The foam insert is not packaging material. It's "pick n pluck" foam for customizing the interior to hold your gear.

it's not packaging, remove the pieces of foam in the centre to match the size and shape of your device it will hold then strap the foam and device into the case. like a pelican case

Cool,Nice looking Briefcase you have their mike,Just had a thought for a very funny Video intro for the review,Maybe dressed in a black suit white shirt black tie and of course shades,walking through the airport or through the doors at CES with it handcuffed to your wrist,Inside the case is gonna be a product never been seen before,then you pop the case open with bodyguards stood around you,now that would be funny recon you could pull it off ?,lol

Seems like a nice case. But, just visited their website and it seems like they got out of all cases and are only into overpriced purses now.
Did a search on their site and could not find anything related to this type of case that they would carry.

Just random input from years later, but any product designed to carry items and protect them during travel, but comes with protective wrap when it is shipped, should be a pretty good indicator on that products capability. If they believe they're product is so fragile it needs to be protected during shipping, why on earth would you trust it to protect your stuff for travel? Just saying
