Is it just the Toyota Corolla model car that they use those standard light bulbs inside the interior and not the bright LED lights? Toyota uses LED lights in the rear tail lights and front lights but how come not inside the interior so that you can see better?

The driver and front passenger are incredibly frustrating. The sound deadening material really gets in the way.
I have bought this product and I have a question. During the day, with the car lights off, the passenger and rear manners are on very dimly, but the driver's is not. Then when the lights come on, all four of them shine correctly. Why is this?
Do the LEDs light up during the day?. I installed them, they all turn on at all times except the driver's one, which only turns on when the headlights do. What is the correct operation?
You need to swap a wire around in the driver's side connector to solve your issue.

Hi all , I installed the lights with out any problems, however they won't turn off as power is always on to doors , so I removed them .

Have you had any problems? I wanted to do this to my car but worried about an electrical fire due to the wires looking smaller than stock
The LED lights draw so very little current..the wire size is not an issue.

Hi, thank you for your comment. LEDs are supposed to last for a long time. So far the quality of products from the seller (Cartrimhome) has been good. Unfortunately I can't tell you the exact lifespan of the product.

They stay lit all the time. But they are not too bright. They provide ambient lighting.

On 2022, I can say: Yes!
I don't think that I would want to mess with the wiring of these lights. I would go the easier route with plug n play with installing LED bulbs on all interior lights like the dome light, map lights by rearview mirror.
Hello and thanks for sharing such a nice upgrade installation guide.
Could you please help to allocate the right fuse that is responsible for door window switches lights? (I’m assuming that’s where these bowl covers taking power from with the plug-n-play split harness).
Is that going to be the fuse from under the dash fuse box or from under the hood?
The reason I’m asking is that I wonder if it is possible to hardwire a switch from that fuse to make these lights switchable in case if got annoyed by the light. And maybe even split that splitter harness to get some power to additional lights to be installed in the door panels. Just not sure if that is going to be to much light, wanted to have an option to switch it off in case if needed.
