and the underground being shut… mild panic to get back to Worcestershire and carry on filming at a festival. 😂
It’s quite a nicely put together shop, in a really great location. The staff seem nice. All in all a good experience. It would be great if Insta360 opened one too!

Love this! Does it communicate to back display if it is not connected? Is there a long extension rod that could attach to small cameras (not connected) to get photos or video from high perspective?
Yes, it communicates with the screen. There is a wide range of selfie sticks and you can connect it only to the camera to get cool perspectives and watch it on the pod to see what you're filming.
If you wanted to get really crazy, you can get an adapter to mount a camera on a 7m (23ft) painters pole. Handy if you want to circumvent a "No Drones" rule :)

The GO 3 was nice, good idea, but kind of always missed 4K on it, with this I’m super happy it finally has 4K, and I feel it did a superb job in Lanzarote where I really put it to the test.
I have the go3 and the quality looks pretty good if you film outside on a nice bright sunny day with blue skies especially on a cell phone. I tried filming inside and thought it looked pretty bad though.
Yes, I did make sure to mention that this is NOT a low light camera, like your phone, it performs best in full bright light. The Ace Pro performs best in low light situations, but it is a lot bigger!

What about the audio ?
The audio is good, surprisingly so. Unless it’s windy, then it might get funky due to the nature of the mics and the lack of wind muff.
