Nice. The 5s was my work phone, so I wasn't in a position to complain, but the overwhelming feeling was it was too small compared to the other flagships of the day. I am working on a video for the 6s Plus. It's a nice phone. Still obsolete but shoots in 4k. I suspect it's a better camera than any cameras I currently own. We'll find out. Thanks for watching.
@@Raptor50aus I am getting a 15 Pro Max at work next week but from what I'm told it will be locked down so hard I won't even be able to get any video off of it. I have a 6sPlus video I'm working on now. From 6s forward there isn't a whole lot of difference between the iPhones.
Also have been recording Super VHS-C with my JVC and Victor (japanese model) which looks great on a Sony Bravia 32 inch LCD from 2009 which had S-Video and the video looks alot better than a Sony Trinitron 21 inch TV I had which I only sold off this week. The Sony Bravia 32 inch from 2009 which is 1080P but seems to have an excellent circuit for the older formats. Plus it was only $30 to buy from a local vintage store :) picking up a Sony Bravia 22 inch model from 2009 which has a built clock below the LCD and the same connections on the back as my 32 inch TV. I think that will looks even sharper having a smaller screen.
Those Super VHS will look glorious on those old Sonys. Modern TVs do a horrible job of rendering standard definition. It's like they don't even try to de-interlace and just show a jittery mess.
I had bought the Sony AX35P 4K Handycam 10 years ago and it's still working perfect today inc the batteries. Interesting that Sony still sells the Handycam 4K with the same design just less features and the batteries are still made new from Sony today.
Cameras haven't changed much in the last 10 years. I have many videos on my 9 year old cameras that are basically still sold brand new today because there is nothing better on the market. By the time we got to iPhone 6 or 7 it's pretty much peak design as far as the cameras go. We'll find out. I'll take the series as far as I can, but the iPhones that are not obsolete are too expensive to buy just to test the cameras. Thanks for watching.
@@WaybackRewind Try 4k is really it for home users. I picked up a Panasonic 3CCD MiniDV GS230 model like new this week. Had excellent video and a great comparison to my Sony PC1000 3CMOS MiniDV Handycam. Both record in 16:9 wide screen. I think the Panasonic colour is a little bit more vibrant but the Sony is very sharp.
Yes. If all you need is the camera you can still use an iPhone 1. As a telephone nothing below the 6 will work in North America. All my iPhones still work as cameras. Thanks for watching.
@@existentialism_01 Yes you can plug the phone into your computer and drag and drop the photos to your computer. No software or drivers are needed to do that.
@@WaybackRewind yeah. basically why i asked this question was that i contacted local store who is selling iphone 5's for a very cheap , i messaged them if i could use it for camera and they told be that it would be great for calls but not for camera, am in Georgia tbilisi by the way.
They have it completely backward. I have bought every iPhone from 1st generation to 12th. I can tell you that getting pictures off of them is no problem. Using anying older than iPhone 6 will be a big problem as a cell phone.
I skipped the 5S and went from the 4S to the 6S Plus :)

@@WaybackRewind When I bought my 11 Pro Max I replaced the battery in my 6S plus and my mother inlaw is still using it today working fine.
