House of the Dragon - Through the Lens of - EXPECTATIONS

House of the Dragon has some quite large expectations to live up to following the ending of Game of Thrones. Does the show have what it takes to survive when the fanbase has already been let down once?
We'll be taking a look at both real world and in universe examples of how expectations influence every single decision made when first creating the show, but then also how the characters and story march its way through it's rendition of "A Dance with Dragons" hopefully without slippling along the way.
