The mixing is better here than the grand final. In the grand final the whisper-vocals are too far buried.
I feel (VERY) sorry for Luke... He deserved so much more. I feel there was like a mix issue with the sound, bc we just can't hear him in the arena. He has a really good voice, but the mike was too low. The jury score was sadly expected, but the televote just killed all my hopes for the top 5. The running order didn't help too : 3rd in the sf, 5th in the grand final ; This is really unfair.
I've never heard something so revolutionary, original, creative, complex and sophisticate before. This is more than music, this is a true piece of art, and Luke is born to perform (All his discography is a pure treasure, i invite you to listen to it). The message, the stage, the choregraphy, the melody, the charisma, the vibe... Everything was perfect (apart the sound and the running order).
He was and still my winner and I don't regret to have voted for him, even if he doesn't appeared in my country's televote. The quality is more important than a simple number of points. Serbia, you got my heart this year, keep sending experimental songs, please.

I'm always sad when really unique songs like this don't do better. It feels as though they inadvertently incentivize "safer", less interesting entries. But to be fair, 2023 was incredible strong for Eurovision and it was inevitable good songs wouldn't place well.

Listening to the ESC album drives me nuts first because Luke is that far down the list before I get to it AND I need this laugh in the studio version. National performance was perfection. The camera and mic at ESC were not it. So glad I have the national performance here to go back to at least
