      now you hear 3.. lug to lug is huge at 50-52mm, too big for any wrist under 7inch.. seconds hand doesnt allign with the seconds marking ( even a 10$ casio watch does allign.. thats what a watch should do ) & the bracelet doesnt have fine adjustment links. its either too loose or too tight.

      @@mike15. The worst part about the watch is that Tissot intentionally modified the powermatic 80 movement to make it unserviceable. This means that every time you want to service, (every 5 years) you need to send it to tissot where they replace the entire movement for around $300.

    • @ph1lo
      @ph1lo 10 місяців тому

      @@ashwells1059Rose Gold is very much in fashion and for me that’s for a couple of reasons. It’s a gateway to the world of gold but just more low key (not everyone wants too much attention) reaching out to a larger audience, it’s probably cheaper to produce and therefore sell and it’s maybe more versatile. I’ve no gold watches but I don’t want one cause it’s just not me and it’s not versatile and it’s too much attention for my liking. I’d happily have a Rootbeer Rolex before I had a full gold model.
      I’m a fan and not an expert though but I have heard gold trends have reduced unless it’s white gold or platinum. Trends change but it goes in a circle every few years as with most things fashion related.

    Great watch, the clasp system however can make for a less than ideal everyday watch. Finding a good sizing is difficult due to the lack of micro adjustment somedays I find my watches with butterfly clasps to tight to be comfortably worn,but adding a link would leave the watch to loose.
    I find no one ever mentions this when talking about watches like the prx, but it's definitely something that's helpful to know before spending hundreds on a watch.

    • @bmxriderforlife1234

      I had a Gshok as well and bought the PRX automatic with the blue dial as my first automatic watch. I’m absolutely in love with it, the looks of the dial is gorgeous and the bracelet is just absolutely beautiful. I still can’t believe it’s only 750€ (yes they are more expensive now)

    i wouldn't say that it looks soo close to an AP, but it's definitely one beautiful looking classic 1970s integrated strap design

    The PRX is a lot of watch for the money… but to claim “It’s so close to an A.P.” might be a bit much.

    I can’t decide between quartz and automatic… quartz seems logical, cheaper, more accurate, I don’t often wear the same watches 3 days in a row so I don’t like having to adjust the time each day I use an automatic watch yet all collectors seem to prefer automatic… but then again you don’t buy a Tissot with the view that it is an investment …. It’s more about fitting your need now….

    I wish I liked it but I just don't. They styling is just to much for me. I do think for the price its value for money but would go a different model or be looking at the seiko range in the same price point

    I actually think the look a lot more like a Vacheron Constantin Overseas than a Rolex or an AP

      The difference is in the finishing. The tissot is mass manufactured so the finishing is not gonna be anywhere near as good as the 18 hrs they spend finishing the AP. But the tissot is a hundred times less expensive than the AP. So the question becomes is the AP worth a hundred times more than the tissot? That’s a tough sell when you have professional watch dealers repeatedly being impressed by the value of the tissot…
