I am a songwriting teacher. Been playing guitar for over 40 years. This man is amazing as a teacher. I learned plenty of cool stuff from this site. These riffs open up songwriting ideas. In case you're wondering I volunteer to teach the class at the Homeless Mission in Hollywood, Fl. I've been writing songs about the Homeless based on stories the people in my class tell me. Next the songs go out to raise awareness and money for the homeless. We're trying to create a revenue stream for the homeless like the girl scouts have with their cookies!
Thanks for the video, at the beginning you said you've put together these 5 easy riffs and some are gonna be easy, some will be more complex. I've been watching your channel for over 6 months now and this video is the exact summary of my delta blues journey and skills all thanks to your videos thank you so much for what you are doing with those videos man !!! It's 5 out of 5 for me thanks to your videos again. Those who have been here for a while like me know it the same. Keep it up !!! ❤
I’m loving all your tips. You are very generous with your knowledge and I appreciate you! Please keep them coming and I wish u big success with ur channel
I became a member of the Feedback guitar academy just to support the channel. What a great teacher. Thank you for all the effort you put into your lessons.
Absolutely banging lesson bruv. I paid good money for a (very boring) blues course that I got not much from (from a very good teacher it must be said). Been doing some drone delta stuff recently but everything seemed to dry up after the intro lessons- then you jumped in with this Bad Boy- there is weeks of work in this most excellent & spot on lesson. I'm absolutely streaming with Man Flu, but when it (and the bottle of wine Im drinking) have passed this vid is no.1 to 3 on my morning practice routine. New subscriber here!
Everyone always draws from Lightnin Hopkins for their Delta lessons. Lightnin was from Centreville, Texas. I'd like to see Skip James included more often.
He's young. Talented. Gibson guitar collector. Awesome player. 2 drummers. 2 different tuning of the drums and alot of music going on for just one drummer. Neil Pert is hard to replace.
Is it possible to do a lesson on the ending of the "train whistle" riff? that little descending fill...to me that's the best part! Thanks...just found this tonite and subscribed.
I'm sure they have entry levels models that are affordable. I'd get a Martin DRS2 or at least play one. They cost about 300 to 400. I have 4 fancy acoustics but that Martin DRS2 is my go to guitar. It sits in a stand about 6 inches from where I try to write songs. It's more guitar for the money than I've ever found. Second pick-Epiphone Hummingbird, this is an amazing guitar with the built in electronics. This Epiphone Bird sounds great through an amp and it's easy to play and so beautiful. $349 plus tax. I got mine in Black with the awesome Hummingbird pick guard, iconic guitar. Good luck! Hope this helped. BTW if you live near LA go see my best friend Norman Harris at Norman's Rare Guitars. The best guitar store on the West Coast. George Harrison, Bob Dylan and Tom Petty shopped there, sadly only Dylan still.
Best Blues guitar teacher on UA-cam! Working on this today. Thanks for posting.
Wow great lesson! Thanks a million!

Great lesson. Thanks
You cheered me up! Call and response is the best :)
Great lesson, thank you!
Everyone always draws from Lightnin Hopkins for their Delta lessons. Lightnin was from Centreville, Texas. I'd like to see Skip James included more often.
Maybe because Skip James liked the D minor open tuning and Hopkins was in E major a lot.
The always seem to skip James!
He's young. Talented. Gibson guitar collector.
Awesome player.
2 drummers. 2 different tuning of the drums and alot of music going on for just one drummer.
Neil Pert is hard to replace.
Great riffs. I’ve been looking for some new ones. Thanks.
You make it sound very easy buddy

If you think about it Jimi Hendrix played the notes of a A 7# chord, shaking his right hand while doing it in the opening licks of "Red House"!❤
Is it possible to do a lesson on the ending of the "train whistle" riff? that little descending fill...to me that's the best part! Thanks...just found this tonite and subscribed.

What Taylor guitar model is it?
Do you know maybe, if Taylor has its own sub-brand of cheaper guitars?
I'm sure they have entry levels models that are affordable. I'd get a Martin DRS2 or at least play one. They cost about 300 to 400. I have 4 fancy acoustics but that Martin DRS2 is my go to guitar. 👊😎👍
The Karate Kid was a pretty good blues player…
😂
Watch what he really would sound by what he did.... Hollywood guitarist only
He didn't actually play any of the parts in crossroads. It was all Ry Cooder and Steve Vai
@@npd23: what ? 😮 no way !
Wax on, wax off dude … Mr Myagi proved that guitar scales are Zen
Oh no!!! Another light s..n kid teachings the blues.
Bit slower please
Too fast for me
As a teacher, I find he goes too fast.
In UA-cam you can slow the speed to 75% .and then you can follow.
Yep number 2 is like a witch with balls around their legs and they just can't move my over
Yeah like I said it was swipe but yeah I thought I was going to learn down to Blues there but no Mark Knopfler he put his pants and got nothing
wow - incredible fun sound and video. Thank you!!!
Awesome lesson thanks!
