    I was feeling a little frustrated when I couldn't follow through all the scissor kicks but your words of encouragement helped me a lot. I just need patience and practice so that my 100% improves!

    Those scissors kicks were... humbling. I felt like you were talking directly too much when you said to be going at your pace for roll downs! Great core class! Proud of myself for doing it after a long work day!

    Thank you so much for this workout and for the reminder that my 100% is not the same as someone else’s, I really needed to hear that. Also I’m proud of myself today, I did a better roll down and up today, not perfect but I can see a slight difference from last week 🤩

    Did this just now….feels good to do this late morning…a week off from work… thanking God that it’s not me but my husband recovering from a total knee replacement…yet it is going well!

    Margaret, you make me laugh! Some of the comments you make are hilarious. I love the 'real' about you and your teaching. I do pilates almost every day with you and actually miss it when I miss a day. Then i do a longer class to make up for the one missed. Thanks so very much for you guidance!

    Definitely ran out of steam towards the end with the legs but did better in my roll ups!! I also hiked 6 miles today so it was a good challenge for my legs after that too. See you tomorrow!

    Your cueing is IMMACULATE! As a pilates instructor in training, I didn't do this workout...I just wrote down all the cues I love! Will do this workout later tho! Keep up the great work! Love your channel!

    I’m a beginner that’s been stalking your workouts lately since around late august 😅 may have seen my comments since I’ve been commenting quite a bit but I recently learned Pilates was invented from witnessing a cat so when you said “like a Cat” I giggled a little

    Got a say it took me a minute to find what leg position worked best for me today, but your words of encouragement helped me feel like what I was doing was good for my body. I’m excited to see how my form improves over time! Amazing class like usual, looking forward to tomorrow 🤩

    That leg movement on the last round killed me! For some reason my body just doesn’t want to move that way. But I tried and I’m sure next time it’ll be a little easier to coordinate. Also I personally LOVE roll downs, I always do them after your workouts. They feel so good on my back! I made my girlfriend try them yesterday because her back always hurts and cracks with every single movement she makes but she couldn’t do it. I told her she needs to start doing your workouts hehe. Thank you again!

    Day 8 done. Yesterday stretch super helped. Also I noticed that I am more flexible than on the first day. Is that even possible in such a short time? Anyway thank you for doing this. 🥰

    So it’s been 8 days and I’m already doing better on my roll ups! Those are honestly my favorite I’m not sure why everyone hates them so much lol

      Good work!!! The roll ups are different for everyone! I don’t mind them- but omg the most frequent comment I get is something about roll ups 😂

    Maybe I’m not doing the roll downs correctly, but those are not a problem. The problem is every other dang core move 😂 But it’s becoming a smaller problem each time! I’ve been doing your videos for four weeks and I’m loving them!!!

      The roll downs might not be an issue for you! Everyone is a little different! Glad you're loving the classes!

    That scissor kick section was tough. I've lost a lot of core strength since I stopped doing Pilates regularly and it shows, but I made it through (with some breaks). Day 8 done!

    Hi Margaret! Loving the challenge but today while doing the scissors I noticed that lower back kept arching off the mat and hurt and even when I reduced my range of motion after a while my back began to hurt. What am I doing wrong and what can I do so it doesn’t hurt 😭

      Hard to know when I can't see you! But it sounds like you're doing a lot of good things - With any floor exercise like this not only are we trying to keep tension out of the lower back, we're also trying to keep the hips stationary, so checking in there and making sure as you move your legs your hips aren't tilting with you. Sometimes it can help too to support your hips with either the hands under the tailbone or even a towel so you get some cushion!

    Is there a good substitute or variation for the exercise around 5 minutes? I cannot sit with my legs and back straight, and doing it with a tilted hip hurts the lower back.

      Bend your knees as much as you need or sit in more of a butterfly position, or even cross legged would work! It’s mostly about moving the shoulders & upper back on that one
