What a great video! You captured the aesthetic of the Evora so well and, where it shines brightest-on a twisty road (well, that or the track). To the 12-year-old who commented that the Evora is just an overpriced MR2, I can say that as a previous owner of a gen 2 Toyota MR2 for 25 years, and since then two Evoras, while they look similar on paper the MR2 doesn’t drive anywhere near as well as an Evora. And the seven seconds per lap differential at Mid-Ohio between my old MR2 and my Evora 400 only hammers the point down a little further. Thanks again for posting the video and I look forward to more like it!
I’m glad I was able to do it justice, it’s so overlooked and one of my personal favorite cars. Nice that you’re putting it to use on a track, thanks for watching!
The owner of this one has actually ordered an Emira and is completely torn on which is preferred after driving the Emira. They thought the Evora has a more raw and rough Lotus feel while the Emira is more technologically advanced. Both are incredible cars, thanks for watching!
I have one and love it!! I modified and tuned mine on a dyno. It's got 504bhp and 403rwt. It's a screamer and very fast. You are in Florida (so am I) where is that road?
Toyota Supra Vs Lotus Evora GT? Why not, since Toyota makes the V6, for this Lotus, and the fact, that Toyota, teamed up, with BMW, to do the Supra....
Sure, similar concept, but with almost triple the power. The exterior and interior are decades further advanced and are incredibly high end. Suspension is far more capable and just all around a much better car in every way. The MR2 is great and has many of the same attributes, but my take would be the Evora earns every bit more that it can cost. Thanks for watching!

Great review--sums this car up perfectly-IMO the true swansong Lotus
Much appreciated! Its a shame this car doesn’t get more credit for sure
What a beauty
Every time I hear the Evora gt it makes me think it’s as good as the Emira.

Seemed like a reasonable question to me. Why won't you tell me?
THat's an airbass valve not a throttle. It is still cool to see though.

Haven’t had the chance to drive a supra, but it’s a worthy consideration with most being about $30k cheaper than the last of the Evora GT models
So basically, it's an overpriced MR2.

By that logic a 911 is an “overpriced Volkswagen.”
@user-360johnn it's pretty much the rich man's vw beetle.
