I was raised Catholic. Left church when I started attending the Baptist church when dating my husband at 20yo. I learned so much from this video. I actually watched it twice. This ought to be shared with every child in the Catholic faith. A simpler version before First Communion. And this before Confirmation. Wouldn’t hurt for every adult to view every 5 years! I watched a video sometime in the last year when it popped up on UA-cam. I ended up returning to watch more. I made the decision to return to the Catholic Church. I’m enjoying all of the Explaining the Faith series. Watch as often as I can. Thank you so much! God bless you all especially Father Chris!

We stand to show respect. We kneel in humility. We are small. God is big. We kneel to ask humbly for mercy. We sit to receive a message. We genuflect only before the Blessed Sacrament (except Good Friday when we genuflect before the cross).

This is both important and necessary…and thanks be to God for doing this. I would only recommend that you not stress the Biblical saturation in a way that sounds like a defensive plea before the court of Protestants. Thank you Father, you’re truly a gift and a blessing.
The emphasis on scripture led me to watch more videos where I learned about why Catholic tradition is so important too. I’m now converting from Baptist (and some JW as a child) because somehow hearing “sceioture” convinced me to investigate further. Really happy to have found the true Church. 🙏😊✝️❤️🕊️

Fr. Alar I was raised Catholic, married Catholic and had my kids baptized..I left the catholic church because I wasn't happy with the way the church handled a lot of things that put me off. I looked around for another religion that would give me peace. Then I found the Christian church. My daughter was a member, but I believed in the Blessed Mother and didn't want to ignore her. I was told not to pray to her because she was human and she didn't have any thing to do with Jesus. Now I try to believe in both. Long story short!!! I can't get out to go to church or get communion. I have no one to get me there. I have the brown scapular and Marys medal. I believe in God and pray all the time. Thanks for reading this and I hope God understands me. God bless you.
God understands everything and keeps everything in mind even the environment you grew up in that helped shape you. Fr. Alar had a good video on this I watched just yesterday. Problem is I watched 3 yesterday 😅. It was either explaining the faith what is hell like and how to avoid it or it was explaining the faith what happens at death please be prepared. Both were very interesting and I'm sure you'll enjoy both.
The catholic church is the Christian church established by Christ. Heretical cults derived from Martin Luther protestant pride are separating you from Christ. You should call your local parish so you can make a good confession and receive the eucharist.
Contact a local Parish. They may bring you Communion after confession, if you truly come back home to the Church!

Father Chris, I am a member of the Divine Mercy family, but I have always been reluctant to ask you for anything. I watch your shows all the time and gain a great deal of knowledge and understanding of our faith even more. Today I come to you with a great problem. I sincerely need you to pray that the animal hospital my daughter runs, is in desperate need of surgeons. Right now there is only one and he seems to having a mental breakdown. I told her that I will pray for her and I am positive that Jesus will always hear my prayers. I know that your prayers are very powerful as well. I would also beg of you to please pray for my daughter who has to undergo surgery on the 16 th. of this month. Please pray that the results of her surgery come back negative. I have received your flyer, so I will write my check and have someone put it in the mail downstairs since I am in a wheelchair and do not leave my apartment, since my right arm does not work too well ever since I fell and broke my shoulder last November. I am seventy five years old and only 90 lbs. so it’s only Jesus , and I who work together and get things done whatever needs to be done. My faith is strong, thanks be to God.
