I could see them re-releasing Blood Omen 2 and Defiance in the remastered style like this. Then for Blood Omen I could see it be like a mix of the recent Resident Evil remakes with the gameplay perspective and a mix of the recent System Shock remake where they update the visuals and gameplay to a more modern standard but keep the story and characters the same for the most part.

Im so happy to see soul reaver again in 2004 i play almost all cgapter of the legacy of kain series with my brother, (fantastic coicidence this game comes at 10th december 2024 last year at 10th december i broken up with my gf its like a reward to move on on her and finally wait for my kid self to play again)
I beat all of the games in Legacy of Kain series and lots of puzzles as well to solve 😂 I remember I signed the petition for a new soul reaver and then a remastered version of the games ii wait forever 😂 for this to happen 😊
I got it for the map and compass, I own SR 1 and 2 but always got lost and didn't know where to go in 1 and I wasn't gonna skip 1 and go straight to 2 so, map/compass = I can play it.
Yes its not really a hand holding type the first one. I loved as a kid to explore the world's every corner, looking for unexplored areas - as there are a lot of extra - but dont hate the idea of a map and compass as an adult.
@@yetanotherreviewchannel I suffer from wherethefuckdoigoitis, I often get very lost in games and spend hours going in circles missing where I need to go and what I need to do so the compass/map thing is super helpful.
Im sure there are lot of great VA who could follow up him with some alteration to the voice in the studio. But yes actually im just glad he is in this one, let's thank his family as possibly they allowed it.
Tenchu is the same case as Soul Reaver!!! Such an underrated game. Only thing is i have not played it but from what i know about Tenchu, Sucker Punch sounds like a good idea! Just dont make it another Souls-like game. But a "Ghost of" style game sounds about right!

@@yetanotherreviewchannel the thing is they did the remaster for tomb raider, battlefron 1&2, star wars bounty hunter. Now legacy of kain. The have made a few cool game, 15 years or so ago, such as stubbs the zombie. Lately i'm starting to think that the tomb raider collection was just luck. Considering the state of a beloved classic like battlefront (3rd person pvp game mainly) and then bounty hunter I would keep my expectations somewhat low for the time being. This is one of those cases where it is actually up to the devs to PROVE that tbey know what they're doing and that they deserve our money.

I had a demo disc from the ps1 that had this on there, never got to play the full game though, I’ll definitely be picking up a copy of this though

Don't worry i already bought those games, and they work just fine. I don't feel the need to pay for HD skin packs and remastered Audio.
Also if you get it on Steam for example, you can download HD texture pack for Soul Reaver 1 im sure!

It's funny, because the story line in both games, we're incredibly well cgi high tech animation, but the game itself seems robloks type.
Cmon man!!!! Both over 20 years old games. :D Everything especially on the PS1 is very blocky!
