You got ARK'D hard core, Syn. Axe's short on this showed that the baby is supposed to survive after the Oasissaur is tamed.
I like how we went from a casual dino game with a marginal presence of high tech stuff to straight up harvesting souls of our tames
Straight up harvest money from people that plays in subdeveloped countries, ascended + DLC alone costs almost 1/3 of minimal wage
I like how we went from a all dlc will be free if you pay for this rip off “upgrade” to p2w creatures that ruin pvp experiences.

When Scorched Earth, Center and Ragnarok released i was ok with the new creatures and i tought they are a pretty good start to different dlcs, when Aberation released i was like it is strange but yk its a forgotten underground world, these things are acceptable but then extinction and genesis came and ruined the ark experience for me..... i love the other free dlcs tho
@@mockerchanThe year is 2030, Wildcard just released Genesis 2 for ASA and I’ve converted my office into a server room to store all the DLC’s.

They are working to patch it out from their post in forums
You only need one person in tribe to own the tall tales to tame it and then everyone can use it and it can be admin tamed in single player or unofficial servers

can you build the traintracks etc. while on a private server hosted by someone that has the dlc even if you dont have it?
@@ma1ers I'm not sure about crafting them I didn't think to check but you can try gcm that might allow it since it unlocks all engrams

oh no......OH NO.
The Oasisaur only eats the foliage from potted plants. Using a shovel and pots in your inventory you can dig bushes into the pots once they are green they can be used as food for the Oasisaur.

The fact that they actually allow you to find Dino’s/treasure maps in the game but then don’t let you interact with them unless you have the dlc is pretty shady tbh. It’s bad enough they show you the stuff in the engram page saying “hey look at all the cool stuff we could have if we bought the package” but then they go a step further to have the stuff in the game but don’t allow you to interact with them lol. Game devs are so shady nowadays

@@austinmoody4719 when we let our guard down thats when devs take a step to a mile just remember that feeling again when they start making a whole bunch of new dinos when all the dlc is out and then sell them 16 dollars each

I can confirm that the osisaur dose Spawn with out the tall tales dlc but that didn't stop me for forcetaming it😂

The baby disappears? That's odd. Sanyxs used a rex and got the baby back afterwards. The rex was force tamed though. I wonder if that matters?

Great vid Syntac! Cant wait to try this and I have the DLC but all the oasisaurs in the server I’m on are still locked. Not sure why - working on a solution. A few other reports of this happening to players as well :(
I have a quick question. Does buying Bob’s tall tales unlock future paid content, like the dlc for aberration and extinction?
I havent been keeping up with community crunches so idk if this is known info or not. Also, it’s quite the steep pricing ($45 au) for this dlc, which doesn’t seem very worth it.
Bobs tall tales is the SE, AB and EX companion adventure packs, the latter two will come with those maps

It's a super easy target and can be killed pretty fast for such a large creature and the revive function works once a day which is less reliable than breeding backups. It is fun for pve though

It easy to make it a war base. You just have to place cannon and turrets. And have 5 wyvern around it to keep it safe.
So it’s basically a creature implant form alr mobile where you can revive creatures with a tek structure,but p2w,good thing I only play solo tho lol
Not really pay to win it sucks on pvp can't cryo it a 24hour timer to revive can easily die

if you want him on single player and don't own bob tale you can use forcetame, it will be tamed and you can use it without owning bobs tale

Did you test if it could swim cause if so that would be really helpful thanks to it being able to hold houses
i mean, there's actual sea mounts for that.
I think this creature should be able to bury itself into terrain to hide in the environment plus it would make it easier to get creatures onto its back

I thought it would be bigger
For the record, Syn experiences a pretty bad bug in this. A few other ark-tubers have made tutorials for this, but a few of their baby tames actually survived the taming process, so it would seem there's a bug currently that sometimes causes them to disappear. His advice still holds, however, that until this bug is fixed, or at least the trigger for it is discovered, you would be wise to "sacrifice" a creature you don't care for, in case you get ARK'D and it goes poof.
The thing is so massive i doubt you can clone it too just like the space whale

The higher the level of the used pet the shorter the tame time event is. So like high level rex or maybe even giga Babies go really really fast.

What does it eat? As soon as i tamed it it lost all it’s food and i can’t find what it eats
can you do this "how to" on official tame rates? I found it extremely more difficult when geting past wave 5 6 7 and 8, when the Vultures are 150+. Even with acendent gear, haven't been able to do it.
I mean if if nothing else their worth taming just to get your base off the ground and away from wild dinos. I can see these being made into mobile merchant bases or Neutral Meeting areas for large tribes.
The Oasisaur is locked when i try to put my dino inside. I bought the dlc but anything bobs tales related the game tells my I dont own it and directs me to steam store... any work arounds?
I am a massive fan of this creature, but it's extremely that you can find it on the map but not tame it without more DLC. Sets a really dangerous precedent

I don't hate this creature, it's beautiful. I hate snail games and wildcard for putting behind paywall. This is one of the few reasons I'll never buy ASA.

I didn't buy ASA because I felt it was a scummy move to full price it and everything else for players who already owned ASE. Gone are the days of Wildcard caring about the fanbase since, as usual Corporations come slithering in when they see a successful IP they can profit off of.
But im mainly being cynical with tbst that bit. I still think its a spit in everyones face though.
