I totally understand where you are. Being creative is an ever changing experience for me. Most likely, it would take a page to list all of the things I want learn or want to learn. It’s something I have been doing all of my life, learning something new every day day and being creative every day. From mulberry paper creation, acrylic painting, watercolor, recycling items into other things that are for decorative art, clay creatures, repurposing yard sale furniture, using and teaching others how to use a cutting machine, knitting, crocheting, beading, and of course, my passion for cooking. The words never allowed to be used in our home is, “ I’m bored.” There’s a great big world of things to learn, explore, and create.
Hopefully, you’ll share your sculptures and experiences with us. Thanks for letting us know all is well. It’s so nice to have you back. ❤
It truly is an ever changing experience! And you’re right…it’s almost impossible to “be bored” in this day and age. So much out there, so many things at our finger tips at any given time…the possibilities are exciting but can feel almost overwhelming at times!

Glad to see you back! This is super intriguing! I can’t wait to hear your thoughts on all the new stuff! You were actually why I purchased my first OG iPad Pro and started creating digitally, way back when you did a video about Procreate and the 1st gen iPad Pro! I have the M1 Pro at the moment, but would love to upgrade if I can drum up more business to warrant the purchase.
I would love to see videos from you on the 3d printing and sculpting!! I love sculpting with clay, but haven’t had much time to do it more.
I have not heard of ZBrush, but I would absolutely love to see some content from you on it!

I am 150% pumped for you to do 3d content. I fell off watching because I wasn't into 2d (I'd throw likes when I saw them, I'm no savage) but I am a 3d sculptor and modeler. I don't need tutorials at this point but I'd definitely watch your process videos and check out what you're making!

I love the nano in concept but without an actual texture I'm thinking people that want to draw are going to have to with the standard so the paper likes of the world don't double up that blur. Curious what you are thinking there. Also I LOVE ZBrush as well.
Agreed there-I don’t think you’ll get the same grit/texture as Paperlike (really see it as more of an antiglare measure) and think adding a screen protector in addition is really going to degrade that fabulous screen! I’m personally not a fan of Paperlike…I really prefer matte screen protectors to just cut the glare and dial down on the slick glass feel (which is what I’m hoping that this one will do.) Definitely cautiously optimistic to try it out!
Also from what I’ve heard the Nano-Texture has less contrast so your colors might look paler than it would on the normal screen
@@BeeJayDeL Really appreciate the thoughtful reply. I am with you on the paperlike, just use the term as it is familiar to folks in our space. You might really be on to something. I have an etched glass steamdeck which I am guessing is a similar process and does feel different to the current glossy screen. Put my Best Buy order in, worst case it gets returned!

I do wonder about the durability of the nanotexture and the pencil (thinking about scratches etc). And the "matte" effect i always get from a paperlike protector. So, i think i saved myself a couple of $$ by opting for the "normal glass" version. But, looking forward to hearing about if there are issues with the nanotexture and pencil!
Durability is definitely going to be the part to look out for!

The nano texture seems like a swing and miss-- i use protectors to reduce scratch; and the texture as a bonus. Having the texture directly as the screen? I'll be interested to see what the scratch results are
Yeah…that’s going to be the big factor-how does it hold up over time? Could be a nightmare for Apple if it goes south.

I ordered the same as you except I didn’t go for the nano texture glass. A while ago I had seen a tech reviewer say that who was negative regarding the textured glass on the Apple Pro Display.
I never use the camera on my iPad so that downgrade isn’t noticeable for me. Everything else is a massive upgrade from my 2018 basic 9.5 model, so yeah, I ordered a 13” Pro with the new pencil. Didn’t go for the etched screen though, didn’t think it was particularly necessary for the extra cost. What I am looking for is a colorful protective case. The initial offerings are lackluster 😕 I did not get a Magic Keyboard either. I figure that is an accessory I can pick up later if I end up wanting it.
I was never big on the keyboards before, but after getting the last one, I really liked it more than I thought I would. Turned out super handy to be able to quickly detach the iPad to throw it in the Sketchboard Pro…and then quickly pop it back in for protection once I was done. Super convenient!

My main disappointment is Apple Pencil Pro is not backward compatible. Only for M4 pro and M2 Air. I was hoping at least to get the pro pencils.

I don't think the Pencil is that confusing. If you have an iPad with the 'new' Landscape Camera (new Air/Pro), then the ONLY pencils that work are the USB or 'Pro' pencil because the Camera move has impacted the magnet/charging. That's also why the Pro Pencil only works with the 'Landscape' Camera iPads because that's the only iPad it can connect/charge with. The USB pencil works with ALL because its not dependent on magnetic charging.
I also see people complaining about the 'new' Magic Keyboard for the Pro's only. That makes sense too as its much slimmer than other iPads so the OG Magic Keyboard would leave too much of a Gap when closed and you couldn't close the new Magic Keyboard properly with the thicker, older iPads.
Personally, I went for the 1tb 13" Pro without the Nano-glass option. 2TB's was too much money, but I wanted 16gb RAM and the full M4 chip with the new Magic Keyboard and Pencil Pro...
Why they screw us over like this with the new pencil Bee Jay? Like why bro? So i gotta buy a new Ipad and pencil plus the ones i already have?

It’s so rare that I would use something as bulky as my iPad as an actual camera. I’ll just use my phone or actual camera. Having only one rear camera doesn’t make a difference personally
