GIVEAWAY: Foam Brain Games is giving away an Acquisitions Inc PAX East 2023 Limited Edition D20 Set (bit.ly/paxeastd20) as this week's prize. Comment on this video before Nov 22nd at 11am for a chance to win.
And to think that not top long ago, they were fighting with spiderdrow Danielle.. Love this show, lore for a bit complicated around all these clones stuff, but managed to went through it 😅 Lasy episode with JC cut me deep, I literally cried, nie I'm glad we have CP back for episodes like this, full of action and teamplay.. I watch AI instead of any Netflix shows 😏
Acq inc was my first exposure to dnd and no matter how many real plays pop up I will always come back to this, you guys could do 100 seasons with increasingly convoluted plots and I would will follow along. Its insane how much these characters had me crying last session after all these years and I am ready to get punched in the heart in these last two episodes
To the audio designer/editor: your choice of the horn piece during Chris' Mordenkainen dialogue was thematically inspired. Thank you, it's the perfect background for the moment.
I have been so enthralled with this series. Especially episodes 7 and 8. Incredible writing from the DMs. Well done all! Can't wait to see where things go from here.
Omin thinking to himself he's watching the magic wrong. so good Everyone's playing there characters so well. 🧡Especially Jim with his uncanny ability to hit himself with his own magic missile, well done. I don't know how he gets his dice to sync up with his character like that. Truly a sight to behold.
This really doesn't matter and nobody NEEDS for it to be pointed out but the reason that DexMod is used as the tiebreaker for Initiative and assumed RAW so commonly is because that WAS a real rule in previous versions and 5e didn't provide rules to adjudicate initiative ties, which a lot of people wanted. For the old-heads, there wasn't any reason to stop using a rule that didn't conflict with the new system and a lot of people who never played a system where that was a rule picked it up as players and just kept using it themselves. Simple as.
Can we pls for the love of Asmodeus have camera shots of the figures & set pieces? I'd love to see the hard work that went in to making (what I assume to be) incredible scenes.
I've been watching Acquisitions Inc. since 2012. What an amazing series, and amazing people. So much inspiration for DnD homebrew campaigns. Looking forward for Season 3!!
The big reveal in this episode still has me reeling. Can't believe Chris waited to give us that. There's one episode left Chris! Gonna need a whole other season to wrap this up!
It's been a long time since I've been able to sit and relax while watching a whole series of D&D. I'm glad this is the game that I can look forward to every week.
This has been the best series yet! Thank you guys for all your work on this, as well as keeping me inspired as a DM/GM, this is the best mental rest and entertainment I’ll have had! I hope series 3 will be a thing! Much love! 🫡👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
The blunderbus is Vai, the cheese and goggles is Bobbie, boots of flight Evelyn, wands and cape Jim, war hammer Omin... That leaves the '76 Dodge tradesman conversion van for Certainty but I can't quite figure it out... I miss my old Dodge van.
My intuition was that the initial AI tome and... seal? were Certainty's, since she's always referencing her book. No clue about the van, though, unless it's HobOmin.
I love how this adventure seems influenced by so much of the stuff Chris and Jeremy must have been working on or hearing about. Obelisks from the Phandelver sequel, Asmodeus from the Chains of Asmodeus (granted he's been a player for a while), and Bigby from the new Giant sourcebook (I also think this dungeon is actually the corpse of a stone giant, based on Bobby's weird experience when he used stone's endurance). Acq Inc always tied in to product releases or storylines but it never really felt like a commerical - more just the DMs getting to put into use all the stuff they've been working on.
Hoping to finally catch up with this episode, the ~2 hour runtime of these has not been playing nice with my ADHD but I want to be there when the finale drops!
Hey folks, I've been confused about something. Since the end of the episode with the Flaming Fist raid on AI, I thought Auspicia was the big bad in charge of Dran Enterprises, and Portentia was friendly to AI, helping them with the Horn Enclave heist. But they've mentioned Portentia as the Dran Enterprises villain a few times now, and i think that was her fighting Certainty at the end of Campaign 1. Never watched C Team, so I've never met Auspicia besides her corpse after the Cloud Castle episode. Was there a big reveal at some point and Portentia became the main villain?
I am also confused on this fact, but I am just assuming Jerry retconned something in C Team and am running with it. I think one of the sisters turned out to be a shapeshifter anyway?
I was actually waiting for this episode. D&D will always be my favorite game. I hope one day to be able to run a campaign so well that it turns into an adventure that is used for D&D
Acq Inc is still the best D&D show. Loved it from day one, love it now. Can someone please find out who the background music is by and where we can get it from (especially the metal track).
Flag on the play! I know it's his table and everything, but I can't believe Chris let Xavier get away with that ridiculous plan with the pick and the pan.

Very cool!! Thank you!
i hope to win the dice but if i don't i'm getting them anyway. so pretty
Another great episode been watching for many years
Would be nice for Christmas 🎄 🙂
And to think that not top long ago, they were fighting with spiderdrow Danielle.. Love this show, lore for a bit complicated around all these clones stuff, but managed to went through it 😅

Same.
Facts
Same. Love it
This series makes me so happy, it's great to see Chris Perkins at the table more often.
I am not prepared for this series to end 😢
Bronze continues to be an excellent addition to an already amazing cast!
To the audio designer/editor: your choice of the horn piece during Chris' Mordenkainen dialogue was thematically inspired. Thank you, it's the perfect background for the moment.
I'm late but I came here to say this. Made the atmosphere seem so much more powerful
Acq Inc IS D&D to me. From the old cast to the new, love it all. May there always be a chandelier in your time of need.
I love this group of people so much. Jeremy and Chris are incredible with this back and forth series
I have been so enthralled with this series. Especially episodes 7 and 8. Incredible writing from the DMs. Well done all! Can't wait to see where things go from here.
It's been a delight having Chris Perkins back in the DM seat for this series. I'm sad that there is only one more episode after this.
Rewatching and love how Jasmine uses the narrative. Telling Omin “Everything’s going to be okay, Dad” at just the perfect times.
I've been watching/listening to Acq Inc from the original podcasts and Chris Perkins still manages to surprise and delight
During the recap I'm internally screaming "MAKE SURE YOU MENTION CERTAINTY CAN'T DIE! THE ANGEL'S BLESSING!"
Is that Bode or Baby Jim on Mike's shirt?!!!! Omg! I love both!!!
So sad to see the series go next week, this has been an excellent watch.
1:46:46 I thought these subsonic beats were from the car next to me.
What a goddamn treat! When is the next Series 3 kickstarter starting?
Omin thinking to himself he's watching the magic wrong. so good
Everyone's playing there characters so well. 🧡Especially Jim with his uncanny ability to hit himself with his own magic missile, well done. I don't know how he gets his dice to sync up with his character like that. Truly a sight to behold.
Congrats you won this week's prize from Foam Brain Games, please send your preferred email to jprice@penny-arcade.com
loving the co-DM thing, something I've dreamed about but never been even close to attempting...
All the gut punches this story has delivered... Was not expecting "Diablo II came out before I was born" to make the list.
That last episode was a tear jerker. Cant wait to see what this one has in store for us.

Thanks for the info 👍

It's such a pleasure to have Mike and Chris at the table.
I've been watching Acquisitions Inc. since 2012. What an amazing series, and amazing people. So much inspiration for DnD homebrew campaigns. Looking forward for Season 3!!
We need to get Xavier and Pat sitting on the same side of the table to see who can talk the DM into the most ridiculous, amazing nonsense.
I guess no one at this table was enough of a "C" Team head to say it, but I will: "Why not a long rest?"
The big reveal in this episode still has me reeling. Can't believe Chris waited to give us that. There's one episode left Chris! Gonna need a whole other season to wrap this up!
The Greyhawk legacy wizard dynamic is both intriguing and inspiring.
Series is amazing. Can't get enough and thank you for keeping combat interesting.
Chris is the best
lets gooooo!
Really love how they have assumed that Certainty's vision of the angle isn't an impossibility during that sequence in the ooze lake
Love all the doubt around angel's blessing. "You sure it was an angel? Did you see wings?" lol
:excitement intensifies:
last week was so good, and i absolutely love Chris behind the GM screen
Voluntary grapple, is that what the kids are calling it these days?
~47:30. Just got here.
Episode 9, but the thumbnails says 8. Truly a strange Majiq is in the air. Almost a hint of impossibility!
It's been a long time since I've been able to sit and relax while watching a whole series of D&D. I'm glad this is the game that I can look forward to every week.
Love this series! Thanks for doing this!
Finally started watching the series! Looks great

I love the flashback stuff! Great to see into their (new) pasts

This feels like a proper battle to finish out Perkins' run of episodes. Love it!
Finally caught up on the series, loving it!
I've enjoyed this season so freakin' much.
Mike's shirt is so cute - I wonder if the Chibi Jim is an homage to Bode from last episode?
Nope, Baby Jim comes from one of Mike's AI one-shots from several years back. :)
@@jessicazimmer8910 oh I knew that, I just thought maybe that's why he wore the shirt to this session! but yes I loved Mike's one-shot
38:20 Accusations Inc. 😀👍
"Are you younger than Diablo 2?" "No. No I am not. I am dust."
Now on the main stage: Voluntary Grapple!
Time to paint warhammer and listen to this, Hooray!
Hoping to finally catch up with this episode, the ~2 hour runtime of these has not been playing nice with my ADHD but I want to be there when the finale drops!
I've been watch acquisitions incorporated since 2010 and seen every episode all the way to this point can't get enough of these guys
I am much, MUCH older thabo Diablo II. I played the first Diablo on release. Excuse me while i go climb into my coffin
Love this series so much! I would love to know what the music tracks are that they use
Kickstarter for Acquistions Inc. The Series 3, when? 😃👍
"Piercing damage" was pure gold :D
Probably not *pure* gold, not on a streamer's salary.

That Auspicia was a fake, and Portentia is the one behind it. The real Auspicia had been trapped in a dungeon for decades and only recently liberated.
I love how Mike calls Drizzt “O’dirden AGAIN! 😂
This series is everything. I don't want it to end. :(
Great start to the episode
I cannot express how bummed I am that next Wednesday is our last episode 😭
I was actually waiting for this episode. D&D will always be my favorite game. I hope one day to be able to run a campaign so well that it turns into an adventure that is used for D&D
Can't wait to see what gut punch Jeremy has in store for the finale!
Yessss
So excited!
I love dice and Acq inc!
I can't wait to see what they do with Acquisitions Inc. after this!
Waiting for the angel to have been Asmo getting Certainty to die / take her soul so he can use her soul as blackmail to keep Omin to his deal
Bring it on!
This is an awesome start to Episode 9!
ASMODAYUM
Thanks for the video!
Higher Dex breaking initiative ties is homebrew for 5e, but was core in 3e or 4e, or both.
Acq Inc is still the best D&D show. Loved it from day one, love it now. Can someone please find out who the background music is by and where we can get it from (especially the metal track).
I will miss this weekly treat. It’s been great.
I love how you can tell the exact moment the DM started fudging rolls 😂
Forget Diablo 2, I'm older than Super Mario Bros. 2
Thanks
I want a new season 😭?!!
Pick a dove, any dove. Is this your dove?
Flag on the play! I know it's his table and everything, but I can't believe Chris let Xavier get away with that ridiculous plan with the pick and the pan.
9 pm in Croatia - perfect time for a new episode before going to bed 😀
Another great episode, so I don't want it to end. Also, I wonder what will come next after the season ends
I think it's been cool to alternate DMs every week. Harder to make workable at home.
One more? Let's go!
How are we already on 9?! That absolutely can't be right.
I'm all about them DICE!
Series 3 Kickstarter when? :D
The penultimate episode...sad that its almost done but excited to see the conclusion
bobbie and jim fast ball special!
This show makes me so happy, but also sad that there's only one more episode 😢
"Those are objectively evil towers."
"......and?"
Then she proceeds to Um, Actually about the LOTR lore.
Why does Evelyn not wear armor?
Oh, Lord. I played Diablo 2 upon release before lord of destruction DLC was even thought about.
16:19 Omin is not skipping leg day in his theory-crafting...
I need to ask where that banging rock music is from.
Holy shit…
How many years have we waited for this…
I Love having new Acquisitions Incorporated content each week, and I am going to miss it.
Keep going forever.......
