    Brandon, this is literally one of the best squat videos I’ve ever seen!!!! I use to have butt wink and a super big pelvis/hip dip into the bottom of the squat. What helped me was big mobility drills and stretching, with even body weight squats holding the bottom position, then pausing at the bottom of the squat with the bar and some weight, I eventually got to the brace and trunk cues worked on, storing air into the torso properly and this eventually makes me squat without a belt even now!!! Finally got a 315lbs squat for a max beltless! And your older videos really helped, I can always work on my squat and I feel your older videos preemptively helped me! Thanks a ton Brandon, best channel ever!

    The guy is no doubt a quad dominant lifter by default but now he's got stability. It's crazy how much our anatomy differs. Thank you brandon!

    Really great video! Once you guys taught me how to brace correctly it was like the weight really started to fly up... Learning how to brace correctly is a game changer.

    This is great. Will definitely try to implement some of these cues into my squat as someone who is also very quad dominant

    Thats a very useful type of a video. I would be interested in watching videos of you teaching main lifts to a person who never lifted before.

    This helps a lot. I struggle with ATP and sometimes feel my pelvis dig into my quads which hurts.

    Content is amazing as always man, would love to hear you talk on where and why any of your opinions might have changed over the years. Would also be interested your thoughts on what programming variables you think are most important to individualize over time, I know you have talked about overall training stress sensitivity and volume vs. intensity sensitive lifters, but a deeper dive and covering any other important factors would make a great video imo

    ok now how about for the polar opposite? someone not built for squatting (long legs, short torso) and over reliance on hip extensors with not a lot of quad tension. how can we fix someone like this?

  • @thegreatguy3829
    @thegreatguy3829 2 роки тому

    Damn. Wish you were my coach. Suffering from servre problems with my squats because of my essessive lordosis. Its hard to fix by yourself and in my gym the coaches are less knowledgeable than me

    Hey Brendan what do you have to say about this form: ua-cam.com/video/U85XvIg7ftc/v-deo.html
    My humerus and shoulder joint are very mobile and they just go back that far, and it has the stability of a press. I like benching like that more than all the other demonstrated ways.
