Since my wife and children are here in Visalia Ca I would have to say here for at least 6 more years and travel from here. Then Pacific Grove as a home base. We both love it there. 😁🥂

I'm excited to see how you will enjoy Malaga the next two months! Southern Spain is one part of the country I would love to visit someday. I like the idea of having a home base. If I were to make the decision to be more location independent, having a home base would make things easier. Right now for me it is my home state of Michigan, but it always can change later! I will really be looking forward to seeing your next set of videos from here!

I used to have a house in Mijas Pueblo which is just down the coast in the hills above Fuengirola. It’s beautiful & well worth a visit!

I know - couldn't think of a better one :) I think that depends on where in Spain you base yourself. The Internet in my Airbnb right now is luckily flying!!

What does an average day in Malaga cost to eat & sleep? What are the beaches like?
Certainly southern Spain is a place I would consider residing as its still close to the UK to go back and see family or if family wanted to come and visit. If the plan is to establish a base in Malaga whilst travelling do you envisage acquiring your own place or would it be to use different accommodation when you return?
I think that would make the most sense, yes. If we could afford it ;-) And then possibly rent it out for the time we're away. But right now it's all just a bit of a dream anyway :)
I like the idea of being a digital nomad, but I'm someone who would absolutely need a home base to return to once in a while so my brain can "reboot" before the next series of adventures. Good luck with the home hunting!

Hallo Nellie, vielen Dank für die Erinnerungen an Malaga. Ihr solltet es nicht versäumen, die ca 30000 Flamingos auf der Laguna di Fuerto di Piedra zu besuchen (wenn sie da sind, hängt vom Wasserstand ab). Ist nicht weit von Malaga. Grüße und eine schöne Zeit.

Goat Cheese?!? Not a fan. I don't eat pork. Now the olives I'd be willing to try. While your there I hope you share some of the local food. Spain is on my bucket list and I want to narrow it down to one area or city. Thanks for sharing. 😁🥂
Oh come on - goats cheese is the best!! But I'm glad we can agree on the olives :D Watch out for them when you do come to Spain. I can definitely recommend Malaga in January - we've had 18-20 degrees and sun every day since I got here :)
How do you proceed about ordering stuff online? If you order some camera gear on amazon for example, do you order it to a future accomodation? There is no information online and I am sure that you have some experience in this topic.
Great question! Yes, so i have sent packages to an airbnb before, you should ask the airbnb host beforehand though. Sometimes it can be risky depending on how long we stay in one place - you might miss the package if for some reason it is delayed. Generally I try to time important shippings with me visiting my mom in Germany (or Greg's parents). Hope that answers your question?
what are the jobs for digital nomads?
Hi Nellie - wondering what is Greg's status as a non-EU national? Will he be able to access health care etc? Malaga looks great in winter but in summer isn't it full of tourists?
That's what we are trying to figure out over the next couple of months, maybe even the next couple of weeks. Can't be much harder than in bureaucratic Germany... And yes, in summer it would get crowded if you are in the city centre or by the main beach. But we could always plan travels over June-September :)

Nope. We left shortly before and wanted to come back on September first but that got delayed so we might now not be back in Málaga until December or January sadly.
