I love all of these options! I have not thought about co-living spaces before (although I've heard of hostels for years), but I really like the sound of them. It's always great when you are sitting at a hostel or a co-living space, and someone sits down near you or in front of you and starts chatting. There are always great conversations waiting to be had! Awesome video! I will keep these tips in mind for future travels!
It may be helpful to realize your own bias: you're a naturally pretty girl, and literally everyone will go out of their way to be nice. Fun video nonetheless
I took my first solo trip in Jan, within 24 hrs a meet the best group of people. Since then I’ve taken 2 other trips with them and a 3rd one is booked. I wish I would have gone for it years ago! I have a friend that wants me to meet them in Oaxaca for day of the dead. Ik you’re going to be there. Any chance you’re going to Puerto Escondido afterwards? Nervous about going from Oaxaca to Puerto Escondido solo. I’ve seen your vids doing so. They are inspiring me to go for it but still not sure
Greetings from Polanco. I live in a co-living situation but there are only three rooms here. I have a private room with private bathroom on the 6th floor in very nice bedroom and neighborhood. I've been dying to go to Puerto Escondido. I'm an older guy, married but living solo for the time being. Can you recommend a suitable hostel in Puerto Escondido?
@@mikebro1 Thank you I will look into it. My wife has visited me in Mexico twice, but she doesn't want to live here. We're currently trying to find suitable accommodations in Lincoln City on the Oregon coast. I'm originally from Seattle, no longer a good place to live.
Hello from Santa Cruz Ca! I’d love for you to do something like this for your older subscribers! Haha! I’m 51 and finally getting ready to start traveling and find your tips amazing! Just need to find similar accommodations for folks my age!
@@jennifersanchez4040Hi! I’m 53 and also have concerns about feeling old. Makes me laugh cause I definitely don’t act my age and most of my friends are younger. If you are young at heart, open minded, and not judgmental. Age is just a number. Go for it anyway ✨
Great video. Planning to move to Mexico in the next year or two and one of my biggest concerns is meeting people and making friends so I don't end up being one of those old dudes the police discover dead in his apartment when the neighbours complain about the smell.
This is great Crosby, thank you! I’ve always gone for the air bnb or hotel option as I love my own space but after doing more digging regarding co-living spaces, I’ve found some great and affordable ones in Gili Meno. Super excited!
Hi Crosby, thank you for this video it is honestly great information! I am moving away from my home country for the first time next month to Canggu and the thought of being completely alone can be daunting. Your tips will definitely help me out.
Great pointers. I’m 72 now- but have traveled a lot- since 18 years old. 1970. The friends and people you meet are what it’s all about.
One of your best videos so far Crosby, no doubt. Why? Because of the energy in your voice and the light in your eyes.... that is why we are here!
🥹🥹 that is so sweet!! Thank you!
