Happy Birthday to Mike Shrieve!

Join us in wishing Mike Shrieve a happy 71st birthday! Here's mind-blowing solo with Santana during "Soul Sacrifice," August 18, 1970 at Tanglewood! Watch for his stick to stick work--totally worth the wait! Have you ever seen Mike in person? Mike is also known as the youngest performer at Woodstock at 20 years old, but he is actually the second youngest to Henry Gross, who performed with Sha Na Na at 18. Regardless, Mike has always been an amazing drummer! This is one of my top 10 drum solos ever, and I'd love to have him on the show sometime for an interview!
