    This is a great racket from Tecnifibre. I find this racket to be a better overall performer compared to the Blade 98 18x20, which is also a great racket. The 305 gram category is on fire with some of the best rackets available.

    One of the be sticks I've ever played with. Has great spin (Razor code bleu @ 59lbs). Control is great. Volleys are average. Serve is better with pace and spin over flat. It measured up to spec also. The power was fine imo and the head weight is near perfect and doesn't feel heavy at all. @tennisnerd your recommendation for this racquet was spot on and decided to buy from your advice. Thx. P.S. The previous sticks were Yonex Tour 98 which felt like a wet noodle and were inconsistent possibly due to the flex rating.

    Played with it today. If you hadn't told me, I'd say it's RA is 58. No way I would've guessed the 70, since I did feel a flex. If that's due to dampening then that's very well done. Unlike countervail this still plays lively. Overall I'm impressed. at the attention of detail on stress points of the frame and grommet.

    Thanks Jonas, I am looking at the t40 but will wait a bit. I know your technique has come on in leaps and bounds but in this video your volleys in particular look like they will be putting a lot of strain on your elbow with the under follow through I have noticed that type of follow through on slice and volleys can lead players getting tennis elbow. You are very good at getting the ball back nevertheless with that technique.

      In this video he literally said that he liked this more then the 315 and also when he mentioned his current top racquets he didn’t mention the Dunlop FX or Prostaffs, which he recently tested ... so your claim that every racquet is his favourite is technically wrong and you’ve just exposed yourself. Also if your relying on any review, no matter how good it is, to buy a racquet and not testing it yourself, then your worse then a noob because even beginners know better then that LMAO and you call tennis nerd fickle but need him to reference 40 other racquets so you can ‘rely’ on his review ... what a joke🤣🤣🤣

    Thanks Jonas I have 3 of the TF 40 18/20 previous version like them but a little slow through the air for doubles and volleys. I recently bought a TF40 16/19 which I haven’t got to play with yet well under spec weighs 307 strung should weigh 305 unstrung ! and about 320gms strung. This racquet could be really good for me as you say re 18/19 pattern looks good never tried it. I think I will buy one and sell one of my others depending on how it feels I only use Hyper G as gives good feel and comfort. Thanks again

    Nice video! Interesting to see that you have the PS97 in your M-R-R list and not the Angell TC97, thought you preferred the latter as it's less stiff? I've just received it (310g 9points HL) in the mail today, cannot wait to play with it :) what strings would you recommend for it by the way? It's 16x19 and I don't play too flat or with super heavy topspin either, just enough to keep a good margin over the net! Thanks

    • @kenpoels
      @kenpoels 3 роки тому

      @@mwu365 Yes i have compared them head to head, The Aero VS is a lot like the normal Pure Aero... only thing that is different is the smaller headsize and the extra string in the frame to give it morge control... That was a bit of a dissapointment for me. the 5 grams of weight difference i barely notice (Aero VS and RS305) i was expecting something more behind the idea because i'm an absolute Babolat gearhead.
      After trying the Tecnifibre line i came acros the new RS305 and it gave me a lot more feel to the bal (same strings used) and i really liked the top heavy head. it did take some time to get used to but afteral i played the pure aero almost al my tennis life
      for a stiff frame (the RS305) it feels very comfy!
      On terms of spin i dont notice any lost. On the contrary with a spin friendly string i think it can help you give it even more spin! afteral it depens on the style of play and your personal tecniche not so much the frame

      @Tennisnerd Interested what you think would make this racket feel less powerful than then TF40 305. Same head size and static weight, swingweight pretty close, so would expect the 3 point extra stiffness from the Tfight RS's beam width and shape to make it the more powerful of the two.
      (Of the two series, I've played only with the TF40 315, which feels great so far on a couple weeks play, though I'd happily dial the power up just a little.)
