Rather than doing a what I eat in a day video we thought we’d break it down to talk through how I fuel my training and what I think about. So this is everything around fuel & nutrition, enjoy!

Wouldn’t that be fun! Unfortunately doesn’t look like I’m getting a wildcard 😟 so unless someone wants to fund a Singapore trip for me?!
I am really curious, do you ever count/measure/weigh your food to check that you get the required amounts of e.g. protein or carbs, or do you just play it by ear? Based on UA-cam videos alone it does seem as if a lot of pro triathletes are quite relaxed in that respect, which I can easily understand, but being too relaxed could probably end up affecting recovery as well as strength etc.
No I don’t count / weigh / measure my food. I am confident that I have a good enough understanding of the amount of carbs / protein / fat I need without having to do that.
@@Reastle1 Thanks. A bit of a misery if one had to. I tried for a month over a year ago and while there were a few surprises I learned from it the faff was simply too much.

Do you find that training fasted has ever affected your cycle?

@@Reastle1 oh sorry I just thought you said you only eat something before the swim if you are hungry. My apologies, I must have misunderstood
My wife and I love you but, your always eating cake. Laugh😂
Hmmm not always 🤣 probably more croissants than cake!
