It absolutely freaks out when structures are built on it, half of the time ours is floating in the air

If you have a foundation in the middle remove after putting one on each end and build around each side as the wheels mesh with the centre foundation which makes it bounce for some reason.
Hey teach because the carts considered armour you think its upgradable with the blueprint bench mod?
Settle down with the “overpowered” adjective. It’s basically a platform saddle.
Platform saddle+water source+flyer+new buffs from water+reincarnation?!,I think reincarnation itself is pretty OP.
The idea of incarnation sounded OP before release but now that it's out and we know what it does... it's not really OP at all. It can only be used once every 24 hours and it has to be raised from a baby. Not really that different than just breeding another egg
I used to drop dinos on a cloner every day on ASE. What's the difference?
I mean...let's compare the creatures in ASA that have "platform saddles." Bronto, Paracer, Queztal, a couple aquatic creatures. Almost all of them are extraordinarly slow and of limited utility.
Just getting a platform saddle for a therizino basically makes a wide range of gathering creatures useless because the therizino will gather almost any resource in a huge amount, and can now convert thoss resources as you see fit on the fly. Not to mention the advantage of not having to deal with the slow speed of most of the platform creatures.
It adds a fairly large amount of utility to a lot of tames that are very fast, good gatherers, etc but lack the sort of portable base building that platform saddles have.
Not sure I'd call it OP, but it's certainly going to change the dynamics of the different species and therefore gameplay for people who use them.
@@mcdiscret9632 who needs to convert resources on the fly? Not that useful. If that was the case why even have any crafting at your base? Redundant. That theri will be slow too once you encumber it with all those materials while still being vulnerable to attack as opposed to a quetz or weight stat argent.
I'm not sure if it's a bug or intended. But any structures build on the cart also damage the creature as well. And this stacks. So if you have 4 walls on the cart and have something slap the cart. Then the creature takes damage 4 times in a single hit. I had an old western carrage built on the back of the cart and had my trike that was towing it go fight a low level bronto for fun and proceeded to have my trike die in like 4 hits from the bronto as every single structure piece that takes damage gives that damage to the creature. My trike has a journeyman saddle on as well. So be careful with building big structures on the back. The physics for the cart are also bugged as well. As sometimes the cart will just levitate in the air while the dino is moving or sitting still and the only way to fix it is to remove the structures you have built on it and put them back on.
What about the link to tek troughs? I get your rushing these out for launch but please cover every function of the item in question. If the tek trough can take food directly from a dinos inventory when equipped with a cart, that could be game changing for meat runs.
Beware using this cart with a doedi. If you roll while the cart is connected it hard crashes you and anyone within render. happened twice yesterday to me.
They should've just had an animation where the cart disconnects when it's "cut" or gets destroyed lol not thinking ahead about the doed roll is wild.. I guess it's in their name Wildcard 😅

You run over the trough with the cart and it will auto transfer

Anybody else having the issue of stuff disappearing when you put stuff on the cart? Had a cart with mortar and pestles on the back and when I put the berries in they all disappeared (no, I didn’t accidentally open the theri’s inventory)
You should try putting a cart on a horse... Then try and pick the horse up with a wyvern.... I'm not gonna spoil it, but it's hilarious. Good anti flyer pick up.
I like the dlc so fun and especially the trasure maps maps it even more fun i like all the add ons and dont mind the 30 dollars for 3 dlc add ons i noticed that its kinda like things that help with the whole map which i like
Honeslt im happy with tall tales its something id actually pay for from ark. I hope we get more building skins and more exspanisve rp and tech tree items to fill out each tech teir
But keep in mind the weight on the cart is still added so it still really can only carry it's weight, from what I noticed it doesn't let you gather any extra

Troughs have some sort of wireless connection to carts. But I cannot (to date) figure out if that is train cars or these carts. But if you look at a trough's options, it has an option to disable drawing from a cart?
Put a barrel in the cart and store some food.

How do you remove foundations from this cart?
If turrets are enabled on your solo server or your unofficial server you can put turrets on these.

An argy can carry them. And that's what I've been doing to raid. You can put a golem on the back of the cart lol

I use the cart on my equus and built a little shack on it
Try having a rock golem , suddenly jump up and step on the back of your so-called overpowered wagon and watch how fast your dino stops moving and gets pumbled to death

You also don't get weight reduction if you put resources in a vault or box on the platform, so it's a lot of transferring and not worth it imo

That's bs. Don't need a dlc to play a map. I played it on xbox 10 minutes after it dropped... no problem. I'm on it now. I do not own the dlc, not yet...

Ok so I tested it, you can put a fridges and generator on the cart and they autofill nearby troughs. Basically a poor man’s tek trough.
They do not use power sources that aren’t on the cart though, so you have to have a generator as well. Absolutely insane though

Better have a high carry weight dino, the weight on the platform affects the dino carry weight.

considering I could pay 30$ to get 1k hours in a game or pay 30$ to watch 1 movie at the movies theater or 1 round of put put or 1 hour of shooting my AR-15 at the range. Its worth it.

Wow, loving this new DLC!! This is what I said Ark been needing, add-ons that you pay for. That's how COD keeps up on things and developing new COD games.
Can't put turrets on it, but what about Cannons? Rock Elemental Taming on something faster than a Paracer sounds nutty.

You can take the risk of meshing and watching arks anti meshing code killing you and losing all your stuff. Had it randomly happen climbing in a wall with a rock drake without even meshing and died with really good stuff.I don’t recommend it

Go inside a mesh is not negative, it is positive because in scorched earth, bees spawns inside meshes too, so now, they create something to allow us to get our bees! I would say they did it with that in mind! lol
This is something that Atlas players were already familiar with. That's why I didn't find it to be too surprising.
Granted, Atlas was never that popular, but not all of its ideas were bad. I expect to see them implement more of the good Atlas stuff as time wears on.

Hmmmm, can't think of a use for it. And it looks too stupid the way it doesn't follow. The fact your creature takes damage when it takes damage is stupid. The cart should have its own health, when it expires all the items you had in it will be scattered on the ground.
Its basically a platform saddle, thats why it stays in the same position relative to the dino.
The main thing that bugs me is now all dinos that can equip the cart cant go on platforms, I cant have a horse on a raft but can have a giga on it?

Open this in notepad or notepad++ {either work fine} Press Ctrl+F then paisting the line I mentioned in the OP & change it as instructed & you can now play with turrets on platforms in single player/host MP, as intended in the OG ASE Before PVPtards ruined that for everyone with battle brontos that were nothing but pyramids of guns. the path should be the same on server your just looking for server settings on the server not GameUserSettings.
