    This one was super different from my usual racquet so it made for a fun playtest! Have you tried any of the new Tecnifibre racquets? If so let me know your thoughts! 😁

      Ι ve been using xtc 305 (previous model) for 6 months.I agree with everything you said!! I target and i send the ball wherever i want,i change directions , i defend easily and i returnt heavy balls, i serve better BUT it hurts my arm!XTC 305 is softer than RS , but its head heaviness make it feel heavier than it is!So in the 2nd set i feel tired and i cant swing the raquet!I changed recently to bladev7 16x19 but i have no power and control!(but my arm likes it ). Anyway , i m thinking to return to my XTC and set softer and thinner strings to reduce a little the SW.I ve allredy changed the main grip to a 7-8 grams heavier than the stock so now with solinco barb wire 1,25 the raquet is totaly balanced.Any thoughts about stringing (brand and gauge)? Nice video, you just said it all!

      Thanks for your comment Bill! I love seeing thoughts from people who have had a longer experience with the frame. Sounds like we agree haha. You could try going with a hybrid setup to soften it up. Why not go with more tecnifibre, they have the best multifilament string in the game IMO x-one biphase. Pair it with luxilon Alu power and should feel like butter!

      @@MikeKomen soft strings is the first issue but thinner strings is the second.If i go foe 1,15 or 1,20 gauge and not 1,25 that i have now,how many grams will it be lighter in the head and how many points will i reduce the swingweigh whitch is my main problem?Please give an example!

    Hey Mike! Nice review! I’m debating between a new pro staff v13, head speed pro or gravity pro. Possibly a yonex too… Idk what to get though and wanted to know your opinion. I play tournaments and hit with moderate topspin, don’t need much power either but enough to keep defensive shots deep and not hit the net when I’m tired. I’m currently on a 3 year old pro staff. Thanks!

    • @MikeKomen
      @MikeKomen  3 роки тому +1

      If you want to stick with what’s familiar you won’t be disappointed with the new pro staff. Based on what you said about keeping defensive shots deep I think the gravity does a bit better job at that than the pro staff. As for yonex I play with and live the vcore 95, worth a shot too. Make sure you test them first if you can before buying.

    Mike I played with tfight 320 95 head great racquet but difficult to customise , then got a t flash 315 100 head loaded it at 3, 9 , and 12 what a beast.Do you think this racquet would play well loaded up?

    • @MikeKomen
      @MikeKomen  3 роки тому +1

      Hey Tony! I wouldn't add any more to this one, if I had to I'd probably add a bit into the handle, but it carries a pretty high swing weight as is.

    Hi Mike! I’m a one hand back hand intermediate player. Which racket would u reconend me? Is it de Yonex vcore 95/98 a good option? I dont mind the brand. Looking forward to your comments! Thanks!

    • @MikeKomen
      @MikeKomen  3 роки тому +1

      Hey Daniel I think you’d love the vcore 95 or 98. They are very maneuverable so they are great for swinging that one hander. Even made a two hander like me feel like I could hit like shapovalov haha

      @@MikeKomen thanks for the reply! i´ve read that smaller head rackets are beter for the 1hbh. So should i go for the vcore 95? or is it quite hard to hit the sweetspot on it?

    • @MikeKomen
      @MikeKomen  3 роки тому

      That’s the racquet I use. I found the sweet spot is big on it so you don’t notice it’s headsize being a bit smaller
