Thanks for posting I don't even need to look at the tabs I just look at the chords that you're playing because I know them all, One of my favorite tunes
I've been banging away on the guitar for many decades, I have no problem with minor 7 chords formed on the first 4 strings, but I have to agree with the other guy, it's very easy to play on the piano (for me anyway), and I'm no great piano player.
Thank Bruce you saved my bacon. I love this song and I am going to learn this. I have all the time in the world because of this damned COVID. On the bright side it gives me more time to play guitar. YEAH!
Hi. Thank you so very much for this. One question: in the second half of bar 10 (and same in progressions later) you have a chord not diagramed. Would you please tell me the name of that one? Thanks again!
I was just trying to play this on Bass the other night. I’ll try it on guitar, but I’d like to transpose it to Bass too. Any tools for this? I tried Ultimate Guitar site, but they only have Guitar Tabs for it.
There is another chord played at the very end of the original after the final Fmaj7. It is quite dissonant, and I need help figuring out what it is. Ya have to check out the original recording to hear it. It adds a lot of poignancy to the song. Makes it into a sort of plea, or adds an almost tragic twist? Can you help me figure out what it is? Thanks! :)
@@jbruceguitar On UA-cam there is a channel called The Piano Guy. He says the chord is an Fmaj7 played at the same time as a Gmaj7. It requires 8 notes and we guitar players only have 6! Another guitar player on UA-cam suggests just using Gmaj7, but then there is no dissonance... Got any suggestions for what we can use?
Absolutely the best tutorial of this song on the internet! Thank you!

Thanks, one of my favorite songs I wanted to learn to play. Great job.
Thumbs up , I will use this for learning new chords . I have always enjoyed this laid back tune .
Thanks Bruce, beautiful song to learn and a good one for technical practice.
Thank you, Bruce...😊
I tried to learn this on piano years ago. This is so much easier on guitar. Thanks again!
much easier on the piano

Don't know about any tools off hand. I would just transpose down an octave. Easier on a 6 string bass. More involved on a 4 string bass.
Bruce Lindquist Thanks Bruce

Dissonant it is. Sounds like brushing the strings behind the bridge on a electric guitar. Or maybe the strings on a piano.

Thank.u
You’re welcome 😊
It's great and thank you. But skip the drums next time. All those cymbals crashes are not helpful for learning.
I can't help but sing it, it's distracting me from learning
