Tom S, the chrono is running & think when you reset to 12 it will have lume underneath it and not be so noticeable. Is odd that what looks like a perfect circle of lume has come off the chrono second hand over the years..
I understand this video is a few years old but I would really like to comment. Thank you for the excellent video. I would guess I am very late to buy this beauty but I already have a Le Jour with the 7736 movement, basically the next model up with one more sub-dial. I got it used, for free, in the late 1980's and have often worn it daily over the years. Every once in a while someone that knows watches notices it and it gets great attention, but even from those ignorant of watches it gets many compliments. But what it more important, I think, is the fact that it is an excellent watch. My watch face is still vividly black, not faded, but you can see the patina on the tritium lumen, which has a LOT more age shoring than yours. I am not a watch guy, but I am a "gear guy" and have several good watches. I play pool with a 1973 Joss, write with a vintage Mont Blanc, wear vintage Le Jour watch, wear a 1980's Schott leather jacket and 1992 Georgia Boots engineer boots...etc. I have five motorcycles, two of which are Harleys, and I have never bought a new motorcycle in my life (I am 58). Such a watch as this transcends "classic" and "vintage" and to say it "wears well" is an understatement. I am a physician and lifestyle biker, so I definitely march to the beat of a different drummer. I can't invest all of myself in any one thing, and at the same time I cannot do any one thing with mediocrity. This watch has been to 9 countries and 15 states with me, through nursing school, med school, and beyond. It's in beautiful condition and I have never had it serviced. I know, hard to believe, right? I had it checked for accuracy by a good watch maker recently. He could not believe it had not been serviced since I got it in the late 1980's. To use a cliché: Apparently the darn thing still runs like a (new) Swiss watch. Yes, it should be serviced. And I will have that done. But, like leaving one my Harleys with a mechanic I am very protective, several certified mechanics have screwed up my bikes. I just don't have time to work on them myself anymore, but sometimes I am forced to because even people with "certifications" and experience tend to be mediocre today, it seems to be cultural. So, I might just learn to do the service myself. Crazy? maybe so.
I have a Wakmann chronograph with this 7733 movement. What would be the average value? I'm not selling it. But I'm sending it in for refurb. I want to insure it.
4-600 dollars depending on the condition. theres no need for insurance because its not worth that much, but im sure home insurance would provide necessary coverage
I think it's up to the cut of the shirt, normally I leave the last button on my slim fit shirt undone for more movement, but when the shirt is straight then it doesn't make much of a difference whether the last button is done/undone imo.
Beautiful dial. Like really freaking beautiful. However, I just saw the price. hehe. Not even the Le Jour models made by Heuer sell for nearly that much. Those Heuer made Le Jours are really undervalued though. Few people really know about them. Best of luck!
Hopefully whoever bought this knew that it had been re-lumed. Tritium does not "take a charge", old tritium does not end up that uniform shade of green, and that dial clearly says Swiss Made T.
Quite frankly I appreciate any vintage watch, I can appreciate the simplest & even cheap watches if they are clean & well taken care of. One of the things I believe is very unappreciated is an old metal band. They are smooth never grab the hairs on your wrist. So much thought went into the engineering when you put one on its as though it is not even there. You should learn to appreciate the era as well as the watch. Expansion bands went down hill in the 1960's & frankly ruined a good watch
You guys really know how to spice things up and talk the talk to make any watch so enticing!!
Beautiful! Thank hole in the second hand would drive me crazy though, but that dial is the goods.
Tom S is the hole supposed to be there originally? It isn't even at the center
Aria Kowsarian the hole is from the deteriorating of the lumed lollipop hand.

Hello everybody!
I'm curious to find out what this one sold for.
I checked the website but it is not displayed.
Thank you very much.
Le Jour is the export name of Yema.
Hey Christian, do you have any doubts about the Yema Rallye Andretti being worthy in someone's collection? What do you think?

@theoandharris do you remember where this strap is from?@UCqhmd5fM8oJrJnahTxaMUUA
I have one of these given to me by my Grandpa. It just sits in my safe.
You should wear it.
Where do you get your oxford shirts from?
Hey Christian nice watch. Might want to check that your shirt buttons are done up properly for your next video though, lol.
wait, isn't it how it is supposed to be done?
Don't know about you but I do the shirt buttons around my stomach up. 3.58-4.05
I think it's up to the cut of the shirt, normally I leave the last button on my slim fit shirt undone for more movement, but when the shirt is straight then it doesn't make much of a difference whether the last button is done/undone imo.
Wait shit, now I know what you mean!
nice watch but 2025 is a lot of chess. great video and watch
