Nomad has been the best new thing I've watched this year. It's incredible how much they've managed to tell using the previously stablished framework. As for the video, it was once again very enjoyable. Your scripts and voice are what I keep coming back to. Great work and stay safe
Absolutely, I wasn't expecting it to veer away from the actual boxing as hard as it did, but it worked excellently. And thank you! That's very kind of you to say.
@@Aaox This season was amazing. You could throw a dart at a seasonal chart and land on a classic anime. So I hope you have fun clearing your backlog, Aaox. Oh yeah, and Super Cub is definitely up your alley.
Megalo is painfully undrrated. Fighting my own demons and being at a terrible state in my life, this season really, REALLY spoke to me. Like you've mentioned, season 2 just completely blows season 1 out of the water, and it's gone on to be one of my all time favorites. Couple that with how much I connected to and felt this season due to my own stuff going on, megalobox is always going to have a significant place in my heart and I'm not going to forget about it or its messages. Megalo season 2 has been (as pathetic as it may sound) the main motivation for me to finally get my life on track :) I'm a far way away from getting where I need to be, but I truly am grateful for season 2. I'll be sure to buy the box set, vinyl, and whatever merch I can officially buy once I have to funds to do so comfortably
Please excuse any mic pops; there's a strange software conflict between my Yeti X and some other thing that causes it to do that. I've yet to figure out quite where exactly the conflict is, but it's something I'm investigating. I hope it's not too detrimental to the audio quality.
Great review. I was recently mulling over the idea of rewatching megalobox actually, I didn't even know there was a second season out, needless to say that after watching that my decision was very easy.
I think I might give this a look in. I dismissed s1 as probably great but not quite my cup of tea, but it sounds like it went in a nice and ultimately more profound direction. Great work as ever.
For me Megalobox was always something I knew I'd want to watch inevitably. So glad I finally got around to it. Binged season 1 and 2 in the span of two days. Too damn good.
Megalo Box getting a sequel was much like The Last of Us getting a sequel. TMS just actually came up with a story worth telling/a story that makes the first outing look almost like it was made to just be the foundation of the sequel.
I'm not going to watch this review now, because I haven't seen Nomad yet. I'll get to it when it hits Blu-Ray because I quite enjoyed MegaloBox S1. At any rate, just leaving a like and comment to please the algorithm. I don't have to actually _see_ an Aaox review to know it's good stuff after all ;)
I feel like I’m the only person that enjoyed s1 over s2. I loved Chief and the community in the first half, but revisiting his past life wasn’t nearly as impactful
Nomad felt so good this year, after one of the worse years of my life the whole thing about Joe being so fucked made me felt things
Yeah, it's a uniquely appropriate, unfortunately relatable scenario to have Joe be in.

Nomad was really unexpected, I wasn't expecting this season to be this enjoyable. But the biggest surprise of the season to me was Odd Taxi.
I missed a few greats from this season that I need to go back to before I could say anything conclusive, Odd Taxi included. I'll have to check it out.

Dude, you are back! I love your content man. Your voice even with the pops is so dang smooth.
This was exciting to see in my sub box. I'll certainly be checking out Megalo Box, especially seeing as you cleverly avoided any major spoilers
The time has come, Lord Aaox has blessed us with his appearance (but seriously I always look forward to video, your content quality is so high)
Always excited to see new stuff from you!
Great review. I was recently mulling over the idea of rewatching megalobox actually, I didn't even know there was a second season out, needless to say that after watching that my decision was very easy.
I hope you enjoy it. It's a different kind of vibe, but still a very good one.
Happy 4th Aaox

Arox is back at it again with a killer review. Hopefully, this one gets more views than the number of subscribers you have.
HONEY WAKE UP NEW AAOX REVIEW
Thanks for always making great videos!
Thank you for returning to watch them!

I getting kemono friends flashback from this scene
Damn you 😑
Anime of the year?
It is mine
IT'S BEEN SO LONG!
Papi's back
an aaox upload!
You're telling me there's a lost Aaox Megolo Box review?
There's a lot of canned scripts that never saw the light of day, tragically.
Meg-ahlo box. Hahah I always saw it as mega-low-box
I still pronounce "Nier: Automata" as "aw-tom-ah-ta" instead of "aw-tom-uh-ta" so I'm probably just an idiot
@@Aaox tomato tomata.
One of the best anime this year
what's the exact microphone that you use for these?
Considering how much you like Megalo Box, have you checked out Ashita no Joe ?
Really need to. Hajime no Ippo, too.
@@Aaox oh man, you’re in for a treat with Hajime no Ippo. Just the soundtrack gets me hype.
So, if the first season is Ashito no Joe, the new one is Texhnolyze?
🤦🏾♂️it’s to happy to be Texhnolyze 😂
Ashita no Joe S2
Perfect timing I just finished
Aw shit i haven't finished it yet! Now I've gotta up my marathon so I can watch the review!!
Nice
Underrated anime enjoy give it 8/10
