Vorici Chromatic Calculator! :D edit: i imagine many new players wondering why we named the chrom calc after an enemy... i remember when we had... how many was it ? 7 different benches with different crafts... it was horrible as a new player to keep track what was in each bench^^
I watched this video and started reading the comments..... this is the best group of people i've seen on a youtube channel ever! all the comments I scrolled through had such helpful and on point suggestions for people. Well done Tenkiei! You have created a space where generous and knowledgeable people gather to share their love of Path with others!
Ha! I knew all of them. So i am officially a PoE-Expert now! Another helpful tip: The vendor recipes for "Magic Weapon with added x [ELEMENT] Damage to Spells". This recipe is super helpful while leveling. It requires: 1 Magic Sceptre OR Wand OR Rune Dagger + 1 Sapphire Ring (Cold Damage) OR 1 Ruby Ring (Fire Damage) OR 1 Topaz Ring (Lightning Damage) Ring + 1Orb of Alteration Normal ring - tier 8 damage mod - level requirement 11 Magic ring - tier 7 damage mod - level requirement 18 Rare ring - tier 6 damage mod - level requirement 26
10/10 Another tip: when you get items with open suffixes, you can use the crafting bench from early on to fix your resistances. Resistances are key to not dying in the leveling process and early maps. also: dont be afraid to die in bossrushes if you are in softcore. Its better to die 3 times on merveil, than to spend 20 minutes to farm up gear if you are looking to be efficient. Another way to jumpstart your leaguestart is to go straight to heist, as soon as you hit it - even before finishing act 10, because you get free 30 all res and you can do chaos recipe from lvl 60+ very effeciently in heist, since it spits out a shittton of jewelry, which is usually the limiting factor in chaos recipe.
I love Heist for gearing. Heist also vomits out a lot of 5-linked items, too. Sure as hell beats running vaal side areas for corrupted 5L and 6L items.
Great tips, knew em all but ive been playing for close to 10 years now. #1 tip (trade league) would be to buy level 20 main gems when you hit 70 since its such a huge powerspike especially for spells.
Another good recipe I use very early is selling a 3-link with a red, green, and blue socket for a chromatic orb. Due to the way socket colors work, these items are more common in early acts.
9/10 did'nt know that quality affects the socket number. But hey, I am not the "typical player" as female and in my forties ... but I guess I did a quite good job with my level 89 Toxic rain ranger and first time getting all watchstones this league thanks to videos like this
10/10. I have three tips to add 1: Don't compare yourself to other players. Sure players like TyTy or ImExile or Lightee may be faster then you, but don't let that discourage you from playing or improving. This works for all of PoE, but is especially important at league-start since "Time to Endgame+All-Points" is such a benchmarkable-stat in PoE 2: Know what gems you are going to buy, when you are going to gem-swap, and etc... This can save a BUNCH of time at league-start. 3: Pick up off-hand 3-socket one-handed weapons/shields and place them in your off hand to level gems. This is especially important if you will be gem-swapping to a different skill later, or for auras. Remember that killing Hillock will always drop a unlinked R G B one-handed weapon.
10/10 but mostly because I've watched a lot of other players rush through acts. Another casual-friendly tip: picking up purity of elements even if you drop it before maps. Not worrying about ailments and resists when going into act 6/7 is super nice
1:51 Small tip on essences Use it!!!!! There isn't a good base you are going to use that essence on. Just use it on any 3 or 4link you see from the vendor or on the ground. I've seen people hoard that essence thinking there will be a better time. There isn't a better time use it now!
unless its one you use to get edps or pdps on weapon, then there will for sure be a better base. just question is how long you want to wait for the next upgrade
I'm 100% guilty of hoarding low level essences with the thought "oh no, a better white base will drop later" and most of the time it doesn't. Definitely agree with your tip
Essence is a bit tricky, I feel. Because you want to start crafting resists on your items around the beginning of act 3. Essence might add one too many suffixes. So you get these awkward moments like you don't want to apply it to the items you're wearing in case it ruins them so you use it on the ones you've been holding in your inventory. And those items are there since the ship graveyard. You hit the essence and you end up with all t9 affixes.
10/10 here. I started playing POE in Delve League. Very useful vendor recipe for casters: Ruby, Sapphire, or Topaz Ring + Orb of Alteration + Wand gives the wand a bonus damage to spells wand. This wand is very good at low levels.
10/10, but been around for quiet some time :) Some tips and tricks! 1. If you do not find boots with movement speed, there is a vendor recipe for that! PS! You can do the recipe multiple times to get MORE movement speed on ur boots ( to the boots cap off the ilvl ) 2. Halfway trough acts, if you feel like you're getting screwed by freeze etc, pick up purity off elements, it's a huge + to use trough acts, and early on in mapping, switch when you feel comfy about ur gear! 3.When you're going trough acts, if you know what you want to play later on, start buying ur skill gems asap when you can and put them into ur SECONDARY slots ( equip a weapon off the ground with socket slots ) to start leveling them, when you then reach the point you will transition from what you lvled with, your gems will be at a really decent spot already 4.League-start and really early, it's not too easy to buy certain gems, but a few days in, buying a lvl 20 gem (ESPECIALLY!! for magic builds etc) will boost ur dmg by a lot! It's night and day having a lvl 20 vs a lvl 18 for example 5.A tip for newer people, League-starts are insanely fun, great content, new stuff etc, and you probably wonder.. what build am i gonna attempt this league? I will give an example what you shouldn't pick 1st and why! Try to stay away from melee physical builds as a league start if you're new, reason is, it's 100 times easier to scale "magic" builds asap for dmg rather than melee phys, (1. Melee phys like 2h user cyclone takes a lot off dmg early on, you need a good 2h to even do some dmg ) while a wand user for example can pull off almost ridiculous dmg numbers early on with just a ... wand and 3L, keep that in mind! Sorry for a long post, i tend to stroll away when i start! .- To me exile! "POFF POFF POFF POFF" -
Overall solid tips, but for many people on league start I'd say you'll be unlikely to just buy a L20 gem. That's more of an option for someone who levels more slowly and hits maps day 3-5.
Regarding 5, the difference between spells and a melee build is spells are very dependent on your gem level. Attack builds scale off your weapons, obv, and your gems aren't as important. So if you start dying a lot in maps as a caster, sometimes you'll eventually overcome it when your gems hit L20.
10/10! Great video. ALSO, Essences early are amazing for vendor recipies. For wand craft, get ring bases like ruby, sapphire, topaz rings on drops or from vendors. Or if those aren't available, you can vendor an iron ring (act 1 nessa) with a gem to make it's corresponding ring type. Then use essence to make it a rare for your level 20 wand craft. Ezpz! Also, vendoring items identified OR unidentified is very important early on depending on what you need in the first couple acts and helps when you need to do res crafts later.
9/10. I am crying as I didn’t realise you didn’t need to do all the f*Ing trials for the Uber lab! Been screaming in frustration trying to find that 6th trial which has thwarted me in two leagues in the past… good thing I tune into you every once in a while! :-)
was only this league, and I spent quite a bit of time in global 820 and message people who were asking for trials telling them they didnt have to do them all. people were so grateful.
10/10 One tip that I use while leveling is, don't go back to town every time a quest is completed. Save them up and claim rewards all at the same time.
well yeah i mean some people are probably doing that but if u dnt know that simple trick u know pretty much nothing about a loot game and beeing efficient whatever u wanna call it and should better be playing just a dif game... sounds as pathetic as someone that dnt knows what crit is but still just plays the game without looking for some help.. like i mean if u dnt understand as someone that is older then 14yrs that going back for a single shit quest or item or whatever is just stupid its nothing that u have to learn just using brain (i m talking about the quest part here not not knowing what crit is)
@@saschaberger7201 Some games you have to claim rewards from this quest to have that quest unlock. POE isn't like this but if you are new(er) to the game, you may not know that.
10/10 Cause i always do crafting. My tips : Most important tip is to never compare urself with someone else. The best leveling filter i think its tytykiller's filter.Never rush mapping at the start of the league , its easier to farm chaos recipe to smooth out the curve from white to yellow and even reds on some builds. The chaos recipe its one the best ways to get the uniques you need for a build at league start or any important item for your build.Always have ur Pob ready and try to make a strategy to farm up the currency after you are done with the chaos recipe(i would stop doing chaos recipe after day2-3 , depends). This all means that having a plan is your starting point in having an amazing experience at league start.
At this point in the game progression, level 60 - 68 is actually better in heist than in blood aqueducts and you don't have to skip Chaos recipe in favor of getting actual Chaos and loot from heist either
10/10 Cap your Resistances in Act 3 BEFORE taking on Gravicius. Fire Res specifically for Gravicius. But you want Cold and Lightning to be capped for Piety and getting to Piety. If you are struggling with this check vendors for normal (white) Two-Stone Rings (preferably +16 to Cold and Lightning as an example) and go to your crafting bench in your hideout and craft a missing resistance on it for the cost of 1 Orb of Transmutation.
Note if this is your first character the hideout won't be available to you until you unlock one by going into the Dread Thicket in the Northern Forest in Act 2. Look for the blue Fleur De Lis symbol and go inside and clear it of all monsters to unlock it. Have total resistance at 105% going to face Kitava in Act 5 as you'll recieve a -30% res penalty and do the same again when facing Kitava again in Act 10 (total penalty is -60). If you know you aren't going to be resistance capped after facing Kitava in Act 10 do your 3rd Lab before facing Kitava.
If you struggle with Izaro go and find all the Dark Shrines and hope to get one that says something like Labyrinth traps are disabled in the final encounter with Izaro. This will make the fight much less chaotic and give you room to maneuver. Do at least one complete Einhar mission in a lvl 20 or higher zone (basically really late Act 2 or Act 3 onward) so that you can go to the menagerie and craft a flask that can remove bleed. I try to do this before facing Dominus in Act 3, but if I don't do it then I make sure to do it before entering The Belly of the Beast in Act 5.
Entering maps: For maps of Tier 1-5 you only have to complete as magical (blue) for the bonus objective. If you aren't sure how strong your character is then roll* the maps with NO damage mods. This will give less loot but not getting dead is a good way to not feel frustrated with your character. For instance if you are running a Righteous Fire inquisitor you don't care about critical strikes or physical damage so you would shoot for something like: +20% Monster Physical Damage Reduction Monsters take (25-30)% reduced Extra Damage from Critical Strikes Those are free mods for your build.
Avoid mods that make you take more damage or cause enemies to deal more damage until you have defenses in place to deal with those modifiers.
Monsters reflect 13% of Elemental Damage (if you do elemental damage) Monsters reflect 13% of Physical Damage (if your character does physical damage) -(8-5)% maximum Player Resistances Monsters have (160-200)% increased Critical Strike Chance +(30-35)% to Monster Critical Strike Multiplier Monsters deal (50-69)% extra Physical Damage as Fire *Rolling means take a white map and apply an Orb of Transmutation to it in order to make it magical (blue). If it only rolls one modifier and you want to up the stakes a bit you can use an Orb of Augmentation on it to add a second modifier. If you don't like the modifiers you can re-roll them with an Orb of Alteration, though do note that this could knock the map back down to one modifier instead of two, but it will still be magical allowing you to complete the bonus objective for this tier of map.
9/10 I have not bothered to mess with a leveling filter. Another tip I would add is to use your vaal fragments in order to get early 5 or 6 links. It is surprising how often links drop in vaal side areas when you get to the map device. Even if the item isn't good for you you can sell it and buy one that is good. Also it is good to remember that ANY 6 LINK is better than Tabula.
10/10 because most of this stuff is required to not be miserable in SSf. Some Small Tips 1. Holding Alt on Zana will show what your competition status is of the map can help tailor you're shopping to specific maps to finish your atlas progression. 2. Usually, I skip farming for Tabula and instead go for corrupted base farming with Fragments. You get far better start of mapping gear and you only really care about tabula while leveling as its a generic 6L. I would rather have a 5.5 link with one color forcing a second choice support gem, than a tabula because I feel the added stats, resists or Health makes for a far better mapping experience than losing 5-8% more damage for a sub optimal 6th link. (Plus I never wanna farm blood Aqueducts again if I can help it.) This strategy is even better in trade league because you can sell good colored corrupts to help you migrate to your perma 6L, or you can simply sell for Divines. 3. If your anything like me your starter should fulfill 3 criteria. It should be a playestyle you find enjoyable. It should be a reasonable mapper. It should be a solid bosser. I hate having to roll a second character just to handle invitations, Guardians or Sirus. So my starters always need to fulfill all 3 criteria. I dont care how fast my maps are if I need to do a lot of work arounds to do the bosses. This becomes more and more important if you are only a 1-3 build player in a league. I tend to roll starter and roll those items into a scaling build depending on the uniques I find in SSF. Nothing kills my enthusiasm more than doing a "hype" league start that peters out in reds or cant kill harder bosses and needing to reset all my progression to get a bossing character up and running. 4. Dont follow build guides religiously. All guides make some assumptions about what the meta will be, prices in trade, and being too ridged with the build guide can leave you a bit lost if you need to deviate. Watch build guides predominately for the big picture and what the combat flow looks like. Then open poe ninja, select some build criteria preferably in SSf, set the snapshot to maybe a week into the league then look for the commonalities in those builds. That will help you set realistic expectations of progression and also gives you more fool proof methods of setting up the initial character based upon the progression of people with no trade to supplement the build. In 3.16 a lot of people got upset that some builds proved impractical after the league launch, this could have been avoided by having a more clear starter place that they could then transition out of after items become accessible. For example if I wanted a Cold dot Occult I would run a search similar to poe.ninja/challengessf/builds?time-machine=week-1&class=Occultist&skill=!Bane,!Poisonous-Concoction,!Spectral-Helix,!Caustic-Arrow,!Essence-Drain,!Soulrend&keystone=Void-Beacon,Frigid-Wake&dps=Soulrend Which would give me the range of builds. Then I could look at channels like this or similar content makers to see if they have a starter guide on any of those skills to get an idea of what the gameplay feels like. Then move on from there.
8/10 Flask :oh Essence: check Level filter: check Gem levels. check Beer & passives: check Quality link : check. (I used this for easier 6L) Corrupted craft: check (learned this during scourge league) Map purchases: check Three copy of map: oh New uber lab: check
10/10 Been really enjoying your videos Another tip: if you vendor an iron ring with a skill gem you will get a resist ring (red gem= fire res...) Helps me alot with resist especially act 1
If you are lacking that crusial 4L on league start, check the vendors in town each time you level up (from act 3+) It is easier to roll +1 gems on the low level wands from Nessa in act 1 due to a smaller mod pool. Alternatively make a fresh char to kill hillock and then take all the wands. On league start, vendor armour and blacksmiths for easy wisdoms.
you forgot the in my oppinon most important tipp for league start. Skip leauge mecanic till maps so you dont loose time while getting to maps ( unless the mecanic doesnt hinder you moving trough the acts). because at lest if you dont play ssf maven progress is free currency ( for example area contaisn 1 extra essence)
@@Tenkiei expecially scourge makes bringing your first character to maps take like 2 times you would if you just skip the mecainic. and time you spend while going trought he acts is wasted time if you want to play efficent (also till like act 6 there drops like nothing while you do the mecanic)
Heist is boring as shit but if your goal is early currency it's absolutely the fastest way to get it. Ez chaos recipe, and if you're not planning on running blueprints the coins are free money
Appreciate your content. Thank you! 9.5/10 for me. In tip #10, I didn’t know the part where I don’t have to do all the eternal trials to access the eternal lab. I checked it on the wiki as well. However, according to the Wiki, it’s “Offering” and not “Gift” to the goddess.
@@saschaberger7201 It matters because both exist in game, but 'Gift' is way more expensive than 'Offering', hence it will harm players who do not know.
@@ash91_ should be obv at the point u read what ea one does but i know a lot of new players and also some that are playing for longer still didnt acquired the ability to read the description of a item just ask and read what someone answers... u should check wich one u need on ya own anyway and if someone knows what a ascendancy is they most likely know wich offering was meant
9.5 out of 10. I didnt know that the map purchased in the 3 for 1 could only me one of the linked ones. It makes sense though. Another tip I have is don't bother upgrading your gear too often, only think about it when you're seeing extra sockets appearing. Or when you;re about to fight Kitava and you need to overcap your resistances a bit.
Another Tip: Kirac sells maps of t1 before zana is found, just get some there, and sell if u have three the same for a t2, and try and get to your first t3 asap, that where zana will appear
if you struggle at beginning of Act 5 because of the resistances penalty, just farm lvl 44-45 zones before killing Act 4 Kitava until you have enough resists to still be capped after the kill. I like to grind until lvl 55 on the Cathedral Rooftop and surrounding zones (it doesn't take that long and makes the following Acts really easy, not to mention the extra currency and passives you got from leveling).
You can do the same thing later by running merc lab before you kill kitava for a second time, and then running BA, foothills, or quarry to get your res up to par.
@@Tenkiei yes. a lot of new players think that going back to lower level zones is bad for xp/drops but it's a great way to low stress farming and testing skills. i would say 10 level lower is max tho.
11/10, especially the subscribers get 10% extra experience one, I would add vendoring an iron ring and a skill gem to get a res ring, especially for the first few acts
10/10 been playing actively pushing for at least half of all the challenges since challenges came out. My advice is to start before a new league in standard and try to find something that you find fun, then do that for the first couple of days. I am going to start with expedition no matter what happens. :-D I simply love what I can give me. And I used it this league to farm up a Mageblood in 5 days, without Gwennen. Doing something that you like will keep you focused and playing. And that is what gives you currencies.
@@Tunguska1 i used knight of the sun. But first I used black scythe. I made money with the currencies and the artifacts alone. I bought the logbooks in bulk on TFT, then did the splitting them myself to increase my profits. Then I would sell the vendor reset currencies on TFT for bulks. From Danning I would sell my currencies from him. Buying up Black scythe artifacts, doing him untill I ran out of artifacts and then sell the rest of the exotic coins. And I did all the Rog I could, and got some money from that. :-) all of them are great as long as you have an idea of what you are doing. Yeah even Rog. But it is more crafting knowledge based, and he eats up much more artifacts than any other expedition vendor.
I got 9/10, although I kind of new the one I didn't quite get. I wondered why gems were higher level sometimes, and now I know. The reason I realized they were higher level when I was trying to buy them is because I was trying to get lower level gems; I had accidentally over leveled gems a couple of times, and didn't want to use currency to de-level them.
Know everything ofc, but yeah, knowledge is power. My personal tip is to play on the strongest options of builds, to rush acts without problems and feeling that you struggling to much, then you just respec to build you want to play. Feel no shame to play meta - be quick)
10/10, but its glad you thought it was important enough to remind ppl about essences and that just because a racer might skip an essence doesn't mean the avg player should.
You make a good point about people practising their league starts, did GGG say they were going to up the difficulty again? I don't think I've seen so many people prepping this much outside of races.
How do you craft a flask that activates when you're hit/get an ailment/etc? I have two flasks that grant immunity to Bleed/CF and Poison that I would love to add that auto-cast to.
Awesome video! Small feedback though: If you do the like, comment and subscribe thing in the middle of the video, it seems as if the video is over, atleast for me. Maybe check if watch time drops off at that time.
@@Tenkiei hmm, what happens if you miss say two passive points when you try to go from 98 to 99, does the XP bar stop going up? I would expect that the points per level fit the same point per xp level not total level including books, otherwise you could save a couple of passives and exploit the flatter xp per level curve.
Didn't know the passives and the crafting of socket colors. But the last one isn't very useful, especially now that we can modify corrupted colors cheaper...
Honestly, my tip is practice layouts. You know you'll get lost in the Lower & Upper Prison, Vaal Pyramid... you know you'll full clear Brine King's Reef and the fight is difficult enough so you'll be mega frustrated... Just look at some layouts, equip your quicksilvers and run a couple times each one. You'll lose 30 minutes now, you'll save dozens of hours later.
@@ulkem no just running acts 3-4 times with alts and for me after the 4th or 5th run or so i had pretty much every layout and quest in ma head so i could do the acts blindfolded thats rly important if u dnt have to look where u go and if u dnt look at the enemies allways just on the map where your small marker is u will automatically be like 3x as fast
@@ulkem i nrmly dnt practice alot at least not for gems and links since i will be able to check that easily with a good lootfilter(links) and a guide ofc (gems)
The flask recipe has a small problem now. If you do the recipe from the start you can end up with a ilvl 1 Eternal flask. the problem is easily fixed but, just sayin ilvl makes a difference now in flask management.
if it has an anti-bleed mod on it even a low level life flask is fine when you're just getting to maps. You can always pick up something higher level a bit later.
Dang my comment didn't save. 10/10 #6- Orb of bing on a white item= up to 4-link rare #8- I would create a whole video on map sustain, to be honest. It would probably do well with the right title. Things like running maps rare until red. Adding fragments for additional quantity. Etc. I bet most of the community struggles with map sustain and are forced to use their chaos to buy maps. Obviously the watchstone manipulation would change with the new end-game, but generic tips would help many.
Because it's very likely to change I'm going to be holding off on more specific stuff like that for now. But you're right a lot of people are missing basic map sustain tips. I've created a similar video in the past but it's outdated now.

any tip to get a 6L or tabula, i recently started playing SSF and since i always bought my gear i don't know how to get those items. I heard people farm aqueduct, does it work? Learn a few things in this comment section! 10/10
The best thing to do would be farm vaal side areas, getting a corrupted 6-link is fairly common and corrupted strongboxes will be another good way. Regular 6-links are easiest to farm with divination cards such as "The chains that bind". I'd avoid farming for a tabula.
Don't spend currency on crap during levelling(special on SSF), I always have tendency to blow up "for no reason" all my currency around 60 lvl on some mediocre item...
the best uses of currency I can think of while leveling, are either using the crafting bench to put resists or basic crafts on with transmutes/alts. Or alternatively buying a unique you'll be using for awhile such as embalmer or belt of the deceiver.
A bit late to the vid but, it'll be a weird day when this isn't important xD Tip: CAP YOUR ELEMENTAL RESISTANCES AND DO NOT HAVE NEGATIVE CHAOS RESISTANCE! Enjoy :)

1:51 Small tip on essences
Use it!!!!!
@@hotChocolateLion I hoard essences to see a pretty rainbow stash tab.
Definitely better to use it, odds are you'll get another essence before the perfect base comes along.
An early divine drop can be used in a vendor recipe for 5x divine vessels. Good for league starts.
Haha
surely
10/10 here. I started playing POE in Delve League.
Very useful vendor recipe for casters: Ruby, Sapphire, or Topaz Ring + Orb of Alteration + Wand gives the wand a bonus damage to spells wand. This wand is very good at low levels.
10/10, but been around for quiet some time :)
Some tips and tricks!
1. If you do not find boots with movement speed, there is a vendor recipe for that! PS! You can do the recipe multiple times to get MORE movement speed on ur boots ( to the boots cap off the ilvl )
2. Halfway trough acts, if you feel like you're getting screwed by freeze etc, pick up purity off elements, it's a huge + to use trough acts, and early on in mapping, switch when you feel comfy about ur gear!
3.When you're going trough acts, if you know what you want to play later on, start buying ur skill gems asap when you can and put them into ur SECONDARY slots ( equip a weapon off the ground with socket slots ) to start leveling them, when you then reach the point you will transition from what you lvled with, your gems will be at a really decent spot already
4.League-start and really early, it's not too easy to buy certain gems, but a few days in, buying a lvl 20 gem (ESPECIALLY!! for magic builds etc) will boost ur dmg by a lot! It's night and day having a lvl 20 vs a lvl 18 for example
5.A tip for newer people, League-starts are insanely fun, great content, new stuff etc, and you probably wonder.. what build am i gonna attempt this league?
It's a very recent change.
This change was introduced in the latest league and hopefully its gonna stay.
was only this league, and I spent quite a bit of time in global 820 and message people who were asking for trials telling them they didnt have to do them all. people were so grateful.

One tip that I use while leveling is, don't go back to town every time a quest is completed.
@@carljames5736 yeah definetly i forgott about that i know a few games where it is like that but not to many games i played
If you're doing heist from 60-68 you absolutely want to be doing chaos recipe it's very easy to double your chaos/h from heist (or more).
10/10
Cap your Resistances in Act 3 BEFORE taking on Gravicius.
For instance if you are running a Righteous Fire inquisitor you don't care about critical strikes or physical damage so you would shoot for something like:
+20% Monster Physical Damage Reduction
Monsters take (25-30)% reduced Extra Damage from Critical Strikes
Those are free mods for your build.
Avoid mods that make you take more damage or cause enemies to deal more damage until you have defenses in place to deal with those modifiers.
Monsters reflect 13% of Elemental Damage (if you do elemental damage)
Monsters reflect 13% of Physical Damage (if your character does physical damage)
-(8-5)% maximum Player Resistances
Monsters have (160-200)% increased Critical Strike Chance
+(30-35)% to Monster Critical Strike Multiplier
Monsters deal (50-69)% extra Physical Damage as Fire
*Rolling means take a white map and apply an Orb of Transmutation to it in order to make it magical (blue).
I'd even go so far as to say most 5-links are better than a tabula.
@@Tenkiei half the builds out there aren't sustaining 6L mana consumption at start of maps anyway
10/10 because most of this stuff is required to not be miserable in SSf.
Some Small Tips
For example if I wanted a Cold dot Occult I would run a search similar to
poe.ninja/challengessf/builds?time-machine=week-1&class=Occultist&skill=!Bane,!Poisonous-Concoction,!Spectral-Helix,!Caustic-Arrow,!Essence-Drain,!Soulrend&keystone=Void-Beacon,Frigid-Wake&dps=Soulrend
Which would give me the range of builds. Then I could look at channels like this or similar content makers to see if they have a starter guide on any of those skills to get an idea of what the gameplay feels like. Then move on from there.

Been really enjoying your videos
Another tip: if you vendor an iron ring with a skill gem you will get a resist ring (red gem= fire res...)

Thanks for all the vids. I’m still fairly new to Poe and it helps a lot. Keep up the good work.
You're welcome.
If you are lacking that crusial 4L on league start, check the vendors in town each time you level up (from act 3+)
It is easier to roll +1 gems on the low level wands from Nessa in act 1 due to a smaller mod pool. Alternatively make a fresh char to kill hillock and then take all the wands.
On league start, vendor armour and blacksmiths for easy wisdoms.

10/10. Still gonna slug through league start without remembering them =)
Just set yourself a reminder a couple days before league start.
Nice work on the video!
Thanks!
you forgot the in my oppinon most important tipp for league start. Skip leauge mecanic till maps so you dont loose time while getting to maps ( unless the mecanic doesnt hinder you moving trough the acts). because at lest if you dont play ssf maven progress is free currency ( for example area contaisn 1 extra essence)
That varies too much based on league mechanic, some like scourge you absolutely cannot afford to skip.
@@Tenkiei expecially scourge makes bringing your first character to maps take like 2 times you would if you just skip the mecainic. and time you spend while going trought he acts is wasted time if you want to play efficent (also till like act 6 there drops like nothing while you do the mecanic)
pro tip : skip the legue machanic until youtubers show how to abuse it and focus on heist
Heist is boring as shit but if your goal is early currency it's absolutely the fastest way to get it. Ez chaos recipe, and if you're not planning on running blueprints the coins are free money
8/10. I never paid attention to leveling recipes like the flask upgrade and I thought all gems bought at level 1 when from any given vendor.
Yeah I'll be honest there's so many "of the goddess" names I got a bit confused. I blame GGG for naming 4 things the same.
lol nice karen caring about if its named offering or gift xD
@@saschaberger7201 It matters because both exist in game, but 'Gift' is way more expensive than 'Offering', hence it will harm players who do not know.

Who knows if Zana will ever appear again??
if you struggle at beginning of Act 5 because of the resistances penalty, just farm lvl 44-45 zones before killing Act 4 Kitava until you have enough resists to still be capped after the kill.
Heyo Tenkiei! Nice tips vid.
Thanks, I'm glad you liked it!
11/10, especially the subscribers get 10% extra experience one, I would add vendoring an iron ring and a skill gem to get a res ring, especially for the first few acts
Vendoring an iron ring to get a res ring, or using a res ring to do the wand vendor recipe can both help a lot.
Whats your strategy with expedition? I tried to get into it but failed to find success with it.
Phew, I just recently learned a couple of those tips so I got a 10/10 :D
Nice 10/10.
10/10 worth adding that before Zana show up you can buy maps from Kirac
Yeah, although his selection is a bit more limited he's still a good early source of maps.
Even a lot of racers grab essences during races. They're just a little pickier about it.
9/10 and the tip i didn't know I really don't care about.
Instilling orbs, or your crafting bench.

#6- Orb of bing on a white item= up to 4-link rare
#8- I would create a whole video on map sustain, to be honest.
