Welcome to a fun little daily vlog from Gran Canaria! It feels like everyone is talking about GC as "the best nomad destination in Europe" so I had to check it out for myself. We decided to stay in the CoworkingC Coliving space and loved it. There is such a good community here and it's a really easy place to get set up in. I work full time online as a 'Digital Nomad' which means I get to travel the world with my fiance (Ed) and not be tied to living in any specific country. I created my blog in 2012 when I was living in America. I was thrifting so much that I wanted to start sharing my outfits online and inspiring other people to look in charity shops. Now it's become all about my Digital Nomad journey and what it's like to be a female nomad.

I'm from the South of England but I currently live out of a suitcase travelling all over the world.
↣ Where is your favourite place in the world?
I fell deeply in love with Gili Air when we visited as a paradise getaway, but Chiang Mai is my favourite place to live. Plus of course, there's no place like home (Dorset in England).

This looks so fun! You are living the life! I use to live in spain, back in the US now, but spain is so much more fun. It’s hard to meet and make friends in the US outside of big cities. Spain I had such a better social life. Hopefully I’ll be back someday!!
Yes it's a very warm welcome in Spain! Although as an English person I always find Americans super friendly :) But I'd guess that's just the British accent ;) Hope you make it back there someday!

It definitely feels quite different to Spain because it's got those laid back island vibes! I think you can also get much cheaper rent if you get it privately instead of airbnb etc, and eat more strategically 👍

Looks like a nice place, I'd like to check that out sometime. When you make these videos of various places around the world I wish you would talk about the language and any language barriers, like how well you can get by just speaking English and so forth. That's something I always wonder about. And even where some of these places are located. For instance most North Americans are probably not that familiar with Gran Canaria and where it is and if it's a country or part of another country, an island or what. I looked it up so I know now. But it would be nice to have it all in the video. Otherwise keep up the good work I love watching your videos!
Ooo that's interesting. Thank you! I'd say the English here is very easy. We speak some Spanish now from living in Chile so we have been using that quite a lot for fun too. Hope that's helpful and thanks for the suggestion!!

How many hours per day do you work normally? If you don’t mind sharing. I have just become location independent since January ( thanks to you inspiring me) however I took my first month long trip as location independent and found it hard to balance being a tourist and working how did you do it
Yes that's often a challenge!! I try not to work on weekends so I can do touristy things on those days. And we try to eat out as a group for dinner on most days too. But aside from that we are all about work! I'd say we work at least 8 hours a day, often more. It also depends on where we are - some locations we work less and some we work more. And of course what phase of the journey you are on - we have worked a lot more in the past and these days I could work a lot lot less if I chose to. I hope that helps!!
