Holy shit the soft ball responses in this clip are insulting. This kid rips submissions with intent to break limbs on purpose, and you guys are excusing him as just "being a 16 year old kid"? Mason arm-barred the 16 yr old in about 5 mins. It looked like a grown man "manhandling" a child, which essentially it was. Mason immediately went North-South and controlled him there until he set up the arm bar. I don't think the kid even touched Mason's leg. He gets up and celebrates it like he has zero remorse for it, which is a shame, seems pretty sociopathic if you ask me. "There may be a little bit of (a target) but maybe not," Shahgholi said. "I think everybody is just kind of mad, but what do you expect from the jiu jitsu game? People are training to break each other."
    What a piece of shit.

There isn’t a single post you’ll find of Pat gloating about “breaking / tearing” peoples ligaments. UFC FightPass made that clip go viral.

Agreed, I've never seen your son say that once on social media. This interview seemed decent up until Mason said that he would say that. Or that he "likes" to break people.

Back in the days Martial Arts Instructors would actually hurt you to demonstrate their rank and superiority over you. Nowadays there's podcasts that like to complain that people are competing "a little bit too hard". Competitors tell you that "you shouldn't go hard, while they GO HARD!!" They want to shame you into loosing so that they can win........
