I love the bassist wearing a Cure t-shirt; I only discovered this band this week and this was the second track I heard, I immediately thought this sounded like it could be a Cure track.

Yeah that bass line is very Peter Hook/joy division
There is something so raw about this song, the way they play it live is incredible. It feels like the band are so connected

So much better. No insult to Dan Carey, who's a really great and creative producer, but feel this song got a little bit constrained on the album.
This album is the Irish version of London Calling. Might as well named Sha Sha Sha, if not the whole album, Dublin Calling. Now that've been cheeky.

Singer needs some lessons n the mix sounds a bit off which is odd for kexp
Listen to their latest LP, singing is a lot more in tune
Also I think they aren’t trying to sing perfectly it’s just a vocal style
It would sound a lot worse if the singing was note perfect.
Thats just the brashness and honesty of it
They are actually good. Not amazing but it is hard for me to get into things.
Simetry curious to see if things have changed a year on, as I was the same - but now can’t get enough of them... particularly this track
