I love your video very easy to follow so I am making 2 cross wreaths for a grave, one white and yellow and one white and blue will use your method for sure . Thank you very much for sharing this great instructional video..
Love, love, love it!!! SO glad to see a cross, and so simply but gorgeous to make! Kathy, your video has got to be one of the best I've seen on UA-cam for a tutorial. Thank you SO much for making it and sharing all! ~ Blessings to you and yours ~
Thank you Kathy for the wonderful video. I want to make a couple of these to have on hand for quick gifts. I couldn't find where to print off the directions. So I had to play your video over a few times to catch the method. I too watched for the dollar tree crosses to come online, and yesterday, 02/24/2021 they became available. Thank you again.
@@kathyallenRWD233 thanks, I am not on facebook , but I was able to find it. Thank you, I am going to start one for a friends Aunt who has been stuck in her nursing home room for almost a year due to Covid. Thought this in a light lilac and white might bring a smile to her.
Hi from San Antonia lm enjoying you doing your beautiful wreath thanks for instructions easy to follow. I'm planning on making a white and lavender.Youre such an inspiration.
Kathy u did an amazing job. I love love it . I’m going to try to make one and ur husband is an amazing helper. Thank you for sharing 🤗 From Dunkirk NY 🤗💖
Love your wreath. I’m making one. I cannot find your page to print off the placement of the zip ties on the cross form. Nor can I find anymore videos made by you. How many white did you cut and how many burgundy. I called myself counting but I have to cut more. Thank you for sharing your talent
A friend of my wants me to make her a cross for her daughter's grave she got killed ln a car accident last year.. I can't find any of the crosses anywhere. Yours is beautifully made. Love it❤😊
Thank you so much. Did you get my layout sheet for the cross yet? If not go to Facebook and look for Ribbon and Wire Designs, I have pinned to the top of my page. So sorry your friend lost her daughter.
It was interesting and the cross came out great. Your husband is funny too and your dog is sweet and I pray that your dog will be healed in Jesus Name, Amen. You are a blessed family. :)
@@kathyallenRWD233 we just made this love it. Thank you so much. Made them for parents grave. We were wondering if we could get you to show us a video of how you cut the deco mesh cuz art gets sprayed at the end so then we end up going around and having to trim it up a little bit here and there thank you so much for your help and your time and your patience and everything with us. Could you do a video to show us please.
First, thanks for watching my video. Mesh will always end up fraying, so you can use a wood burner to cut your mesh. I used a12 Inch Impulse Bag Sealer at the time I made this cross, but I find the wood burner easier. Another thing about the fraying is the less you handle the mesh after assembly the less fraying you get. Y hope this helps you.
Oh my gosh!!! That's so beautiful!!! I've never made a wreath before but I'm willing to try this one for my baby grandaughter's grave.. Thanks for making it look simple and doable!!!! Will you be uploading anymore videos with you doing the saddles & Angel wings that you mentioned during this video? Thank you so much for sharing!!! You have a blessed day and stay safe!!!!
I want to do a saddle soon. I have to wait for my hubby to help because the recording keeps stopping on me. The angel wings I won't be doing because it is not creation. I bought the videos and was told we can not do them. But I did see angel wing boards that I can do once I buy the board. I can do a video on that.
Very good instructions, however, you cant' see your hands when you hold the cross up toward you. The area darkens and you can't see what you are doing with your hands and you need to point your camera upwards when you hold the cross up to view it. Can only see the bottom. Lovely cross.
@@kathyallenRWD233 Hi Kathy, your cross is stunning. I know it's your first video however it was dark and I couldn't see a lot of what you were doing. I do love the fact that you give placement with your graph and give measurements. Thank you for posting this.

This is absolutely gorgeous 😍 1 question did you use a hot knife to cut it So it doesn't fray on the ends? If not how did you cut it? And what do you do to keep from the ends fraying ?
Love the cross I have finished 2 and working on the third one. Our Dollar Tree did not get the cross frames so I am using the cooling racks from Dollar Tree. What is the length of you cross?
Thank you for loving my cross. It is 19" tall and 12" wide. You can post pictures on my Facebook page. I would love to see them. facebook.com/ribbonandwiredesigns
I m going to cut it fromthe green garden wire. It's in half in squares . The four arms of the cross are 2 inches or 4 squares wide. Cut as close as possible . IM going to put dots of hot glue on the little nubs where the lines intersect on the outer edges
I use a wood burner tool now. I did use a heat sealer, but find the wood burner better. Now when using deco mesh, it will fray no matter what you do, so the less you handle it the less it will fray plus using the wood burner will make it fray less. I hope this helps.
