This was actually really helpful! I'm in the middle of making my first animation and there aren't very many tutorials since 2D blender is so new, but this told me what I needed to know! Thank you, I love how organized this video was.
Thank you for the work you put into these. This covered a lot of territory I knew already, but you are so thorough and logical in presentation that I still picked up some nice tips. I find your English is easy to understand, FWIW.
This is very cool to hear! Important for me is to make nice flow through the video and present it even for beginners in a nice way. Thank you for passing by!
Thank you so much! This has been really helpful and just what I needed. Can you please make a separate playlist for all the grease pencil related videos? Would be much appreciated ❤️
Great overview, i am more on the 3D side but is helpful and will be used in the future. Small error in the description in the timetable in sculpt mode.
Good afternoon! Thank you very much for the video tutorials. At minute 6-55, you draw a line on frame 20 and it appears on all subsequent and previous frames. I can't do this in a blender: ((I've already reviewed your lesson many times, it doesn't work ((Please tell me what exactly I need to do to make it work like this? maybe put a check mark somewhere?
8:13: adding a static line: how does that work? I see another layer gets added, but it's a bit unclear to me how this was done. Thanks: I've found this very helpful and the time-stamping in particular is helpful out here in viewerland.
Just gave me an idea - OpenVdb clouds or explosions mixed in with grease pencil animation (where there is some distance between some of the drawing planes)
Hey dude plz plz tell me. How did you added glow to a single layer. I am in the middle of my animation and just couldn't figure out what to do. So kindly help me.
How did you put both "Stroke" and "Stroke.001" under the same summary at 4:14? I don't think you explained that in the 'interface' video you referenced, but maybe I missed it. Edit: Nevermind, the timeline only shows entries with keyframes, adding a "stroke" instead of blank showed both.
hi sir, how to jump between keyframes that located in different layers? i guess it doesn't turn on by default. I would like to use it for outlining my sketch that were keyframed on different layers.
Hi. with regards to the masking section of your video. I'm using version 2.83 and the overlay option is not in the blend mode. Is this something that has to be enabled, or has it just been removed?
The perfect tutorial to start with grease pencil in my opinion. Thank you
Best animations tutorial video for starters

This answered almost all my questions, now I just have to buy a drawing tablet.
Get one with bluetooth and a battery free stylus. Horizon has one with a 40 hour tablet battery at around 75 bucks.
Man merkt die Leidenschaft. Eure Videos sind immer hochqualitativ!
Danke Xaver :)
So helpful. Some stuff has changed with interpolation, it appears, in 2.3, but I got the gist of it and made it work. Thank you again!

Your tutorial is perfect and very clear. Hugely useful. Thank you so much for the time and effort you have put into this.
Scared how good this tutorial is.
😅 Thank you! :)
Thank you! Exactly what I needed!
For those who have trouble with "cannot find valid keyframes" interpolation put your marker between keyframes instead of next keyframe itself
Excellent tutorial. Helps a lot.
Many Thanks, once again, for sharing your knowledge.

@@25games you wrote scrulpt Mode instead of sculpt mode.
Ah ok! That's it. Need to be more precise... :/

Very Brief video. Looking for some more
Maybe this is the answer to stop me from animating on Photoshop finally
I feel like the fish from American Dad giving a tutorial on animation.

why doesn't blender render background image in that method 12:38 ?
HELPP!! For some unknown reason my drawings are partially transparent even though I set 'Opacity' to 1

→ 1 frame forward
← 1 frame backward
Shift+→ end frame
Shift+← start frame
↑ next keyframe
↓ previous keyframe
⎈ Ctrl⇧ Shift→ next marker
⎈ Ctrl⇧ Shift← previous marker
Shift+↑ 10 frames forward
Shift+↓ 10 frames back

I didn't enabled any addon or extra functions. I need to check this.
@@25games Thanks.
hi can anyone help with copying frame i cant do it
You still wanna know?
Can you draw using a tablet on grease pencil?
Hey. Sorry, I don't get your question. What exactly do you want to know?
Yes you can use a Tablet to draw & sketch in Grease Pencil
@Matthew Barnes yes you can
I wish someone could talk abut a simple 2d animation, the steps to make a man walk 😌🤔
Fabi?
Classic "Bug Bunny" style animation was done at 12fps. HALF the work. Just sayin'.
You mean working on 2's at 24fps
I cant understand
What was not understandable?
Holy crap that accent LMAO
