I just did the print head cleaning on my EPSON ET-2760 with the Printhead cleaning kit. At first try after cleaning I got nothing to print at all, but then ran the Power Cleaning and Nozzle Check and everything is back to terrific print quality with no issues. Thank you so much. I was close to tossing the printer and heading for STAPLES. Thanks again for a great tutorial.
Great instructions for cleaning the heads. Bought the suggested cleaning kit and easily follow the instructions. After cleaning, the printing was very faint. I tried printer several different docs and tests thinking the heads just needed to fill up again. Which - in the end was the issue. I ended up running the Power Cleaning process to restore ink volume to the heads. Print fine now. I hope this helps someone. :-)
This comment might be lost, but thank you Printer Guy! My printer sat for 4 years. Wouldn't print. Power clean brought back colour but no matter how many times I cleaned the printer head it wouldn't do black. Did your method with 10ml and it prints!! Money saved!! Thank you!
These instructions proved useful for me with an Epson ET-2500 that is being used for sublimation. After not having been used in some weeks, the print was ragged. All the colors were back to normal after a couple of head cleanings -- except cyan. The cyan was not printing at all and even a couple of Power Cleanings over a week had no effect. I already had syringes, cleaning solution, tubes and adapters from restoration of another Epson some time before. I followed the instructions for removing the screw and cover as they were exactly applicable to the ET-2500 also. I then was able to flush solution through the head area with no resistance to speak of. Of course, after reassembly and testing, this simply meant that the clog was not in that area. I opened it up yet again and instead applied suction to try drawing ink from the supply tank through the tube. This presented significant resistance until suddenly the blockage was overcome and ink surged into the syringe. I then reconnected the line, assembled once more and Voila! The printer is once more usable. (I did have to do another head cleaning to get the ink flow back to normal, as others have noted) Thank you very much for this resource.
have an epson ET-4760. was printing pink only. talked to epson they got me to do power clean other questions, they decided I was having hardware issue. 2 years and a month old, just past warrentee. offered deals on refurbished machines. after using your kit it prints like new, thank you so much.
I just pick up same model for $50 from Facebook. She note similar issue. I’m going to do this flush kit now as black and color is very dull, not bright at all compare to my HP laser. Glad I found this video 🎉🎉
This is very well made video as far as the instructions you provide, however, the insert instructions with the kit says to let the printer sit for 24 hours after flushing the printhead. Do you feel that is necessary? in your video you say to just print nozzle check etc
worked great and you forgot to include the power cleaning that I saw in one of your other videos. I needed the power cleaning after flushing the print heads. SOOOOOOOOO HAPPY !!!! Thank You!!! Mine worked the first try. Yay
After following your instructions to a T, I did the power clean cycle and it said to let it set for 12 hours. The following day, I turned it on and i have the power button on and it says scanner has trouble and says turn off and call epson support

Byron, I'm dealing with an ET-3850 that won't print yellow. I have watched many videos, and purchased your Best Printers kit which has been somewhat helpful. Could you do a video of how mechanically (hydraulically) the Epson printer works. After you clean the nozzle (damper?) will any small air pockets be pulled through when one does a color purge printing? Thanks in advance....
Thank you! I’ll try to do this process. My printer issue is exactly what you’re talking about. Hopefully i can fix it! It’s worth trying than buying a new one right away. This video is very helpful! I really appreciate it!
Yes buying this kit with a good chance of fixing the problem is definitely better than buying a new printer. Best of luck, you can always contact me through Amazon if you run into any issues.
PS when I removed the other cartidges after syringing the black cartridge in situ, the females of the other cartridges all had black ink. Is that just from the cleaning?
Yes, you most likely will need to warm up the solution. You can visit best printerstech.com click on the support button and you will see how to warm up the solution there.
You mention being able to warm up the bottle, how do you do that safely? And thank you for the product, I purchased one on Amazon and am about to use it on my Epson ST-4000. its printing every color but black, so im really hoping this cleaning kit does the trick.
Our Yellow stopped working, completely after an ink refill, not even showing up on a nozzel check. I tried this and was able to push through with a little resistance similar to how it seems you did in the video. However afterwards when running a nozzel check there is still absolutly no Yellow showing up again, all other colous are working perfectly. Do you have any advice on what I should check? Also thank you for this video, it's good to see more options than 'just buy a new one' ha.
Hi, I have an ET-4750 and Enjoyed your video but prior to viewing it I had done the Power Clean together with a new Maintenance Tank twice and it did not stop a thin white hor line on Cyan every 10 to 11 mm all down the page using std print settings to print an "cmyk printer test page.jpg". Power clean made no difference . I think I need to change the Print Head as it has had 7 years of use 27,287 pages in total of which 5,502 were colour photographs on glossy photo paper. Are there any video's on the process of changing a print head, I already purchased a new head from ebay for this printer at a good price. Thanks Mike.
Thanks Great video. Clean simple instructions. Just the right amount of info. Will let you know how it worked out. My printer ink clogged after 1 year. thanks
I’m hoping you can help me. My black and cyan were clogged pretty bad, I have tried the cleaning in the video and got them to clear however now ink won’t draw into the print head. I manually put in in the head using a syringe and it printed a few lines of a purge sheet then nothing. What could be wrong?
i followed your video instructions for my ET 2760, i cleaned the cartridges as shown and ran a power cleaning but as soon as it fininshed the printer shut off, and now wont turn on!!! ????
The solution just drains through the printhead, that's why you have to put the paper towel underneath it. If there's a little left inside and the ink isn't coming through, you have to print until the colors come through.
Hi, Brandon. I have an Epson ET-4850, and my problem is the pegs on top of the Ecotanks are clogged. I take off the caps on the new ink bottles and turn them upside down so they fit nicely on the pegs, but the ink will not drain into the tanks. I can see thru the windows that no ink has been added. I tried waiting like 20 minutes for each bottle to drain, but that didn't work. I sent my printer off to Asurion, the protection plan company. They sent it back saying it was fixed/unclogged, but they flat-out lied. I contacted the US headquarters for Epson. They said they couldn't help me because my warranty was up. I've also tried a print test even though I see the printer has no ink. It acts like it should during printing but it spits out a totally blank sheet. I almost wonder if I should put drops of hot water on the pegs, but I don't know.. What do u think? -Liz
Did you try putting cleaning solution into the pegs? Let the solution sit overnight to try to dissolve any blockage... You might also be able to use Isopropyl Alcohol instead, but close the pegs so the alcohol doesn't evaporate overnight.
I’ve try everything and my pages are blank I have a et15000 covert eco solvent I totally forgot about it a few months frist it black no color then a few colors on one purge sheet took it apart check clean took so ink out power ckean still nothing
I have a 4750 like the one in this video. I ran the print head check the second time and unplugged it...did the flush, then cleaned up and powered up again. Started getting error message saying that printer was not turned off correctly...told me to do print head check. Did check, no paper printed and unit shut off. I can't get it back on. Ideas?
Hey Brandon. Watched the video bought the kit. Heated liquid in water still could not push fluid through the printheads. I tried to do it slowly but couldn’t push it through -too much pressure. What else can I try?
You didn't do anything wrong that's totally normal. Just do another power cleaning and after that do deep cleaning through the settings and maintenance. That will bring back all of your color.
I did it, made sure everything was put right back together, did a power cleaning cycle, now i have blank pages, not even black will print anymore and that was the only color i had before i started
is it just me? or does the audio keep dropping out of this video?? I really want to hear what the printer guy is saying as I have this problem on this printer 😕
Is soaking the cleaning solution for about 15-30 minutes works? Example Putting a cleaning solution using syringe then wait for 15 minutes then pushing the remaining solution in the syringe
I performed the cleaning twice. After finishing, the black is not printing at all. I suspect the ink channel is empty, but what is the best way to fill it?
Hi Brandon -- I've run the cleaning 3 times on yellow and cyan on my Epson ET-4750 exactly according to your instructions, but it hasn't made any difference at all. I'm still getting NO color when I run a print head check. Also did a deep clean, but nothing seems to be working. The tanks are full. Any advice?
Okay, I have the ET-7700 what if you have done a power cleaning, cleaning the print head 3-4 times, and replaced the maintenance box? I am still getting blank colors. Now I will need to get another maintenance box for more power cleaning with no guarantee that will help. Now my printer is worse than before.
I have the ET-4750 printer. I also have the issue of no black ink printing. I was trying to do a Power clean first, before cleaning the printhead. When I tried doing the power clean, I received a message to replace my printer's Epson Maintenance Box first. When I checked its capacity, it is low. Are you familiar with the Epson maintenance box? If so, do you think that is reason why my black ink may not be working?
I have purchased the cleaning kit, flushed all the colors on the print head, then did a power cleaning. THe printer now prints blank pages. Its like the head is even more clogged than before. All the tanks are full, there is no ink being applied to the page when printing. Even the nozzle check page comes out blank
Do you have a video on cleaning the printheads on ecotank by Epson ET-3600? The colors and black now are printing in stripes as if there are 2 printheads and one works fine with all colors and the other skips everything. This was in the first series that came out and it is slightly different in little ways in all the ones you talk about. I still might be able to figure it from what I have already seen.
Now I’m nervous. I just got mine and was excited. Knowing this can happen concerns me. I think your creation is smart. I would fear voiding my warranty however.
That really would be a topic for another video and really out of the scope of what I’m doing here in this video but basically I would say to dip it in some type of alcohol or paint thinner and the process for that really you would have to come up with it on your own or unless there’s a video here on UA-cam.
@@BestPrinters the printer won't let me do a power cleaning, I think due to no ink detected. Is it a good idea to inject ink into the cartridges first? Btw I did a power clean right after the cleaning process
Hi, could you please kindly tell me, what is the diameter of the hose you use to insert the solution? I bought a cleaner a while ago but the tube is too thick. Thanks
I've read that tubing from a fish tank works. I have rc car gas tubing which seems too small but may work if used with patience as the flow may take longer to inject
ALOT messier than you made it look! Had to run cleaner and nozzle check multiple times (7) until it printed fine. Now will wait and see if it stays working fine. will update
My printer is not printing the color cyan and magenta. When I open it I saw that there’s no ink in the cartridge but there is a lot of ink in the tank. How can I fix it? Thank you!
I have an ET-4700. I cannot figure out how to open it up to get to the printhead assembly. There are no screws. Any suggestions? PPPPLLLEEAASSSEEEE!!!!!
I also have the ET-4700 and cannot figure out how to raise the large top piece which includes the glass scanning plate, and which you raise so casually on the 4750!
I just went through all of these steps with all of the colors except black. All three have been all over the place, so I went ahead and cleaned them. Now none of them are working. I'm at a loss.
Please do another cleaning only this time. Remove the cartridges and do a direct cleaning to the nozzles. Heres a link to a video where I show you how to do that, ua-cam.com/video/L1lCvMagC3Q/v-deo.html
My problem is that the black won't let me fill and I can't tell if there is ink in there or not, It's leaking from the bottom, can you help me with this??
Help please. I followed the steps and now the machine wont turn on. I didn't even add that much liquid. Can anyone help? Is it a fuse? Do I need a button sequence. Would it affect the cord and why would that affect the cord? I use only a tiny bit of liquid. What do I do?
i did all this and my printer when I try to print color, it has a big gap. all my leves are fine and when I print black I have no problem, how can I fix this?
Why did you not drain the cleaning solution out of the Head Tank because now you are diluting the ink when it is reintroduced back in all that cleaning solution. "Hello" "Hello"
Help please. I followed the steps and now the machine wont turn on. I didn't even add that much liquid. Can anyone help? Is it a fuse? Do I need a button sequence. Why would that affect the cord? What do I do?
Hi great video. Just wanted to ask a question before I do all of this: My printer worked fine for the year that I had it, but when I left the country I put into storage for a year. This was in northern Alabama so it ranged from very hot to below freezing for a couple months. I can survive without the other colors but black will not print. Cyan prints though oddly enough. Would this method work do you think? Thanks. I guess it's worth trying though vs buying a new one.
Hi, Thank for the video, it's very helpful. However, I have an Epson ET-3750, where the black ink tank appears to be completely empty, but I can't get ink to flow into the tank? I'm using a brand new genuine Epson 102 ink bottle, but it's just not flowing into the tank. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
I am having the same issue. I have an Epson ET2550. Cleaned out but can’t get ink to flow back up. Before the Print test and I had black and yellow missing segments and the blue didn’t come up at all. I cleaned it With the solution now it prints blank. Need help please
Just ordered the cleaning kit. Black is leaving smugges and smears all over my paper. Use the printer for sublimation prints and it gets used daily 10-20 prints a day.

After I cleaner the nozzles,.my eco tank no working , it shows a code 031006 . What is the Problem?
I use my Eason for cake printing so I’m following the same procedure but just using warm water. Have you had any experience with this?
I noticed you left the solution in there. Was that the case? Where does the solution go? Also having an issue filling the ink reservoir
The solution just drains through the printhead, that's why you have to put the paper towel underneath it. If there's a little left inside and the ink isn't coming through, you have to print until the colors come through.

how does the cleaning fluid drain from the cartridge? I suppose there would still be some fluid after the cyan stem is being reattached
With the power cleaning, that pushes the ink through the entire system thus flushing the cleaning fluid out also.

Hey Brandon. Watched the video bought the kit. Heated liquid in water still could not push fluid through the printheads. I tried to do it slowly but couldn’t push it through -too much pressure. What else can I try?
You can try leaving the syringe attached to the nozzle with some pressure for 6-12 hours. That should release the blockage.
I followed your video, ordered the kit. Then when I went to print no ink is coming out at all.
What do you think I need to do or did wrong.
You didn't do anything wrong that's totally normal. Just do another power cleaning and after that do deep cleaning through the settings and maintenance. That will bring back all of your color.

Hello. I'm trying to do this process on an ET4700 but don't know how to access the print head sice my scanner doesn't lift like the one on your video
Me too!
how do you remove the whole ink from the bottles to put different type of ink? please, thank you
Did the cleaning and replaced the maintenance box and 40 dollars later still does not work.
You will want to run a power cleaning.
what causes the tank to not fill when you install new ink?epson et 4750
Am having troube getting the tube on the syringe to fill it. Any suggestions?
It will fit, us a screwing motion to get it on.
I have purchased the cleaning kit, flushed all the colors on the print head, then did a power cleaning. THe printer now prints blank pages. Its like the head is even more clogged than before. All the tanks are full, there is no ink being applied to the page when printing. Even the nozzle check page comes out blank
You will need to run a power cleaning.
@@BestPrinters I did, no luck.
This video should be compatible with the et-3600.
I did this with my magenta which was giving me issues, but now it's not printing red or pink. It's more yellow toned. What am I doing wrong?
Unable to open my 4700 to get to the printheads! Frustrating! Lifting the top only reveals the glass
Now I’m nervous. I just got mine and was excited. Knowing this can happen concerns me. I think your creation is smart. I would fear voiding my warranty however.
As long as you keep your ink levels high this shouldn’t happen. Also this shouldn’t void the warrant. As long as everything is put back as it was.
What about Power cleaning warning that is bad for printer? why would they even create such option if
Its the only way, I am sorry.
@@BestPrinters Will do, is that or in the trash for brand new item, ridiculous how they made this flaw
I did the cleaning process and no colours are printing. Is there something else I can do!!??
Yes run a power cleaning after using the kit.
Will this work on a eco tank 15000?
Yes!
How can open my ET-4700? It is different from ET4850. I tried, but don't know how. Thanks
I have a et-3750 I want to clean it and put new ink. It sat in storage a long time. How do I clean it out and start fresh? Thanks
What if the print head doesn’t unlock? I have ET15000
Print something and it will unlock then power off.
So what if the tubing has dried paint
That really would be a topic for another video and really out of the scope of what I’m doing here in this video but basically I would say to dip it in some type of alcohol or paint thinner and the process for that really you would have to come up with it on your own or unless there’s a video here on UA-cam.
After flushing the head, my printer doesn't suck new ink into it. It's empty. How do I fix this?
Run a power cleaning that will cycle the ink back into the system.
@@BestPrinters the printer won't let me do a power cleaning, I think due to no ink detected. Is it a good idea to inject ink into the cartridges first?
Btw I did a power clean right after the cleaning process
I cannot get the printer tube to fit into the hose
It is a tight fight, use a screwing motion to fit it over the nozzle.
Hi, could you please kindly tell me, what is the diameter of the hose you use to insert the solution? I bought a cleaner a while ago but the tube is too thick. Thanks
I don’t have the exact measurement. However the hose is small and fits tight around the Eco Tank models ink nozzles.
I've read that tubing from a fish tank works. I have rc car gas tubing which seems too small but may work if used with patience as the flow may take longer to inject
ALOT messier than you made it look! Had to run cleaner and nozzle check multiple times (7) until it printed fine. Now will wait and see if it stays working fine. will update
Thanks for sharing
My printer is not printing the color cyan and magenta. When I open it I saw that there’s no ink in the cartridge but there is a lot of ink in the tank. How can I fix it? Thank you!
I have an ET-4700. I cannot figure out how to open it up to get to the printhead assembly. There are no screws. Any suggestions? PPPPLLLEEAASSSEEEE!!!!!
If there is no obvious way to open the printer cap then dont do it. Just try to run as many power cleanings as possible.
I also have the ET-4700 and cannot figure out how to raise the large top piece which includes the glass scanning plate, and which you raise so casually on the 4750!
Very interesting and helpful Thanks for the info.
Glad it was helpful!
How do you open it?
The top portion of the printer will lift up.
Hi, Thanks for the video, it helped great. Do you have any experience of carrying out a similar clean on an Epson DiscProducer PP100ll?
Does your ink tanks need to be empty?
Ink tanks actually need to be full.
You need to wait 24 hrs to try and power back on. If it doesnt power back on there may be damage to the printer.
@@BestPrinters So, if thats the case can it be a simple fuse? I am decent at taking things apart and stuff. What should I try to pin point and fix?
Got waste ink pad full issue. How do I correct that please.
Do you know there are portions of the audio MISSING???
Please provide timestamps and open a new comment when you reply. That'll be a great help thank thank you.
this is very good 😌 i like this idea.

i did all this and my printer when I try to print color, it has a big gap. all my leves are fine and when I print black I have no problem, how can I fix this?
Why did you not drain the cleaning solution out of the Head Tank because now you are diluting the ink when it is reintroduced back in all that cleaning solution. "Hello" "Hello"
Video to clean the tank ?
Tanks usually dont need to be cleaned.
will this work on an ET-4700
Yes
@@BestPrinters No, unless you can somehow raise the large top piece
Cleaned my head with a kit no ink coming through did a power flush still no ink coming through any ideas
Sorry I wasn’t able to get to you message. Please create a new comment with the same question if you still need a response. Thank you!

Has anyone tried to place a part of a plastic bag under the paper towel to prevent the mess at the end?
Yes
I am not able to unlock my print head, Its blinking in the inki indicator . My model is L210 Epson inktank printer
I enjoyed how you explained the cleaning. But IMO your instructions shouldn’t have ended there.
Ok
Worked great!! thanks man!
Great to hear!
Yes, that is exactly what this kit is meant to fix.
Hey I'm having the same problem now. Did you guys find a solution?
What if you accidentally fill the wrong tank? How do you empty/clean tank
Just ordered the cleaning kit. Black is leaving smugges and smears all over my paper. Use the printer for sublimation prints and it gets used daily 10-20 prints a day.
