Hello! I have a question: I have a honda civic vi 1.4is 90hp ma fastback 1997( England) D14A2 which wears a metal cylinder head gasket, and I want to replace it with a graphite gasket from D15B2. When I tighten the head bolts I will tighten with the tightening torque it gives for D14A2 as it had the metal gasket the same with the graphite gasket at 30N.m and 64N.m? Should I tighten it with a different torque because it is made of graphite and not metal and is made of D15B2? And if so, with what torque?
@DOCTORHONDA Hello doctor honda!! Did you find any information about the N.m torque of the honda civic D14A2 head bolts with the conversion I want to do from a metal flange to a graphite flange? If you couldn't answer me, it doesn't matter!
@ Hello, you must adjust to the indicated torque. Warm up the vehicle to operating temperature, let it cool completely, loosen all bolts a quarter turn and readjust again to the indicated torque.
