Notwithstanding the question of the union flag only properly being referred to as a union jack when flown from the jackstaff of a ship, and at a stretch at home the blue sea of ibrox making the question academic, union jack butland is still appropriate as a name even away from home, for butland is constantly all at sea. Butland's angles and positioning is always all wrong, and both goals at Paisley showed this. "Goalkeeping is 99% positioning." ~peter shilton. The last three goals kyogo, the classic penalty box striker, has scored against him have all been from outside the box-a first time volley, a left foot high placement and a pass into the net from 25 yards. Kyogo has grasped butland is always too far back on his line, his positioning terrible as he does not narrow the angle. The second goal at paisley and the goal in the scottish cup final also showed this clearly. Butland is poor at the most basic tenet of goalkeeping. Clement, regarding Butland, needs to balance all, bring all to mind, the goals he lost seem waste of breath, a waste of breath the games behind.

He is too far of his line if he was closer to his line he would be saving kyogo s shots no watching them go in the net but you know that much about positioning you will know every keeper in modern football gets beat too easy because they are always too far of there line
@stewartbalmer1515 Being on your line allows the gaps to the cirners. Being further out narrows the angle and prevents this. That is a basic of goalkeeping.

I'll have the battle fever back on tomorrow, no doubt, but right now the battle is, as you say, again all about fellow Teds wanting us to punt the manager. His gamble with Raskin was totally understandable but, yeah, the fact we need Nico's superhuman current form to play in any way effectively is raising legitimate concerns about Clement's tactics. I'm going to opt for this return to dross being more about the paucity of our squad but we'll need to at least see PC's first OF victory next Thursday to convince others of same. Though I'll also take that special Cup double you mentioned.

Ah nice one, Kenneth. Cheers, sir. And I wouldn't expect a law man to be on any other sherry. Enjoy👍
All this talk of mythology begs the question...has Big Phil come to the end of this saga? Hope not...i like his manic pressers...☘️🍺
Manic de-pressers. Manic Street Pressers. I'm viking sick of it! But he's composing his Skaldic poem to Paddy bloodaxe Stewart as we speak and will go pyoor Thor on Thor's Day.
@FatEck1999 😀😀😀
my father vwas in the royal navy durin the war and always told me that the union jack is only when at sea
That's the best source I've heard yet, John. Thanks very much for that, sir.
@FatEck1999 cheers eck
Talking about Butland "makin' a complete arse o' it" maks me think that his name is a bit "arsey" - y'know Butland .... Ah know there's one t missin' but still sounds "arsey". - Jack Arseland ?! surname probably originated in Japan - land of the rising bum ! - Jist a thought; proves ye mak us think Eck - strange thoughts, but thoughts nevertheless. - I've been drinking since the final whistle (I'm sure you guessed that) and the time noo in Georgia USA is 7:45 pm on Friday night. So, I'm puggled and mibbe a wee bit schizophrenic !
Brian. I am stone, cold, sober and 100% tuned-in to what you're saying. A very good point very well made as far as I'm concerned. Turn the other cheek, Jack - give yerself a kick up the butt and stop making an arse of it and bum up on penalty saves rather than penalty shots. Rogerio Cerni or Jouse Luis Chilavert you are not!
I marched through Georgia in April this year. On the way from Chatanooga back to Nashville. Well, I drove through, for approximately thirty seconds, but it was a nice feeling to be in that state - and, later tonight, I plan to be in the same state you were in while in that state!😆🍻
@@FatEck1999 Brillyunt Eck, as expected - I cannae compete wi' a man that aye gets tae the bottom o' things, an' wi' sic a masterful use of innuendo. When I was a young man, I thought Innuendo was a Mexican homosexual. - Oh, and not wishing to be pedantic (I hate Pedants - used tae think they were Peasants wi' a hair lip) but unlike Butland there's two T's in Chattanooga!
Oh, and don't get in a real state - Ca canny, for you need to be WELL enough to deliver a WELL rounded post-match reaction to Gers WELL deserved victory ower the WELL. 🤞
@@FatEck1999 Brillyunt rebuttal as I would expect. I cannae compete wi' a man who knows how to get tae the bottom o' things.
All at sea 🌊
Flapping
He's drinking at the last chance saloon.... Another defeat to Motherwell and or celtic and he will not survive
I'd be interested to know if Patrick Stewart's on board with the "rebuild" narrative, regarding this season as a write-off, or if he's wanting to make his own mark by getting oot the big axe. As you say, we might find out soon enough.
This man is very ill.
Some mistake genius for madness. He’s the only sports podcaster I avidly listen to. Knowledge, passion, stream of consciousness, self deprecation, psychology, analogies, musical appreciation…and football history. Not even my team but never miss it. Stick around, you never know what smorgasbord he’ll serve. Brilliant and I only use that term when it’s deserved.
@@lightningtree5432 I agree completely with your appraisal of Eck's brilliance. The only pod that can salve my wounds after a Christmas stuffing.
@@lightningtree5432 Absolutely, just ask Spike Milligan admirers.
Pissed as a newt.lol😂

Thanks, Dave. Another good reason for me to bin the season ticket. Hairy New Year!
You must have been 4 the last time the zombies won anything
@@Ratatata24IDwell they got to No.12 with "She's not there" a few years before I was born. By the time I was around they'd split up but they might have received a lifetime achievement award or something when I was 4.
How did you feel when we took away your precious 10IAR? It’ll take you 4 decades to get over it even still
Eat the parsons nose😂
This is the type of guy you don’t want to end up talkin to in a pub. Wan a they mr know-it-all people that can’t shut up, spurtin out futile garbage he picked up in books over the years, desperate to get it all out at once.
@@Gallagate Dad! I told you at Christmas dinner - if you don't like it you don't need to watch it!
You mean Faddy or Sutton🤡🤡
Whereas you take your dug or “wife” to the pub clearly, and forcing her buckfast as well, need her took off you methinks
The majority of what was said in this video has nothing to do with the game that was played it is just waffling talking for no reason
Oh, there's a reason, Paul. You better believe there's a reason...
Great, innit?
Just talked pish for ages.
That’s what makes this guy special, very entertaining if you don’t like, don’t listen.
@michaelmccreery8192 Yeh i couldn't agree more, it's what makes him special.
And how do you know this, Monty? Please don't tell me you listened for ages?
I But you tuned into listen. But your lack of education you wouldn't know what he s Talking about anyway chummy
@FatEck1999 I had a good old binge yesterday with my Quality St, and a curse of mine is that i do watch all videos from start to finish.
