Super Mario Galaxy is a game that I've spent tons of hours in... But honestly, flooding the vastness of space with infinite water kind of changes the entire experience. It's like you can fly, but there are restrictions to your flight. So how exactly DOES it change things when Super Mario Galaxy is underwater? Let's find out!

Here's what you do, name each new ocean based on whatever continent it's submerging. That way, the post-flood societies will have an easy time dividing up borders and whatnot.

I really want to see a Super Mario Sunshine completely underwater video. The game's theme is literally water, AND flood actually reacts differently underwater. Although the modders would have to decide whether they wanted the water to be normal water or the water from Episode 4 in Noki Bay when you go to wash the Eel's teeth.

In Donkey Kong Jungle Beat on the Wii, when you look at the Kong Of The Mountain screen, you can see the silhouettes of Dread Kong, Katate Kong, Ninja Kong, Sumo Kong, and Cactus King. But on the left, there is another silhouette. I don't know enough about Donkey Kong to even guess who this last Kong could be, especially considering that those are the only Kongs you fight in the whole game.

Same here. What makes it really hard to tell is that most of the silhouette is cut off. You can only really see the two glowing red eyes (which every other silhouette has) and you can see almost all of the head, then the silhouette cuts off just below the start of the shoulders. But what's blocking it is the rest of the menu screen, and I don't have the technology to remove that (mostly because my computer is crap lol)
This is definitely one of those situations where you were focused on if you could, but never considered if you should...😂 nonetheless, an absolutely fascinating video!

I've been playing this games recently and forgot good they are. Never played galaxy 2 before but yesterday i started at 2pm and finished playing at 6am next day.
You know whats funny, Mario Galaxy was the first game I beat 100%. 6 months ago.
Try heading to Battlerock and Dreadnaught Galaxy, and see how the normally-linear level changes. I’d also love to see the different boss fights and Comet races in underwater mode too. Also, how would the Boo-suit and Flying Star fare while submerged? Matter Spatter Galaxy while underwater also has me intrigued.

I had a bit of a crazy idea for a new Super Mario 64 Challenge Run.
Why not combine two of your other runs together: "Every Object is a Coin" and the reversal of 'wet and dry' worlds -- flooding non-water worlds and taking the water out of normally wet worlds.
You mentioned some thins in the "Every Object is a coin" video, so I'll put some notes on that here: Star Boxes are immune. Toads and Mips should technically be immune, as well, since they're just glorified Star Boxes that you just talk to instead of bully to get a star out of. Bosses... they can be up to you. However, Bowser Levels (other than Dire Dire Docks) don't need immunity from "Every Object is a coin" changing anymore thanks to flooding. Dire Dire Docks obviously needs it because the combo of 'no objects' and 'no water' means the sub probably can't be boarded. Also, take out doors from levels like Boo's Haunt and Hazy Maze Cave so you can explore the entire level.
It'll be interesting to see what stars become inaccessible because of the combo of assets, and what assets are actually available to get because of either one of them (when compared to just one of the modifications solo). I'm rather curious, myself. And of course, see if you can't get Simple Flips to run it.

Swanky, i would like to know more about the book in the bottle-world of Noki Bay, where you train diving in order to clean the teeth of that eel. Can you do some sweet map hax (or something ;) to find out if this book has any meaning?
I actually covered it in a few videos. You can look for "Things That Developers Left Behind" for a full dive onto it, but I think I briefly touched on it in my Noki Bay Pixel Portal video too.
