Thank you for your comment Theodore. When using this product you could see up to a 70% reduction in heat. We do have several other videos on UA-cam where we simulate heat through a pipe, take a temp use our Heatshield Armor(same material as our Header Armor) retest and show the results. I invite you to enjoy those. We also put a link in the description directly to this product if you need anymore information. As far as cost you would need to visit one of our retailers. You can do this by visiting our website and clicking on the "BUY" tab near the upper right side.
The headers may not be the only source of the heat, but the Header Armor will definitely help curb some of the heat you are getting on the new headers. If you have any further question please do not hesitate to reach out to our tech line or our tech email. tech@heatshieldproducts.com or 760-751-0441 then hit the extension for tech support.
Thank you for your comment. Couple of things here. Sheet metal... no, it is a dimpled aluminum. Ceramic... no, it is a bio-soluble silica pad. Made in the USA... yes, we do not pay someone else to make a low quality product that will fail after a couple of uses. Everyone is entitled to their opinion... this is ours. Have a good one.
@@Heatshieldproducts dont be mad of me, may be I was a bit rood on that comment. well the ceramic blankets are well to holds up against 1500 Celsius very well, they are not that expensive, you can forge them to shape. im using them on my own headers, works fine without any metal armor even aluminum on it. by the way i have used steel zip ties to hold it on the headers. its looks like your things without armor on it.
please define significantly reduce temp., conditions of test, vehicle tested, cost of header armor, tested verified dyno performance gains

Would you heat shield a cast iron manifold?
We only recommend you cover a little of the cast iron manifold. You want to avoid heating it up too much and cracking it,
i got a 2023 f-150 and i’ve installed 2M Fabrication Headers and my
cabin has been heating up a lot i have a 5.0 will this kit keep everything cool?
