The wind before the thunderstorm in Kingston today was crazy! I swore it looked tornado-ish at one point. So much dust blew in my eyes, I am almost blind. LOL!

Rusty - landing in Cancun on June 29th morning time. Looks like the first tropical storm is a little south of Cancun on late Saturday Sunday morning. I'm more worries about the 2nd 3rd one after this.
Agreed that circulation will be south, if it forms. But, Cancun is going to have a fresh east, onshore wind, and it’s going to be wet. We’ll deal with the other disturbances (if necessary) in that area as the picture becomes clear down the road. Safe travels. -Rusty

@@weatherjamaica yes it did in my area ,the winds blow,rain fall ten minutes tops then the sun came out again ,it got over cast a couple more time in the afternoon but never start falling again where i am till 11:30pm,
I taught we got a surprise hurricane in Jamaica 😅 wind shear at Airport in Kingston at least one flight diverted to Montego bay
So many comments about the incredible wind. As you saw, Kingston had a 49mph gust, but I’m sure some areas around the city were even higher. Thanks for the report. -Rusty

Rusty, any Future Trends in the up-coming weeks that would pose more favorable tracks to our area here in the North Central Gulf of MX area and namely the New Orleans Metro? I'm in a West suburb of Metro Nola here in Metairie, Louisiana
As these systems get into the Gulf it will all depend what is happening at that time. High pressure over SE pushed the storms into Mexico. A change with a trough in west Gulf would allows storms to move north. -Rusty

Bermuda high not a factor yet. It’s already unusual to see these waves coming off the West African coast with so much vigor. Might be one of those years to throw the “normal pattern” our the window.
