It finally happened! I went to a thrift store, saw a box of games they hadn’t put out yet, took your advice and politely asked if I could take a look at any games they hadn’t put out yet, and scored huge on a bunch of first party Wii games. They also threw in a Wii manual because I asked if in could buy it.
Quick question: Have you considered purchasing a van? Would you not be able to get one, convert half of it into sleeping quarters (to save on hotel costs), whilst also having more room than you would in the Prius?
Gas for a van would make all the trips to these far away game stores n pawn shops a lot more of an expense for him. I haven't heard of a hybrid or electric van, is their one?
We totally believe that Switch pickup. The best pickup of the day ALWAYS ends up being the only one we couldn't record for some silly reason lol. Great road trip so far!
I grew up in Tennessee and would always go to the Great escape in Nashville, loved that store always had gems in it good to see they are still up and running brought back nostalgia for sure.
Oh my goodness that u-haul is huge! Im interested on how your going to fill up the u-haul full of games though as it’s huge!! But I am ecstatic to see how! Can’t wait!
Love your work and anything Gamecube! Just an idea, install a overland roof rack and or a trailer hitch on your car. U Haul can even weld the hitch on your car then Homedepot has large plasticstorage bins that are waterproof and able to be locked up on a luggage rack.
stop 6 that guy didnt seem to happy..and then yea the lady " youre gonna have to leave backpack up front" .. but seemed like some great scores! cant wait to see more!
If this is something your gonna do more often (my guess is that your local shops are either selling outta there higher margin stock and you need to go further affield while they restock) you should look into getting a bigger electric/hybrid vehicle just for the business (you can probably tax write off a decent wedge of the fuel costs/running and maintenance if Tax law over there is anything like the UK)
im jealous by all the retro stores you find we got nothing like that around here every time you walk into one all I see is my personal heaven lol ps. some stores do that with the whole backpack thing to prevent theft witch sadly is more common now then ever its understandable given the circumstances of how often it happens 🤷

I've been to Game Trader several times in Madison, Tennessee and thats where I got my issues of Nintendo power and the Nintendo official player's guides from too!
You were steady in Madison, Inglewood, and East Nashville. Every pawn shop you went into, has the worst customer service, and NONE of them will wiggle, or negotiate with you. I go to these pawn shops all the time and make better deals outside.
Not gonna lie, that switch pick up was solid. Haven't been as luck with my goodwill hunts for consoles. Last I saw were wiis and a xbox 360, but they were asking retailed used for just the brick systems which is not worth. However game wise best find was mk2 for genesis. You seriously make me wanna hit up my local pawns, but usually my pawns charge high price.
Stop #2 Game Trader; was this in Rivergate (just outside of Nashville TN)? This was one of my OG game stores growing up and I couldn't help but recognize the location. I haven't been back to my home state in almost 8 years, so it was super cool to see it pop up in a video like this. Keep up the dope content!
omg loving this series even if ur not going to a convention u should mkae this like a monthly weekend trip thing or like 3 months ! keep up the good profit
That was a well put together presentation. Do items generally sell for the highest end list price on Amazon? And if so, how long do you have to sit on all of it?
Hey Caleb! Recently found your channel and have been binging through all your videos. I saw you used to do a lot of Gamestop resale but I haven't seen a new one in a while. Did I miss a video where you explain why you moved away from that? Or do you still do Gamestop and I just totally missed that lol

It’s Hyundai
Said that when he sold the other car too xD
Probably gas prices right now convince him not to
That’d be the best idea imo

Thank you! I’m excited to watch the video!
I always appreciate you making your videos and bring us on your advantures.

That game trader on stop 2 was my childhood store. Countless memories there for me!

Might be worth getting a hitch installed on the prius next time, so you can pull a small trailer from uhaul
that's the move, he could rent a bigger vehicle when he gets down here if needed.
Game Trader is local to Tennessee iirc, they have one in Murfreesboro TN as well if you are ever in that area.
Imagine this series as an IRL livestream, so much fun
cody does the irl STREAMS he owns pink gorilla games in Seattle. he drives around the west coast stopping at thirft stores game shops etc IRL

You can buy my collection and fill the van top to bottom and front to back! Been building since the early 90s.
Just a thought on your next trip. Take Your car. Make your purchases on the way. Then mail them to yourself. Much cheaper.
