I love that when the swedish comenators were presenting austrias song they said something along the lines of "This is actually not the first time Edgar Allen Poe has been mentioned in eurovision, he was actually mentioned in a song in the 90s, and if you knew that youre probably not entirely heterosexual"
😂😂😂😂😂😂
Edward af Silen is a gem
@@cutecrazycat2wcscw
R/BrandNewSentence? XD
Also when they presented Denmarks song, they said something along the lines of ”This guy got famous on TikTok, and if you old folks don’t know what TikTok is, it’s an app where you can learn how to dance and how to make a bomb” or something along those lines😂
3:44 Loreen should be careful, the guy who runs the Hydraulic Press Channel is Finnish
😂😂😂
😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
HAHAHAHAHA
HAHAHAHAAH that's brilliant!!
OMG I love that channel! Nice to see two of my main interests melding.
La Zarra’s performance was more French than France itself
To steal someone else's line, and they only had to go to Canada to find her!
As a French I am utterly bored with the fact that we can’t seem to think about anything else than Edith Piaf wannabe for ESC 🙄🙄 (yes I’m looking at you Barbara Pravi)
@@adameleliott1777 LMFAOO 😭 it’s even funnier when you remember La Zarra is not even French
@@adameleliott1777 barbara pravi was great and i'll fight anyone on this
@@WhitePaintbrushshe was great but something different might be nice, the band singing in briton was original to say the least but not everyone seemed to like it
Every time I watch these it's always the British presenters that can bring out the sass without being awkward or offensive, and I love it.
The Bri'sh, like ze Germanz, like to pretend they have no idea what humour is.
Both are damned liars.
Graham is literally a coward cause he said the worst things behind a microphone and then he barely spoke during the whole night
@@giovanniscg8540 what.
@@giovanniscg8540 Damn maybe it's because in this case he was representing the entire contest, rather than just the UK, so he had to reign it back a bit. Calm your tits.
@@giovanniscg8540 right, because national commenter and official host are totally the same contract 😐 you really think the showrun'ers were like "you can improvise all you want, make sure to make comments that might anger whole countries!"
"Europe, you wanna see me dance?"
"Not really, but that's not going to stop you, is it?"
“You wanna see me dance?”
“no”
“You wanna see me dance?”
“No”
“EUROPE YOU WANNA SEE ME DANCE?!”
“NO!”
-dances anyway-
@@iridiumSerpentI screamed that as well while watching her video premiere.
When she danced my husband sent me that gif of a dog dragging itself along the carpet to scratch its bum.
I loved her song a lot but the dance break did make her look like she was airing out her crotch to the crowd for about 15 seconds
I think I actually heard someone shout out "No!" at that moment
why does it look like this year all the artists agreed on making eurovision an iconic meme compilation to laugh at💀
YOUR MEMES ARE HILARIOUS
They even made Germany last again.
Because laughter is important for your mental health! :)
Ikr
Idk but it made this my favorite year ever.
4:23 "If you are going to have a nightmare tonight of being attacked by a brussel sprout, it would be this man's fault."
Graham seriously had to CHA CHA Charcoal roast out of here. 😂
Why only roast him, not Loreen?
Hatari’s vote delivery is everything, and so is Dadi FINALLY GETTING TO PERFORM.
IKR, for both!!
Imagine Finland won and then Kaarjia played again the song. The end would be the greatest finale of all songs 4:43
Exactly, the crowd was robbed the greatest final ever
SO TRUE, just imagine what could have been to go home after being surrounded by the rainbows again 😢
Same i am still heartbroken. But when I was hearing cha cha cha at his Europe tour this year I calmed at least a bit
And, the way he was so dissapointment, because he promised that he would win(to everyone in Finland) I personally think Loreen stole the win from Finland!!!
Can we stop with that? I liked cha cha cha better but Loreen won and she deserved it.@@Kit_For_Life
i have never regretted living in germany more than when i couldn't vote for lord of the lost. they were so good it was a CRIME that they scored so low (of course it was also criminal that kaarija lost to loreen, but y'know)
Germany deserved so much better. Love from Finland!
We all know that the jury has no taste. Käärijä deserved to win. Cha Cha Cha is sooo much better than Tatoo.
I feel that Germany got so little points because the sound was, to put it mildly, shitty. You couldn't hear the vocalist half the time😮
(I am also German btw)
The words you are looking for are " bad audio mixing" and it wasn't the only song that had it this year
@@LiveErrors True, Serbia suffered horribly from that too, literally couldn't hear the singer most of the time?? I don't know who was responsible for the audio but they should be fired.
Yeah, Germany shouldn't have been last, I also don't get, how Mae Muller, who can't even sing, could get more points from the juries than Lord Of The Lost. The UK should have finished last. Or alternatively, Spain.
10:10 HOW HOW HOW did this not win, I was genuinely moved when the entire crowd was chanting in unison
There has to be a jury to balance out goofy fan popularity vs quality of song/performance.
@@EthanParmetItsDaBunnywell then why did they not do their job? Cant say that loreens performance was anything to wow about… :|
Tattoo is so forgettable. Like, I can't even remember it. It was so dull that it didn't even seem from Sweden. One of their worst entries and they won... Over Finland's Cha cha cha. Outrageous
@@santividal9387 just because you can't remember it, it doesn't mean it's "so forgettable". Plus this is only your opinion. Look at the real numbers: Cha Cha Cha has 132 million streams (on Spotify), Tattoo has 469 million (still on Spotify). People like Tattoo way more, Cha Cha Cha fans were just louder in that moment
Juries are boring and don't like interesting unconventional stuff, that's why. He rightfully won the people's votes!
4:23 _"If you have a nightmare tonight that you're being attacked by a dancing brussels sprout, it'll be this man's fault."_ 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 's gotta be my favourite line.. I love Käärijä 💚
5:53 *ok queen has arrived* ~hahah, yes she friggin' has ✨
6:02 _"The song is called Blood & Glitter, there's two things that are VERY hard to get out of carpet."_ This man is a legend xD
finally someone agrees with me about those unnecessary dance breaks! Of course they're all good dancers, but I don't need a dance performance at a song contest! If you can't give a good show without a dance break then it just seems like they knew the singing wouldn't be enough for people to vote (except for Brunette, she has a great voice!)
Agreed! I didn't think dance breaks were gonna be overdone within 1 year of Chanel doing it but here we are. Especially Israel's is annoying as shit, "dO yOu WaNnA sEe Me DaNcE" no stfu this is a song competition not your dance recital.
Gives me zero interest in actually listening to the song again too lmao.
Yes, I'm also not in favor of dance breaks, and why does it always have to be women? Why not Andrew Lambrou or the Swiss guy or whoever else....and after her dance break, she didn't even sing anymore, at least Poland and Armenia did. But with Armenia, I mean, it's not even a dance song, it's a slower number that goes faster, but it really doesn't fit into that song. Why? I care about singing and music, not about dancing.
At least we (Finland) gave Germany 5p and Australia 8p :(( I voted them! Glad that Finland likes rock haha
Finland 🤝 Germany 🤝 Australia
you guys have funny tastes, i never thought that a country could like rock and metal this much
As an Aussie, I have to confirm I love Finnish and German music A LOT!!! ❤🤘
I‘m so glad you noticed similarities between unicorn and blackpink songs, one part especially sounded like straight out of a blackpink song and I thought I was the only one noticing this because I haven’t heard anyone talking about it yet xD
Me too, i noticed it just on my first watching, especially in dancing part
The ending part of it reminds me of something from Colorful Stage game… nevertheless, still loved it!
The dance break part is definitely reminiscent of Kill This Love
@@almightykellus2585 gosh, me too, when I first saw it, me and my blink friend almost throw the TV out of the window🥲
Israel stealing from Palestine AND South Korea?
What I love about Eurovision is that there are so many different styles of music. And you get to discover to many new favourites.
I think Germany was def underrated this year, their song slapped
FR
as an Aussie I can confirm that we always hop around like kangaroos
finland should have won and germany and australia should have been way higher.
You are correct.
Australia were robbed
Finland was robbed by the juries, Austria, Germany, Australia and Spain were robbed by the public, we can't have nice things at all 😭
I have the theory that sweden only won, so that Abba can do their last live show for esc 2024
As an Aussie, I was so proud of Voyager. I saw them all not too long after and gave them all a giant heroes hug!!! ❤ I was so upset about Germany 🇩🇪 And Finland will always be the winner in my mind 💚
i was actually shocked that blanca paloma only got FIVE POINTS from the televote, i wanted her to have a good score!
I'm from spain and i was shocked she got that many points in total xd
I was one of the points
It was because in Spain the number of phone didnt appear :( I'm from Spain
@@LaValesitaa because countries cannot vote for themself, that's why the phone number to vote for Blanca Paloma did not show up in Spain
@@jesttobagnet no, no, no I know we cant vote for our own country. WE WANTED TO VOTE OTHER COUNTRIES BUT THE STUPID PHONE DIDNT APPEARED :((((((
Of course Graham had to give us such great commentary again like any other year. Now that he can FINALLY host, we saw his full glory!
I'm so happy he finally got to present. Hopefully this will be a turning point for the UK to take eurovision seriously again :)
Bro after Italy's performance ended, the German presenter said he was was very touching in his "sweater vest of Christmas ornaments."
I remember that XD
Still love how in the cyprus jury vote when presenting the 12 points, u can hear the audience going: GREEEECE XD
7:21 IT'S ROGER TAYLOR!! HE IS DRUMMER OF THE QUEEN
This didn't click and I was gonna point out that the queen has been dead for a while lmao 🤣
Yeah idk why so little people are talking about roger the absolute legend
I can't stand the guy 🤢
The difference between ✨️🥰host graham🥰✨️ and 🙄💅commentator graham💅🙄 is everything
Experiencing YNWA in a Liverpool city centre pub was a religious experience, we could hear people singing from down the street!
I was in the fan village, people were in floods of tears.
you shouldve heard australias commentary, with joel creasy falling in love with every hot guy, especially italy
Was watching the BBC commentary with a couple of Brit friends and missed the Aussies coverage.
But that definitely explains why Aussie juries gave our love to Belgium.😂
It was so entertaining
Yes, I'm pretty sure, it would have been cool to watch. I'm from Austria, not Australia and our commentator wouldn't even bother to go to Eurovision and comment it live from the arena. And his commentary broadcast from Vienna also was rather bad, but I missed most of it, because I watched it live on the Eurovision UA-cam channel anyway.
Love how you had small clips for the people presenting the judge points... except Hatari's drummer, he was so iconic you couldn't skip anything
Seeing Subwoofers in background of this Eurovision was best thing that happened on whole event 😂🤍
4:32-4:33 THAT AUDIENCE THO.
Im DYING at the panini press comment cuz thats exactly what my mom said while we were watching live
When Loreen was going up for her winner’s performance, Mel Giedroyc said something like “well she’s getting back in the waffle iron.”

He seems like such a nice guy. I met his sister in law in the queue for the toilets while Moldova was on and we had a dance and a chat :)
Can confirm he's lovely. He's battling some current health troubles and still smiling. He's incredible
The audience wanted a different winner ❤
not everyone lmao. so many of us wanted loreen to win❤
You're right my friend, you are right! 🟢🟢🟢🟢🟢🟢
And a different winner we should have gotten
@@ShortmansyndromexdI completely agree, alika deserved it
No, Loreen was overall the better singer, performer and artist.
It’s been 4 months and I’m STILL not over schwitzerland bringing a guy singing “I don’t wanna be a soldier”. THE BIGGEST THING THE SWISS MILITARY HAS DONE IN THE PAST YEARS IS SIGN A PEACE CONTRACT WITH LIECHTENSTEIN. I don’t think you need to worry my guy
it was quite literally the most tone-deaf thing they've done in ESC (not tone deaf as in the actual singing) like sure the swiss have conscription but it can be served by other things than joining the military (firemen for example) so a song about no to wars from a country at no risk of ever actually being at war where you dont actually have to join the military during a time where one of the other participants is being invaded
0:52 proud to say ive seen this awesome band live this year in kyiv:)
slovenia looks like every harry styles era
Mother SC and Cha Cha Cha were my favorite honestly, i mean Tattoo is good but if was there and i would have instantly vote for either of them (the two i mentioned), like the performances were insanely good

finland tho got so robbed
Second place and u call it robbed? What about Spain? France? And so many other songs. Y’all insane aren’t you?
Quite the opposite, cha cha cha is a horrible song but it still got to the 2nd place.
no lmao
@@famemosterrrrr what about televote?
I feel like people shouldn't be allowed to win Eurovision twice, especially since her song was some mid pop song which will be forgotten in 2 years time. Finlands song on the other hand, is always gonna be a staple in Eurovision history
Thank you for acknowledging our glam kings were robbed so hard😭🇩🇪
I was so incredibly upset. I've been a massive fan for ages here in Australia and when I saw they were representing Germany I was so excited!!!! Chris voice... it does things to me 😂😂
2023 was such a good year!! the songs, the stage, the performances, the hosts etc were all great! I had such a difficult time choosing who to vote for
seeing andrew lloyd webber on that screen was a genuine jumpscare i was watching with friends and we reeled back from the screen
Never comment on YT but this video was outstanding. Best recommendation ever. After there being so much negativity flying around it was nice to watch a positive, fun video. Never stop 🙌
THANK YOU!!! ❤🎉
man, i miss eurovision 2023 so much...
i honestly thought that this years evrovision was much less entertaining than the previous years but this year i didnt have that kind of comptetitive feelings cuz there were lots of countries that i liked to listen and whoever won will be fine for me. I was happy that after 5 years my country Croatia was finally in the finale so this year was also somewhat special...until the voting part started. I couldnt belive that there were so many amazing songs at the last place and were given by the jury votes such a low place. I didnt have any problem when it comes to voting from all around the world i actually supported that part but the jury votes...i never liked them and never will since they mostly are pushing sum countries for better political reasons rather than good performance and songs.I truly love Loreen and i belive song Euphoria was one of the best and most known Eurovision songs in the entire competition, she was a cultural reset but this song Tattoo was just not it..not for a first place that is. Shes definetly in the top five tho. the audience wanted Finland this year no matter if theres someone who doesnt like his song we all knew that ppl voted a lot for Finland and if it wasnt for jury votes yet again ( that purposely pushed Sweden in the first place since next year will be 50 anniversary of Abba so they pretty much knew who to send this year that will put Sweden in the first place ) next year Eurovision would be held in Finland. Im happy that Croatia was placed on 13th place i honestly thought that we would be on the last place since the jury wasnt giving us any hopes at all but yet again the televotes helped us a lot. Also no matter how much i dont like Germany this year i still think its insane that Poland had more points than Germany or Serbia that i truly loved to see this year. Spain, France (also i loved the moment when she showed a middle finger slay queen), Austria,Cyprus, Portugal, and many MANY other songs deserved so much better in this competition. i cant belive that this year they are not even hiding the fact just how much politics are connected into this show (i mean we all knew that already but at this point its just disturbing and sick) so i really hope that maybe one day they take the jury voting off for real. they are really destroying the competition. just leave the televotes who cares about the jury voting since they always tend to rob someone. Congrats Sweden but man....
I will start saying yeah Eurovision was and is 50% about politics but now y’all so negative about the jury vote. Do you know how many successful songs won because of the juries? Arcade 2019 was voted mostly by them yet became a huge hit. As we speak now it’s close to 1B streams on Spotify. Unlike Mahmoud who was liked by the Eurovision audience that year only. I will not bother to give more examples because you can see it with ur own eyes but all the winners have won because of the juries but now u aren’t happy. Loreen is a powerhouse no matter the year, if she participates again she will WIN again. Y’all act as if she didn’t had 243 points from the world. Y’all forgot that she is loved by the world as well. Y’all forgot she is super talented. Eurovision is a song competition and the juries were the first thing we had back then. Until sadly they decided to give us the right to vote as well. You should be grateful u can vote for your favourite artist. If jury vote stop existing in the show. Y’all gonna vote only the songs that are fun and corky🤪 what about lyricism? Stage presence? Melody? Composition? Production? That’s why juries voted Loreen because she was the most professional out of all them that night. That’s why also Italy got a lot of points from them. Because they had really beautiful songs and meanings. Y’all thought people who have study singing/music would vote for this annoying cha cha cha? Now I think we should agree that juries are a little bit harsh but y’all unfair as well. You clearly don’t know how to vote. So maybe we should call it "popularvision" if y’all want ur vote to count only. We need balance. We need fun and quality. As of abba I want to know how much free time you had in ur life to think that as a possible reason for the juries to vote for Loreen? Like as if they couldn’t perform in Finland huh? Abba aren’t just Swedish anymore. They are international they could easily be anywhere. They had their moment this year as well. So don’t try to find reasons that was rigged or staged. Yeah Sweden is the golden kid of Eurovision but without them we wouldn’t have the Eurovision we have now. They love this show and they take it seriously. They are so happy hosting. I know y’all will forget about Finland when next year Sweden will make the best show ever. If u don’t like the results in a “competition" then don’t watch Eurovision. Since y’all that sensitive. Käärijä would never be that powerful as maneskin who won over the juries vote. Lastly your country being 13th because of televoting is my 13th reason why audience shouldn’t vote. I love Croatia and I hope one day they will win but no with this. Songs like cha cha cha and mama sç is why a lot of people don’t take Eurovision or us seriously and rightfully so.
@@famemosterrrrr bruh tattoo was a good song but the lyrics aint that deep honestly, she had a good performance just like france or other countries so we didnt lack with that. Just because u like more passionate songs doesnt mean that other ones are less good. Abba is international but hey THEY PRESENTED SWEDEN. Dont assume that sweden is lTHE ONLY ONE whos making this whole show going. There are many ppl out that that support loreen just like i do but still doesn’t appreciate the fact that its been over 2 years and we already know whos going to win. Of we knew already the winner what is the joy of watching this competition then? U like this year winner, thats great good for u, i dont, and thats it.
@@yomamma9069 the lyrics ain’t deep but the were written very beautifully and well produced. Also her stage presence was amazing. Abba represented Sweden but that doesn’t mean they couldn’t sing or make a tribute about them in any country. Even tho I don’t think anyone thought about 50th anniversary until Loreen won. Just because you aren’t happy about her winning. My girl deserved it so much. Also yeah Finland would be the winner? Where? In your own world maybe.
I’m happy for the results but this is Eurovision because a competition isn’t fair at all. Either suck it and don’t act like a pussy or don’t watch it ever again. Like it’s so simple😌 people gave 5 points to Spain and 386 points to Finland and now u demand only public voting. Y’all must be insane. You also voted for Ukraine last year to make ur not political statement since u say that juries vote for politics🙂. Think again if we don’t need the juries.
I think both of y’all are partly right. However it’s a song contest made to bring people and countries together, sure Sweden was “favored” but it doesn’t mean that nobody had a fair chance at this years Eurovision. The songs were great, I’m Croatian and was rooting for Sweden Finland and Croatia. Kärjää and Loreen don’t need this hate rn. And Diaaaa don’t make fun of other countries for what kind of song they had.
How long have you been typing?
Dadi finally being able to perform live, the shout out from San Marino (HumCo!), and baby (Käärijä)! What beautiful memories. 🥰 Yeah, and then there’s the Estonian and Icelandic spokespeople. 🥵

We all know who the real winner is... CHA CHA CHA!
9:27 that man makes me feel things
Jann could’ve won everything tbh
Have you seen his live performance? Maybe he would have taken vocal lessons and could have improved in Liverpool, but it needed to be a huge improvement, in order to even make it to the final. And even if sung by a better singer and rapper, I don't think, it would have won either, it's just not memorable enough. Maybe it would have qualified, though.
I can tell your music preference by the time you dedicated to each act.
I watched with my American roommate this year and the first third of the entire thing she just stared at me like I was a mad man LMAOOO

Germany being ranked so low is a crime! You guys were awesome
France's opening shot was the best in 2 or more years
I love this kind of videos!
I enjoyed every bit of that 😄
I thought they were so funny and great hosts, I’ve always loved Graham. But didn’t really like it when Hannah lost her patience sometimes, with audience ( most of them wanted Finland to win ) and also Hatari, that was hilarious! Hatari didn’t use more time than some of the others really
Yeah, and I hated it, when she lost her patience with Hatari. She really should cool down her temper and learn to be more patient. Can't she just wait 10, 20 seconds until he revealed himself? So rude. She was definitely my least favorite host this year. And why is she so tall? And who is she even, I knew the other 3 hosts before, I've at least heard of them, but I didn't even know, she existed until she wss announced as one of the hosts.
I actually thought she mamaged the crowd really well, lots of times they were talking or chanting over the presenters. While i understand being excited, they have a show to present and a time to keep. I thought the Icelandic spokesperson was being a bit pretentious and taking too long, so fully agreed with them trying to hurry him up.
Finland or Poland need to win next year in ESC 2024 cuss 1) Finland is itching for an uprising considering their musical taste being superior and 2) Poland's initial entry Jann will top the fucking charts with his musical genius if the jury actually allows him to perform like he should of this year.

How has no one noticed that only 3 of the Czech girls had microphones

I noticed it, not back then, during the live performance, but later on, while watching UA-cam tops.
3:52 the biggest meme in my school is that why is loreen between two sandwiches😭
The ciuto tuto song sounds like a disney animation song from like moana
4:30 "if you have a nightmare or a angry brusslesprout, it's this man's fault," 💀💀💀💀 gotta love the britan commentary
That "oh hello" at Cyprus reminded of how even my country's commenter, who I'm pretty damn sure is straight, was down for that man
I love the text-edits
i love the fact that the voice over called joker out 'the scooby doo cast' in their intro on the roof 🌞 they're so true for that
Imagine a contest where ahuge staging with meaningfull lyrics and badass instrument playing gets less points than a simple ballad. Germany on last plase was political.
Maybe you're just biased? What makes a ballad "simple" or have less worth than a rock song? I'm also not sure how instrument playing comes into this since none of the instruments on stage are actually plugged in... the political thing was funny though 😊
@@solarprogeny6736 Not every ballad is simple, but quite a few ballads that get to Eurovision have such generic lyrics that I could get AI to write it.
Germany could send loreen and they'd still lose 😐 but hey at least lord of the lost got more fans
Or even worse, a song of a lady, who can't even sing. Never thought, I rooted this much for Metal or for Germany, but they really didn't deserve last place. The UK should have finished last, period. And actually, I thought, Germany would finish outside of the Bottom 5 this year, but nope. Why? I mean, I knew, it wasn't gonna be as successful as Germans themselves thought it was gonna be (Top 15, even Top 10, and I'm still laughing at a German UA-camr, who thought, they would get 12 points from Finland), but I never imagined, they would finish dead last again. And how could juries give them less points than Mae Muller, even though she can't even sing and therefore shouldn't have gotten any points from any so-called professional juries.
This year was so doomed. Like even the jokes can’t make it better. So much negativity.
How so? i think this year was exceptionally good
Best year to me.
Good year. Juries didn’t do anything wrong you want them to vote for barely singing turned into colorful lullaby song with one catchy phrase then sure.
@@Peter_File69 They didn't vote for many good singing acts either.
@@Peter_File69 I don’t really understand what are you trying to say but i said that because after the results the fans because really toxic towards Loreen because juries voted for her.
Nahh Unicorn was ICONIC. The Dance break slayed ❤
Can anybody else hear it - Lithuania’s song sounds like she’s singing ‘shoot up the toaster’…
Is that just me?
Duncan lorance❤❤ aaah he won Eurovision for the Netherlands. God love his song and I’m from the Netherlands so ahahaha
The dance breaks are NOT unnecessary
7:44 I love how it says it’s Dadi Freyr finally performing live, what was Iceland 2021?
One of the members had COVID and they agreed that either they all performed live or none of them did. What was shown on the nights they were supposed to be performing was (I think) a recording of their rehearsal.
I think Germany was really good - France too (Im from Poland)
Every time I hear the opening of Cha Cha Cha I will think of Oplila Bird.
aight who else here half a year after eurovision
