That worked! Thx. BTW, I used kitchen towel but I backed it with some clear packing tape to make it stiffer then easier to push through and so no ink would leak through. Also, I had no syringe but I had an eye dropper so I ran a 3/32" drill bit through the end to open up the hole and that clipped onto the nozzle nicely. I did two flushes with the eye dropper. Prints like new now.
Why does no one seem to know anything about ET Eco tank series, ink tank not filling, but seem to know about everything else that I come across, over and over again?
HEllo "guys in the same boat", there is also the power cleaning, switch off, push ? + on buttons till it switches on, then let it wok 10min, done. It uses a lot of ink but saves a lot of time! anyway thanks for this accurate video!
Hello your tutorial was very interesting and i hope i can fix my problem with my printer. please can you advise which cleaning fluid to use, to purchase in the UK.
Hi! I wonder if you could help me. I have an Epson ET-M1120 (monochromatic) which I use to print tattoo stencils (many tattoo artists are doing the same wíth these printers). So basically when I set it up for the first time I fill the tank with stencil ink for printers instead of the regular black ink. I didn’t print anything for a 1 month and half and now it’s printing with missing lines. I have done everything, head cleaning, power clean, everything that comes in the manual. Now I’m panicking cause I really need it to work 😭 Anyways I am wondering if I can do this manual cleaning to this specific printer? And (sorry for my ignorance) but should I do it with the ink still in the tank? Wouldn’t it be better to take out with a syringe and fill it again with the ink after cleaning? Won’t the liquid mess up the ink? I would be really grateful for any feedback. Thanks anyways for your videos. 🙏🙏🙏
what are you using for the liquid to flush the clogged head? seems to be like nobody talks about this enough other than refer a product company for purchase!
I have questions for this video . Normally iside still have ink and in combination with cleaner this will be 50/50 ink/isopropyl alcohol .If the cartridge can be removed like normal printer this will be better .

Hi nice simple video im going to be using my epson 2650 for tattoo stencils so will be changing the black for tattoo stencil ink. will this process work to clean out the lines and black tank so i can print with the new ink?
I have an eco tank that I haven't used very much and now when I did the nozzle check and everything it was barely printing so I tried to print out something and nothing's coming out. The page is coming out blank. So would I have to do that to each line? And do you have a video to see could it be clogged coming from the actual tank that holds the color because it says that my tanks are almost all full. Help! Thanks very much.
I have an Epson ET 2550. It is used, it has a little of regular ink but I want to know if there is a way to flush out all that ink to convert it into sublimation printer and add sublimation Ink. Hope you can help. Thanks.
I would advise you to suck out any remaining normal ink with a syringe and needle and then print until it runs out , then add a little sublimation ink and again print. This is most likely the only way.
I tried doing this with my eco tank and the nozzle check comes out almost blank :( Any advice? I'm going to call Epson tomorrow about it but I'm quite nervous
Same here, my printer is now completely printing blank pages (not even smudges). I've done over 20 head cleanings and printing over 50 pages and it is still blank.

It is always the black on many models and blobs black ink as well. Epson has a problem with their design or black ink chemistry is wrong. My ET-7750 it will do it every few pictures then get some that are fine then blob of black again on a print or so. Nozzle checks are good and do a nozzle clean many times a month. I will do a nozzle check and it is good do a clean then a nozzle check again then there is missing black spots makes no sense because it should be good not bad after a clean. I am on my third ET-7750 from Epson the third has a spring that was stuck to the packing tape under the scanner lid so I can't use it because the spring was for something. I have let Epson know this and it is 5 days and nothing from them. So for Epson they have poor customer relations and a poor product. I say do not buy the ecotank models for sure because many models have black ink issues.

Yes that would most likely work, definitely worth a try.

I hope you find a way 😀
When i try to flush my red. Ink or liquid comes out through the yellow. Do you know why it does that?
There could be damage to the line, it may not be blocked at all.
would this be the same for the 2720?
Yes if it works the same way.
Hello and help. Will this method work with the epson ecotank printers such as the 16600 i don't have cartridges but tanks on my printer

Even if there ink in the cartridge it’s okay?

I have a ET16600 I have done all the things.....the cyan still has blank spots now what?
It could be a damaged print head then and not blocked as the fluid works very simply and will dissolve any blockage.
If this doesn't work, can we order new print heads from Epson somehow?
You would have to contact Epson to find out that for certain but I don’t believe that’s possible , well not unless it’s done professionally.

Try running a few head cleans
