    When I grew my natural 4C Hair to a nice full afro that touched my shoulders, I was praising the Lord! I didn't think things could get any better until I saw a video talking about how aloe is a good pre-poo treatment. Well, I decided to try it, but I never washed it out, and I have been using it for over a year! Now, some people want to know how I make it. Tune in to see how I get the gel and make the oil I use to get the results I have gotten at 58. I hope it helps!

    Thank you for sharing this. And the more I see people rant on and on about 4c hair it really just makes me believe 4c hair is really just dehydrated hair. Everyone with afro textured hair has some curls coils or kinks when the hair is clean or clarified and hydrated.

      Ppl keep it dehydrated. I’ll admit I tend to keep my hair dryer because it’s been cut shorter now and I want to avoid applying heat to defy shrinkage. I’m trying with twists and two plaits on the sides

    Carolyn, thanks for this video. You can also eat the aloe vera plant. It's a bit bitter but you can cut out the insides, cut it up in small pill size, freeze those little pieces and take 3 or 4 pieces in morning or night as tablets and swallow with water. In that way it won't taste that bitter. It is great for your health.😊

    I used the aloe method last night and I absolutely love love love! I have always loved aloe vera to wash my hair with and to use it on my skin. I was so excited to see you leave it in! ❤I’m so inspired by you - I’m checking out your fitness videos next! 🙏🏽 Thank you so much!

      Hey there, as you can see, I am so behind in comments! I wish I could say that I knew leaving it in would lead to a good result, but I have to be honest that I was too lazy to wash my hair and I just kept it on for a few weeks, and then I was like hey! 😆 That started me on my long aloe plait journey! I have to be honest also that I’ve been praying for years that the Lord would give me a solution for black women everywhere to grow longer, healthier hair. This feels like a path to that. I’m going to keep praying. 🤗🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾 Anyway, I appreciate your kind words. Also, that fitness video, I don’t know how I’m gonna do that when my son has this equipment set up in the kitchen so I can take breaks from work or after work. However, I did think of you yesterday as I put a post on my channel showing, all of the favorite workout videos because someone asked me how I got my arms the way they are. Check that post out, which I did last night, and let me know if that helps. In the meantime, you’re quite welcome, and God bless! ❤️❤️❤️

    Happy Sunday Corporate Carolyn, today is my aloe day as well. This treatment has been a blessing during my transitioning from relaxer to natural (1 yr & 4 months in). Great Job ! on the video. I wash my hair once a month & do this treatment & plait my hair back up mid month( wear wigs daily). Hair is so much healthier & getting longer.

      Good for you, does it feel like or seem as though it has elongated your hair? I just don't know how to control shrinkage particularly after stretched out with a ReVair reverse air hair dryer. It's stretched but it doesn't stay.

    • @sheilamiller1064
      @sheilamiller1064 Місяць тому +1

      No, the hair doesn't stay elongated. I am okay with that since the hair is just braided up & stays under a wig throughout the week for now. The Revair would help with that for sure.

      @@sheilamiller1064 it doesn't? I don't know why I was thinking that Carolyn said the gel helps to elongate the hair and its natural state. With my dryer it is stretched but by the time I walk out of the bathroom it's starting to shrink again and I am not even sweating or hot Thanks for your response. Have a great day

    How often do you use the Aloe Vera in your hair, please?

    • @Corporate_Carolyn
      @Corporate_Carolyn  24 дні тому +2

      Hi there, sorry for the delayed response. I use it at least three times a month. So that means that I can go at least six weeks before I wash it without any bad effects so far. 🙏🏾

    Oh but I'm not a cook either and that looks a whole lot like cooking but I'm interested in trying aloe. I'm not good with a knife either my mother forbade me to use them. I'm moving from one workplace to another and I think you responded to a comment way back which I'll get to eventually. Thanks for your response.

    Aloe Vera does Grow Hair, she cleanly "Do Not Know What She Saying" . The longest my hair ever grow, is when I use Aloe Vera Plant.

      She did not say it doesn’t grow hair. She contended that she cannot speak for what it will do for others hair but that it has grown hers. My writing is paraphrased. Sorry!

      You’re such a gem. Clean your cutting board with vinegar and baking soda. If you leave it in the sink it will warp and buckle. Some people oil it just like a cast iron pan after use. Thank you so much for sharing with us🫶🏽🙌🏽🌟

      Thank you so much! 😇 Unfortunately, I am just reading this, and I have washed that board with dish detergent and dried it on a drying pad on the counter. Next time, I will use the vinegar and baking soda! Thank you for that! As much as I use aloe, it is really getting a workout! LOL

    Do you wash the raw aloe when you apply or is it safe to leave in?

    • @Corporate_Carolyn
      @Corporate_Carolyn  23 дні тому

      Hi there. Well, I rinse the aloe plant with plain water, and dry it with a paper towel. Although I cannot say if it is safe for you or anyone else to leave it in. I generally leave it in my hair for up to 6 weeks or so. Crazy I know, but I have not had any problems doing this.

      Oh wow, this is such a wonderful message! I really appreciate your saying this even if you are calling me a dinosaur on the low. 😂 I am just out here doing the best I can do to help in my long-winded, antiquated way. As long as it helps and the Lord allows, I will keep pushing! Thanks for the encouragement! God bless you too! ❤️❤️❤️

    Hello, I'm sorry. Did I miss something? Did you heat the aloe and the oils together on low? I noticed you cut the leftover pieces up into smaller pieces and then add the oils. Do you cook them all together on low heat and then strain? Thank you

    • @Corporate_Carolyn
      @Corporate_Carolyn  Місяць тому +1

      Hey there! I did mention that the skillet would be on low for 10 to 15 minutes with the pieces and the oils. However, I said so much that I can see why it might’ve been confusing! 😆 I then said that once the oil and pieces cooled, I would use a funnel to put it into that little travel container. It’s a lot, but it’s something that only needs to be done once every few weeks. ❤️
