A very simple yet comprehensive short video of how we see things wrongly.Truly our desires & aspirations in life causes us not to appreciate LIFE! Thank you for this video. God bless you guys!
the cups are such an unusual paradigm to the choices we have in life. As a short and not such a brilliantly attractive person, i have never felt judged, neglected or dejected! let us see the cups for what they really are and embrace the beauty in each and we will be too busy writing poetry on the coffee rather than harping on the gold trimming round the rim of the cups. cheers to goodness and the wisdom of sages.....thank you for the beautiful clip.
This made me cry very beautiful &enlightening. Thanks makes me think about the SIMPLE THINGS in life are the most important because when you do the BIG things take care of themselves & GOD is so important too. Thanks for that GREAT CUP OF COFFEE.
Life is like a Cup of Coffee. So true indeed! We r just running after the money, fame and wealth but we never enjoy it at all. Thanks for this great one.
I ran across this myself about the same time an sent it to different friends...We have to be happy and we don't need a lot of gold to be happy.. we do need to love each other and care deeply....
I drink my coffee in steel tumbler, however I loved looking at all those beautiful cups. On my part, I appreciate the beauty of stuff but never bother to possess them. I loved the video.👍👍👍
I don't care what I drink my coffee in as long as the container is clean and the coffee hot and strong. I'm not caring about the negative remarks. Who cares what you drink it in...I just love my mug. The pretty ones can stay in china cabinet for guest.
That also remind me of many patients in hospitals always look forward to so good wards, beds, nice & beautiful foods, instead of good treatments and short stays.
Thank you so much for sharing this wonderful and powerful message. I’ve learned in life, that material things are not really important and give thanks to God every day for what He has given me and don’t worry about the little I need. I realized long ago that we come into this life with nothing and leave the same way.
this is definitely so true.. the cups are things that we want but don't actually make us happy. for example, you may be jealous of a friends job, car, phone or house. you could save up money and buy the same car as them but once you've got it, you don't actually feel any better than you did before.
Nice to know.. But people become Good or bad habit without coffee specially morning indeed. Life is an ever changing process, and nothing is final, therefore, each moment and every day new day.. is a chance to begin. Good morning in my time timing watching this awesome video. Peace on earth.
"sometimes, by concentrating only on the cup, we fail to enjoy the coffee". from that sentence i thought to myself it means that, if you only want the goods, you're not enjoying your life. you're thinking too much of big things for your entertainment. love the little things because they are the best ones....... i love it (y)(y)
I agree...its contributes a lot learnings in life...but its more comfortable to use the nice cup than the thin one...because it s hot...if there is an available..i have to use it..
This was great lesson! Years ago, my best friend and I met for "coffee" on my porch. We agreed most of the world's problems could be solved with friendship, respect and love. 🫂🕊⚘ Haven't changed my mind a bit decades later. 😊 Ret educator ✝️ 🌳 🐾
My job is a street sweeper, i sip my coffee in an ordinary a plastic cup..i don't have stress in my job after i've finish my work 5am to 1pm..i'm going home to my family..
yes but we are not all given the same coffee are we...some of us are getting it cold, some are getting instant and some are getting it with cream and sugar and a bit of liquor. Yes, we should all be grateful for life but we are not all getting the same quality of life are we......Myself...I had never minded instant coffee but lately I have afforded some freshly roasted beans and I gotta say.... I sure am enjoying coffee more.
Because if we all had the same, we would be a communist country. We don't. We live in a capitalist country which revolves around money. You need it to survive and do anything. You wouldn't even be able to buy a cup of coffee without money. You can also donate your money to charity and building new schools to make other people's lives better. So the saying is wrong. Money does buy happiness, if spent in the right way.
You are missing the point. Yes, you need to get a cup and drink the coffee. The point is that you should not focus on getting the most expensive cup, or at least more expensive than others. Instead, focus on enjoying all kinds of coffee. Getting a better cup comes after
Thank you, So beautiful video, that really makes one thinks twice! Sadly, some people are so ungrateful!!! They just can't see something beautiful and positive and make a small change in their hearts, at least! They are so ungrateful even to the Creator, that gave them the coffee, the life! They think they just like that are alive... Out of nowhere and nothing.... because they "deserved it".... Oh poor deceived people.... Their small and cruel hearts just CAN'T understand that The Creator, our God, gives the sun and the rain, and to the good ones, and to the bad(ungrateful) ones... We all got coffee.. Some of us better, some of us cheaper one... The happiness isn't coming because you have better coffee... But it is for sure coming if you know how to appreciate and enjoy the Coffee/Life you got!!!! It is difficult, right? Because this cruel world press us with standards: I must have this, I have to have that.... It's all vanity, as the wise Solomon says! Greetings to all and be thankful cause you got the coffee and you still drink it!!! :-)
Well in the book I am busy righting, I have written a something motivational about a cup of coffee, very different from this one, just because I love coffee so much. And now this resonates well with me . Best motivation indeed.
Ever notice, that the ones who have nicer cups.. Hangout with those with also nice cups.. Those with ugly cups, hangout with the ones with ugly cups. Much like life, we all have life.. But it truly is, the 'nice' things that have historically defined your position in society and having choices to do things that allow you to express your life fully. That is why we all go for the nice cup. It may not be logical im comparison to the things that should matter but that is life.
I agree; the drama is optional. If we take the time to slowly enjoy each and every minute of every experience, we will reduce the level of stress that is sometimes part of those experiences. During those stressful moments when we believe there is no way out; imagine being on top of a surfboard, gliding over those waves gracefully - the tide will no doubt decrease and settle throughout the day; just stay afloat, and enjoy the ride...
I agree but being myself I would have liked making pleasant conversation over why each chose the cup they did .. a personality fun thing .. I like to enjoy my coffee everyday in a cup that is just right for me to enjoy it in.. don't you? And we like to enjoy making our own blends to drink, serve and enjoy!
Softly, I Fade. Sweet, gentle music fills my earplugs. My voice allows it's flow from my mouth - with sound. Softly, I Fade away. The words filling my thoughts. Filling my heart. Filling my soul. I cry. I think to myself, I am alone. I am alone in a house filled with people. Ones who have compassion. Ones who sees my lips move- watch me, watching them. No response. Am I invisible? Softly I fade away. The earplugs loosen, falling down my chest. My hand lay over my muted hearing vessel. My heart skips a beat. Then two. Then three, then four. Then...Softly, I fade away. by Paulette Shaw Currie. 12.07.2017
That's best of Life...things come things go ...values are here to stay...if we appreciate the inner values the monitory values become secondary....something that experiences teach us.,,
I like to drink my coffee in a cup and saucer. I like ceramic cups. I don't enjoy drinking my coffee in mugs or plastic cups. That's how I savour my coffee. I give importance to little things to add flavour to my life.
Facts should be accepted and its awareness must be with us through out our life But we can't overlook the fact that almost all of them have gone for expensive and beautiful cubs.So outward appearance counts in this material world.
I liked this video for many reasons. but I will only tell you 1. you see, I do not like money, fame, welth, or glory. for those things only hide the true face of onece real self. I rather ignore all of that. I rather have memories and nothing els, than everything, and not have a single memory. tho me, everything but a single memory is a living hail. that is why I liked. I have one more thing to say. Long live the pianer.
I usually pick a sturdy one, not the prettiest or best. I only do not want to spill it, nor break anything good. Just a cup big enough that I don't need to go back for more. It can be Styrofoam. (Plastic melts, puts out gases.) Disposable is good; it can be rinsed out to use again, but it's not indispensable. I prefer coffee to the cup it's in.
@elnino0ooo I agree. Also, it is proven that the type of cup we drink from or how decorated food or drink is, the "better" it tastes (psychologically). This is a beautiful message but a bit of an obscure metaphor.
Very inspiring..this is reality! inorder to be happy there should be contentment...treasure what you have know, live for the moment because the best things in life are free! :D Godbless to each and everyone

Coffee is the best when you don't have to work for it.

Quotes are great. But don't,preach what you don't practice. Otherwise your still the same, old hippocrite and just sound wise but really a shithead
this z really great an upload ......
thx a ton
Nice story. The message is a good one, though I think taking care of God's creation by choosing to use a reusable cup is a wiser choice.
Beautiful!!!
NO TRUER WORDS SAID.
