Just got a chance to watch this. Thank all of you so much for the years of entertainment (and occasional therapy.) One of the best episodes ever done. Ngl after the week I had 'having the clouds part and the light of Lathander shine down' was very cathartic.
So good. All these folks bring such great energy to the table. Been missing Holly, sassy Strix is so enjoyable. Hope she'll pop up more often in further seasons! And Chris as Mordy is the real red velvet cookie. 😊
These always make my night. While a part of me always wants more, I'm glad the intervals keep me waiting and wanting. Thank you! Epic....absolutely epic!!
The Acq Inc versus should be thrown into some published book or some content we can purchase. I really like them! Such great 'hype man work' for each of the characters!
I was sitting next to that guy shouting "INSPIRATION" the whole time while being wrong about it lol. I also wrapped up my Acq Inc campaign the day after I got home from PAX! Super sad, but also my wonderful players really nailed it the whole campaign and some of their little epilogues made me tear up. I was thinking about it the whole time I was watching this, which is why I mention it here lol.
Why is Evelyn's AC only 13 still? It was the same last show I watched I think. A 1st-level paladin's starting gear would give them significantly higher AC than that. Can someone explain what's going on with that, please?
@@karatos Nah, she has a 13 Dex. her AC has been ass for a long time, and i've never been able to figure it out. her art shows her wearing plate, which obviously isn't the case. i think i remember her saying in a game a long time ago, either an AI game or back in DCA, that there was a discrepancy with her art and her actual gear. but it's not like she hasn't had a chance or money to go shopping for a suit of armor over the years. you'd think Omin could at least scrounge up a rusty set of chain mail for his maybe-boo, but i guess he really is that cheap, lol. X)
@@kieran10202 what is a "+2 AC breastplate"? a breastplate as per the PHB gives a base AC of 14 plus Dex (max 2), which would give her an AC of 15. i suppose Bracers of Defense plus her Dex would give her an AC of 13, but i don't know why in the world one would choose to wear those as a Paladin when you have access to good armor.
They fact that these episodes make me feel i have inspiration for real life its something i will never be able to thank enough! Thank you Acq. Inc. for getting me into DnD and thank everybody for the amazing characters and episodes!
I was so looking forward to the animated recaps of old and not gonna lie was a little gutted that it was just a mash of the recaps, but still ove the story and all the crew amazing episode!
There was a time when I felt Acq Inc was flagging a little bit. Maybe I was just being a bit curmudgeonly and nostalgic for players past. But, Series 2 was some of the best D&D content I've ever watched, and this picked up right where it left off. Getting more laughs out of this lately than any other campaign. It was good to have Holly back, even for an episode. And, Sam Witwer's genre-savvy, 4th-wall breaking Mordenkainen is probably my favorite D&D cameo ever (who brought the 10 foot pole?!), so that was a great treat. Gratifying mix of the old and the new. Here's to another 16 years!
@@quirkthekenku Well this Jim and Strix are from different universes (or rather: Omin, Bobbie and Evelyn are visitors to their universe). This is not their original strix. It was said during this episode hence why this strix has vecna as a father :)
Man, whatever's happening with the sound is driving me crazy. I'm 30 minutes in and I've barely heard anything because some neurotic part of my brain is like "I DON'T LIKE THAT CLICKING NOISE AAAAH".
I'd much rather watch Perkins DM than Crawford. He seems to like the sound of his own voice a bit too much. From 3:02:16 to 3:06:29 it's just Crawford, four whole minutes of just the DM and that's the end. I really think the focus should be on the players.
It was the extremely momentous reward of a whole series and this live episode. It was the culmination of the players' accomplishments, so in that sense, it was very much about the players. Their reactions plainly showed how overjoyed they were.
You skipped a step. Step 1: Go on a live stage with crippling anxiety in front of hundreds of people, and do everything perfectly. Step 2: Bitch about shit that doesn't matter. I'm so glad to have Mike back. He can speak in Pig Latin and use the metric system on stage if he wants to. Ride or die.
And while we're on the subject. The "production" on the most recent season was insanely overdone. Caused similar issues and frequently the distorted voiced were indecipherable
I noticed that happening on the projector screens when I watched the game live. I hoped it wouldn't make it into the recording, but I guess it did. The main camera was on a tripod on a raised stage at the back of the room. I don't know if the ground shakes when people walk by? There must be a solution to that though.
@@user__214 I just feel like, with the amount of poorly allocated crowdfunding used in the regular season, perhaps some of it could have been used in post for stabilization of the PAX episodes if it's going to be an issue. Again, LOVE the story and the improv these guys do, but the production value seems to be decreasing while the funding increases. This many WotC staff members on stage should not be depicted so poorly on mass media with all the issues the company has exhibited in recent years
Thank you for having me as always!! This was such a good game, I hope you all enjoy it and sassy Strix🖤
We need more sassy Strix! And original flavor! Strix for president (of the Jim Darkmajiq fanclub)!
It was nice seeing Strix again.
Needs to be a more reoccurring character.
Missed you; so happy to see you back!!!
❤ love you Holly!!!
❤❤❤ It made day to see you were in this episode! I adore Strix so much. ❤❤❤

Perkins' Mordenkainen voice is unironically one of his best
Omen dropping verses at the end gets me everytime. Truly wishing for more great content from you guys.
great seeing Holly Conrad back, sure missed Strix and her dark humor
Mordenkainen Perkins actually miming taking notes throughout the memory offerings is fantastic lol.
One of the best Acq Inc episodes ever. Reminded me of Perkins' later episodes, a solid balance of hilarity, drama, and awesomeness.
Omg Xavier's costume is straight fire!
Edit: I didn't know I needed Chris Perkins as Mordenkainen but I am here for it!
In my heart, I've always known.
was so happy to see Holly!! :D
YESSS!!! Im a very simple man. I see an Acq. Inc. game? I click on the video.
I can’t believe I’ve almost been watching these for 20 years
Always so happy when these release. Then three hours later so sad that it's over and the wait starts again.
Why does this have to STOP?
Can we please just keep going?! ...
Thank you for doing a great job on entertaining me and us.
Brilliant. Everyone is on top form! A joy to watch. Thanks.
The energy they bring to the stage is unmatched
Such good, good folks. Great returns, an amazing story, and a rollercoaster of emotions. And Jerry's bars at the end? STRAIGHT fire.
as someone whos currently absolutely obsessed with bg3, and got into dnd because of acq inc, Im glad to hear they seem to enjoy the game aswell
Xavier with the pat rothfuss bullshit and I love it 1:40:25
Such a good ask ❤
Whoever reads this gets inspiration 🙌

Strix implying she saw Jim's show after he rushed in is a sweet little detail "it was fine!"
holy crap that ending!!!!! so awesome
¡Gracias!
It's always fun to see Holly Conrad playing DnD
Love to see evelyn and strix together again
Outstanding ! G'day from Australia !
This was definitely one of the best episodes of all time.
So good. All these folks bring such great energy to the table. Been missing Holly, sassy Strix is so enjoyable. Hope she'll pop up more often in further seasons! And Chris as Mordy is the real red velvet cookie. 😊
:excited noises:
YES!!!! I've been checking 3 times a day for 2 weeks! ♥️♥️♥️
same!!!
Loved the session, keep it up guys 3 hours of the best quality laughs, kudos!!
Great stuff as ever guys. Jeremy is an absolutely awesome GM. He has made me tear up a few times this season.
Easily one of the best AcqInc live shows of all time
+1
Look forward to your PAX vids every year. one of the highlights of my year in fact. thank you so much for being so entertaining and posting.
That one was so on brand it was insane.
These always make my night. While a part of me always wants more, I'm glad the intervals keep me waiting and wanting. Thank you! Epic....absolutely epic!!
Bloody amazing! When can we throw money at Series 3 again?
I require more Viari!
You'll have to find wherever the body ended up and presumably pull back out the bits that ended up in Bobby. Also presumably Pat is busy.
Another amazing Acq Inc live show.
I missed the Strix / Jim magical sibling squabbling.
The emotions in this one were killing me! Amazing show!
An amazing conclusion to the season. Thanks for the ride

Evelyn wears a +2AC breastplate , and used to have a set of +2AC bracers, but doesn't anymore, with a dex of +1, 13 sounds right.

@@herbalt my mistake. perhaps its a 5.5e rule change, as acq inc uses unreleased content
WOW, PERKINS..! Thank you for bringing your "A" game to the table..and by "A", I mean Rated. I pray for your mustache.
That was a good one!

Oh yes!
Here we goooooo!! So excited
Who would have thought that Asmodeus' true name was Just Ice?
Chris saying roll for surprise :)
I cant wait for the next!
I love Omen's... what's the opposite of a heel-turn? His dad phase is awesome and I'm here for it.
Opposite of a heel-turn is a face-turn! And yeah, definitely loving it!!
Great show!
Damn everyone looks amazing, but I especially love the new Strix variant! 🤘🏼
ROFL magical way to DM into combat "enough of this BS"
man the level of selfsabotage is glorious.. "the rock is in hell right?"
oh thats great..i thought somebody should play mordenkainen [claps] well played chris :)
Grabbing a 6 pack so I can watch this in one sitting
Is it that time already?! So excited!
Someone should have said, "we need Rowdy ROD-dy Piper..." at the beginning part.
I've missed Strix in any games. Greyhawk Strix is fine too.
I was so looking forward to the animated recaps of old and not gonna lie was a little gutted that it was just a mash of the recaps, but still ove the story and all the crew amazing episode!
a perfect PERFECT show. love this so much, and now is this new Asmodeus origin canon???
It's that thing when you fall on a poop knife and just die. Classic.
Sometimes I wonder how such wonderful things can happen in such a cruel universe.
I tentatively take a bite.
OH NO, the last video episode 10 is hidden in the playlist & I totally just got it spoiled from the intro
X'D
We need Aofel and Omin in a roll off. At some point Will is going to have to hand over his crown for bad rolls to Jerry.
Am I crazy or did Jerry do Bobbys poetry last pax as well?
Aren't barbed devils immune to fire?

I wonder if JCraw feels the pressure DM’ing a live Acq Inc with CP as a player!!!
"Stand and be counted" if ya in the middle seating
1:34:50 I was expecting a "Gay Betrayal Part 3!" 😂😂
Is Chris's Mordenkainen bit a Gary Gygax impression?
Season 3 when?!?!
They won't say anything definitive until the S2 backers/incentives have all been fulfilled
Getting wicked Jamie Hyneman vibes from "Morty"
I find the degree of rules lawyering to be sub-par. Allowing Jim's Magic Missile and Dragon Breath to both be cast in the same turn?
*clap clap clap
Barbed devils are immune to fire damage, but I guess its special fire?
👍👍👍👍
Princess!?!?!
Dude, Jerry, shhhhhhhhh!!!!!!!! A 15 and a 4 portence roll is awesome! An 11 is infinitantly less useful than a 4.
Mass Suggestion specifically says that you can't tell someone to immolate themselves.🤓
Think they can level up at this point? They've been level 3 for a long-ass time!
Crawford's a softie!
Since when is Vecna Strix's dad???
this is another strix

why do they have such low save dc's
