One of the resons the US interstate highway system was to be used as make shift air fields.
Great comment. They would do practice ops near Aberdeen NC on a stretch of highway there, using C123, c130, and other aircraft to support spec ops training.

My question is, what exactly is your point here? F16s landing on a highway demonstrates it needs long flat surfaces like a runway.... So they aren't saying these planes can land on highways under the right circumstances means they're misleading people? Sorry bud but you're not making much of a statement here. I browse CP and do call out a lot of his nonsense, however on this your argument is weak.

I find it interesting that you missed the point since it is pretty obvious that the F16 can be operated from highways rather than HAVING to be operated from NATO bases as the others have stated. As well as others stating Ukraine would be getting NEW nuclear delivery capability when they have had that capability for the entire war.
