Well it was because Gordon couldn't mix all the tracks before it's release so agreed that someone from Bethesda would mix the rest. Don't get me wrong, it sucks Gordon couldn't do the whole thing but the mixing by Bethesda isn't that bad. In fact, Meathook is one of the tracks Gordon did mix.

Paradise Lost (or Urdak in the game rip), is an interesting one. It has a very alien feel to it, and while it isn't mixed by Gordon, I'd say it's still worth a listen due to how different it sounds.
