It's a much better option than buying a $300 bag from Amazon or doing what my neighbor told me he did (something along the lines of sewing together a bag made of old American flags and reclaimed fabric from the interiors of F-150s and then filling that bag with a mixture of gun powder and whisky... my neighbor has issues).
Sounds like it. And yes it absolutely is - I also really like knowing my bag inside and out so I can repair or adjust any of it on my own, instead of something mass produced online that falls apart. Definitely way cheaper!
