Fun Fact: The "kisses" scene with his boys wasn't scripted, Jim Carrey improvised, expecting the other three to crack up and instead they rolled with him, the director thought is was too good to leave out.
Also, what I love about this movie is that Jim Carrey comes out and attacks anyone that makes him angry, but he never once comes out when his kids are around. He loves his three black sons and is never angry with them. It's just too wholesome.

Not really. In Living Color had some great moments and burst out of the gate quickly, but fell off quickly too....and its does not match the very best of SNL.
I learned from Asia & BJ's podcast that he and I are the same age - BJ knows his pop culture history so props to him!

I don’t know if anyone mentioned this but in 1985 , he wrote himself a cheque for 10 million and dated for 10 years in the future and then just before thanksgiving in 1995 he made 10 million for dumb and dumber. Hes just such an interesting person besides being incredibly talented.
Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind is a serious role one of his best performances as well

I was 8 when my dad brought this home from Blockbuster to watch with my grandma. My dad had a blast and my grandma was not happy lol This one always has a good memory with it for me.

@@warrenstemphly5756cool parents who love their kids and spend time together watching movies or European parents. one of my earliest memories was when i was 4 watching this movie where a few friends in one car drive by a woman with a flat tire. one guy jumps out to help. the other friends later drive by coming back and see them having sex. she was topless sticking out the sun roof. one of the friends says "i guess he really gave her a pump" or something like that. i got the joke even at 4.
@@warrenstemphly5756 I was about that age and my parents rented a movie from blockbuster, it was some sort of murder mystery that did not seem so bad. At one point there was a guy spying on a girl through a telescope from one high rise to another. A pillow was promptly thrown over my face with the sound of my dad's name. I chuckle to this day thinking about it.
S*** happens. No one or no parent is perfect. Kids see things and find out things they shouldn't. It's a part of life. No child is shielded forever.
@@Efilnikufesin76 lol exactly. SHOULD my dad have shown me this movie? Probably not. But he knew where to really draw the line on things. It’s movies like these that shaped my sense of humor and how I still connect with my dad today.
@@kwahzimoto Exactly! Personally I think we shield children from too much of adult life. They will find out eventually when they get older, or accidentally when younger. It shouldn't be such a hard thing to deal with. It's just the process of life.

I think this is Jim’s funniest film. It’s this then Dumb and Dumber! Jokes galore! Characters are so good! I knew you two would love it!
Jim carey did some great serious films. The Truman Show, Eternal Sunshine of the spotless Mind, Number 23, and Man on the Moon are a few of the best.

This COULD very well be my #1 comedy of all time. I saw it in the theater and I remember very literally almost falling out of my chair with laughter when he first starts to crack in the grocery store, lol. Then the "Did you have fun? YESSSS I DID!" with the dildo was just the icing on the cake, lol.
Jim is a great actor. James McAvoy did an amazing job playing multiple split personalities in “Split”. I seriously felt like each personality was a different person.
To be fair, people who actually have DID critized the movie fairly heavily for its inaccurate display of what the condition is like. He did a great job having each personality feel like a different person, kind of like how Tatiana Maslany played many different characters in Orphan Black or Eliza Dushku did in Dollhouse. But as a representation of split personalities I'm told its not accurate, even if the acting is good enough to make you think it's multiple people in the same body.

Jim Carrey had such an incredible run of comedies from 1994-2000. One hit after another.
I saw Me, Myself & Irene at the cinemas in 2000 when I was only 12. A lot of the adult humor went over my head, but it was still such a great experience watching this in a packed cinema with everyone laughing there asses off.
I knew you guys would have fun with this one!

My favorite Jim Carrey role he was awesome, this comedy was so underrated, check out Kingpin same directors who did Dumb and Dumber and Theres Something About Mary which is also an absolute must!
Personally, I think this is one of the best comedic performances to grace the silver screen. Buster Keaton level performance of physical comedy, Jim Carey at his best playing two roles. You both didn’t stop laughing through your entire reaction. It’s absolutely ridiculous, but it somehow works. Just pure joy. Jim is a special type of talent. He’s eccentric, and has never fit in with the Hollywood mold. But, that is what I appreciate most about him. He left Hollywood, and he decides when he wants to come back for a role. I have complete respect for the guy, and I am glad that he is living life on his own terms. He’s a legend.

Easily one of Jim Carreys best! The makeup team actually stuck a squeaker in his nose... I couldnt even fathom trying to act out those scenes without laughing. Impossible!!! Great reaction, love the channel.
One of Jim Carey's best!!! Also for the more serious roles I'd recommend "The Majestic" which is a wonderful movie with Jim in it, I think you two would enjoy it ^_^

I've always felt that this was the hidden gem of Jim Carrey's, obviously people know about it, but nobody really talks about it. It's usually Dumb and Dummer, Ace Ventura, The Mask etc... rarely do people mention this and i think it may have to do with the R rating. All that said this movie is one of my favorites of all time. And i'm with you Asia that damn squeak with his nose kills me every damn time, it's so hard not to laugh the whole time, and it just doesnt end, when you think the bit over stayed its welcome it just keeps going and you can't stop laughing.
"It wasn't for me." "Don't make me bust a cap." "What's the matter honey? A little extra cheese on the taco? She's got a fallopian fungus... she baking bread and I think it's sour dough." The best lines in comedy.
I have loved every single JC reaction that y’all have done! I’m in tears laughing at movies I’ve seen tons of times. He has been my idol since In Living Color and watching y’all reminds me why. He is nothing short of a GENIUS. Keep going! He has more! Trueman Show is more serious but still a movie that only the great JC can pull off! I saw this movie in theaters and the whole theater was rolling. I like Liar Liar, Yes man, and The Majestic by Jim Carrey. The first two are comedies and The Majestic is a more serious role for him

This got the best reaction of any comedy I've seen in the cinemas. It was a packed cinema and everyone was laughing their ass off. There's something so special about an experience like that. These reaction videos are the next best thing to that which is why I love watching them.

Alot of people myself included see this as Jims best movie, if not one of the best comedy movies out there. This and Liar Liar are my favorites. If you want to watch a serious Jim Carry movie (The Number 23) is one. People either love it or hate it. Maybe you guys can give it a shot.
